A Temperature Compensating System for LPG Dispenser (LPG 충전기용 온도 보정 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, a temperature compensating system(TCS) for LPG dispenser has been developed. A TCS includes a processor(80C196) with an AID converter. I/O port(82C55) and 6-digit vacuum fluorescent display. Based on encoding signals from the gas flow meter, different calibration values from each apparatus and temperature compensating values from the temperature sensor, the TCS controls the LPG dispensing quantity with switching on or off the solenoid valves. The temperature compensation is performed with analog-to-digital conversion of the temperature sensor. The resolution of temperature compensation is nearly $0.5^{\circ}C$ using 10-bit ADC. The field test of the TCS shows the exact temperature compensation.

  • The conventional method to deal with current transformer (CT) Saturation is over dimensioning of the core so that CTs can carry up to 20 times the rated current without exceeding 10% ratio correction. However, this not only reduces the sensitivity of relays as some errors may still be present in the secondary current when a severe fault occurs, but also increases the CT size. This paper presents an algorithm for compensating the distorted secondary current of iron-cored CTs under CT saturation using the magnetization (flux-current : .lambda.-i) curve and its performance is examined for fault currents encountered on a typical 345[kV] Korean transmission system, under a variety of different system and fault conditions. In addition, the results of hardware implementation of the algorithm using a TMS320C10 digital signal processor are also presented. The proposed algorithm can improve the sensitivity of relays to low level internal faults, maximize the stability of relays for external faults, and reduce the required CT core cross-section significantly.   • The purpose of this study is to propose a W3C standard, DCAT, to manage and service dataset that is becoming increasingly important as new knowledge information resources. To do this, we first analyzed the class and properties of the four core classes of DCAT. In addition, I modeled and presented a system that can manage and service various data sets based on DCAT in digital library. The system is divided into source data, data set management, linked data connection, and user service. Especially, the DCAT mapping function is suggested in dataset management. This feature can ensure interoperability of various datasets.

  • In nuclear fusion reactors, the key structural component (i.e., the plasma-facing component) undergoes high heat flux cyclic loading. To ensure the safety of fusion reactors, an experimental study on the temperature-induced creep of stainless steel under heat flux cyclic loading was performed in the present work. The strains were measured using a stereo digital image correlation technique (3D-DIC). The influence of the heat haze was eliminated, owing to the use of a vacuum environment. The specimen underwent heat flux cycles ($500^{\circ}C-1000^{\circ}C$) with different mechanical preloads (0 kN, 10 kN, 30 kN, and 50 kN). The results revealed that, for a relatively large preload (for example, 50 kN), a single temperature cycle can induce a residual strain of up to $15000{\mu}{\varepsilon}$.

  • There are three standards for FIDO1 authentication technology: Universal Second Factor (U2F), Universal Authentication Framework (UAF), and Client to Authenticator Protocols (CTAP). FIDO2 refers to the WebAuthn standard established by W3C for the creation and use of a certificate in a web application that complements the existing CTAP. In Korea, the FIDO certified market is dominated by UAF, which deals with standards for smartphone (Android, iOS) apps owned by the majority of the people. As the market requires certification through FIDO on PCs, FIDO Alliance and W3C established standards that can be certified on the platform-independent Web and published 『Web Authentication: An API for Accessing Public Key Credentials Level 1』 on March 4, 2019. Most PC do not contain biometrics, so they are not being utilized contrary to expectations. In this paper, we intend to present a model that allows login in PC environment through biometric recognition of smartphone and FIDO UAF authentication. We propose a model in which a user requests login from a PC and performs FIDO authentication on a smartphone, and authentication is completed on the PC without any other user's additional gesture.

  • This study develops and improves the EZ Touch App of the scorecard application (app) using the smartphone and the pad, and works with the customer management system (C/S). The research was conducted as follows. First, how do you handle the EZ Touch input method on a scorecard? Second, how to configure the platform of customer (member) management system (C/S) and data server system? Third, does EZ Touch App work organically with customer management system (C/S)? The developed EZ Touch is entered into the scorecard as an input method using the gesture as a result of this research, and it is linked with the C/S system to organize the review function, hall information function, field coaching function through score, It can be used for applications such as information management functions and statistics through differentiated statistics. However, there are some problems and improvements in user convenience in real time use. I think there is a need to study to solve this problem in the future. EZ Touch input method is input to the scorecard by inputting gesture of the finger as a result of this study, and it is linked with this, and it is possible to use differentiated statistics such as review function, hall information function, field coaching function, It is the purpose of the study to improve the technical competitiveness of the product by developing the application.

  • Compositional design and optimization of processing parameters are key factors for controlling and improving the properties of SiC-based electroconductive ceramic composites. Temperature rising time of sheath heater is 1.1 times faster than SiC ceramic heater. Heating insulation of SiC ceramic heater is 2.7 times larger than sheath heater. If SiC ceramic heater is one body type of a product application, contact resistance will decrease. I think that temperature initial rising time is faster than now. The more SiC ceramic heater is used for a long time, the more economic benefit is larger in the view point of heat insulation.

A Study on Characteristics of Female Consumers Using Big Data (Big Data를 활용한 여성소비자의 특성연구)

  • We are living in big data. Specially, female consumers are the hottest issue. Female consumers have a great effected on consumer culture as comparing male consumers. Therefore, this study analysis characteristics of female consumers through case study and literature review. The summarized results of research are as follows. First, percentage of economically active population of unmarried female of 20s is high, so they actively spend lots of money on buying goods and so on. Second, they are ahead of the curve and follow entertainers. Third, domestic case studies(SD online buz marketing, C.S.I. Shinsegaemall project, Service center only for female consumers of Shinhan Card, Travel Service of Lotte Tour) and international case studies(Big data service of Target, ZARA, and Walmart) show that if we utilize big data, we can raise re-purchasing desire and analysis needs of female consumers and create new female consumers.

Channel Interference Analysis of Wideband WLAN Based IEEE802.11n for 3rd Generation Digital Signage (3세대 디지털 사이니지를 위한 IEEE802.11n 광대역 무선랜에 대한 채널 간섭 분석)

  • In this paper, we have analyzed the effects of co-channel, adjacent-channel, and the human shield(Body Blockage) for wideband WLAN based on the IEEE802.11n 40MHz channel bandwidth required for high speed digital signage service. Simulation results show that wideband WLAN can be operated with 78 interferers over 63m distance in co- channel, 80 interferer over 61m distance in adjacent channel. By applying the mitigation method for reducing the interference, we have confirmed that protection distance is improved to 51m using beamforming, and 40m using cognitive radio in co-channel interference. Also body blockage interference is reduced using adaptive channel bandwidth, C/I ratio, beamforming, power control mitigation methodology.

  • Recently, a great variety of radio services are provided and interference problem between radio systems is being watched remarkably. Therefore, a study of interference between radio systems is needed. In this paper, compatibility between Ultra Wideband (UWB) and Terestrial Digital Multi-media Broadcasting (T-DMB) is analyzed and then distance between them is computed. UWB systems have a very broad frequency characteristic. A big advantage is to share frequency that is already allocated to other systems. T-DMB is a good point that while L-Band is already used for DAB, T_DMB is free of charge. AT-DMB (Advanced T-DMB) is being standardized recently. The result which is analyzed for the interference effects between UWB and T-DMB Systems is 10 [dB], which is value calculated by C/(N0+I), at 80 [m] and then the value is saturated at 150 [m].
