  • Development of digital media and interest in education bring big progress at digital device of education globally. UK which is advanced country of education is using digital education devices such as digital chalkboards, digital desks etc. and Japan plan digital text book's through the state. At 2011, Korea which is advanced country of internet adopted digital text book 2007 with mathematics, through science and English digital text book through the state. Korea's digital textbook is in a transition period, that needs case-study of advanced country of education for setting design guide and educational effect to Digital text book plan. All researches are based on LG europe design center at London, UK and target countries are UK and Sweden which is advanced country of education and a welfare state. Analysis by using FGI, KJ, survey of questionnaire, heuristic method, concentration observation. Through analytical researches prefer using digital text book with paper text book to using solo that can offer each advantage to user and teacher. Especially Interactive GUI design of digital text book to easy to access for teacher whom not friendly with digital device. When plan Digital text book content and design needs methodical design guide for target who students and teachers an in-depth study of the appraisal and method. The results of the research are introduce the design plan as a basic research and giving useful design plan to make digital text book and digital educational media in industrial aspect.

Device Performance Analysis Method for Hybrid Rendering (하이브리드 렌더링을 위한 단말기 성능분석 방법)

  • A Device performance analyzing method for appropriate level in hybrid rendering model is suggested. In recent research, we proposed a hybrid rendering model which is applying a proper shading method to each of polygons consisting of an object. The number of polygon for Gouraud shading and that for flat shading should be considered according to a current device performance and system environments. Therefore, this paper suggests the method to calculate automatically a proper resolution of a mesh of object and a proper level of mixture between Gouraud and a flat shading, considering a current device performance and a preference of end-user. The rendering model is so simple that it can be an efficient replacement to reduce a real-time rendering time since it provides automatically multi-level of rendering resolution to an executing environments. Moreover, it can be adopted in real-time adaptive service for 3D graphic contents like a graphic game under various device environments.

  • The existing input device is limited to keyboard and mouse. However, recently new type of input device has been developed in response to requests from users. To reflect this trend we propose the new type of input device that gives instruction as analyzing the hand motion of image without special device. After binarizing the skin color area using Cam-Shift method and tracking, it recognizes the hand motion by inputting the finger areas and the angles from the palm center point, which are separated through labeling, into four cardinal directions and counting them. In cases when specific background was not set and without gloves, the recognition rate remained approximately at 75 percent. However, when specific background was set and the person wore red gloves, the recognition rate increased to 90.2 percent due to reduction in noise.

  • The aim of this study was to develop a mobile application 'Beat Processing Device (BPD)' to record and quantify the data for the performance accuracy of rhythm production. BPD has been developed in three phases. First, we reviewed studies that used rhythm as main intervention strategy to improve cognitive functioning of older adults, and derived four basic rhythm idioms. Second, we developed an iOS-based mobile application, optimized the device, the instrument tone, and the measurement variables through preliminary test. Lastly, we tested the mobile application by comparing the performance data obtained from MIDI and BPD from 60 older adults. The device was shown to be reliable and consistent with other mode of measurement and analysis. Conclusively, BPD can be a useful tool for assessing rhythm production ability in the course of cognitive skills training.

  • In this paper, we proposed the interoperable DRM(Digital Rights Management) system that allows to redistribute contents safely based on home domain. We tried to solve the problem about contents redistribution between devices under different DRM regime so that we suggested a interoperable DRM system that allow end users to redistribute contents within home domain can solve the restriction and the inconvenience occuring in using contents and at the same time protect the right of contents producer and provider as well. In order that end users can use freely their contents using home digital device without additional payment, we must build a home domain for interoperable DRM system for contents redistribution among devices. If both of exporting device and importing device are authenticated in home domain by HADM(Home Authorized Domain Manager), then the exporting device can redistribute packaged contents under importing DRM regime to the importing device by DIM(DRM Interoperability Manager).

  • The purpose of this to study a more accurate scoring method in accordance with the change in the game due to the fast-break and external shots of modern basketball. We will make to design and develop a smart basketball device with a digital pressure sensor. The basketball is a sport that combines complex techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, and the game wins or loses with the most goals in all sports on the planet. In particular, shooting, which determines the win or loss of a game, is the technique that is most directly linked to the score, so the angle of projection is important to make a more accurate shooting. The purpose of this to develop an assistive device in order for the player to have a certain shooting rhythm by measuring the throw angle through a sensor that can measure the throw angle of the ball during shooting. This smart basketball device, it is possible to increase the accuracy of shooting through a certain throw angle at the basketball game field or during shooting practice, and accordingly, the performance can be expected to improve.

NBAS: NFT-based Bluetooth Device Authentication System (NBAS: NFT를 활용한 블루투스 장치 인증시스템)

  • Most Bluetooth devices are commonly used in various ways these days, but they can be often lost due to small-size devices. However, most Bluetooth protocol do not provide authentication functions to legitimate owners, and thus someone who obtains the lost Bluetooth device can easily connect to their smart devices to use it. In this paper, we propose NBAS can authenticates legitimate owners using NFT on lossy Bluetooth devices.NBAS generates a digital wallet on the blockchain using the decentralized network Ethereum blockchain and facilitating the MAC address of the Bluetooth device in the digital wallet. The owner of the wallet uses a private key to certify the Bluetooth device using NFT. The initial pairing time of NBAS was 10.25 sec, but the reconnection time was 0.007 sec similar to the conventional method, and the pairing rejection time for unapproved users was 1.58 sec on average. Therefore, the proposed NBAS effectively shows the device authentication over the conventional Bluetooth.

  • We studies to verify results similar to those of previous experiments, and their potential as a lighting device through optical characteristics experiments and resonance and optical characteristics simulations of array devices. The photonic quantum ring (PQR) device having a mesa diameter of 40 ㎛ and an internal hole diameter of 3 ㎛ was fabricated. Through the near-field observation of the fabricated device, it was found that the PQR device operates even at ㎂, and also that the mesa and hole devices are driven independently of each other. As a result of measuring the wavelength spectrum of the device according to the location, the coupling phenomenon due to mesa and holes was confirmed.
