  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of massage therapy and exercise therapy on body composition and blood cholesterol in the obese women. Sixteen college women were randomly assigned to aged $20.1{\pm}2.7$ years who had not exercised regurlarly, volunteered to participate in the present study as subjects. They completed a 12 weeks massage therapy and exercise therapy performed 3 times/week, for 60min/session. Massage put in exercise treatment effect of 12 weeks in BMI has shown a significant decrease those are before test $25.1{\pm}2.2$ to after test $23.7{\pm}3.2$(p<0.05). The waist measure/height has a difference by before test r=0.5 to after a test r=0.47, and waist measure/hips measure by before test r=0.8 to after test r=0.75. A total cholesterol(TC) average value has $187.6{\pm}36.9$ before test to $168{\pm}32.4$(p<0.05) after test, a significant difference. Also average value of LDLC has $114{\pm}33.8$ before test to $99.2{\pm}30.4$(p<0.05) that shows a difference, but HDLC was $52{\pm}7.5$ before test to $52.3{\pm}7.7$(p<0.05) after test which means a none difference. HDLC does not have any difference but total cholesterol and LDLC were significantly different. It was a short program of 3 times a week, 60 min/session but, a dance meditation exercise program with high strength self massage had given a big effect in consideration. Using these scientific studies data, wish a program related by obese could make an activation in a beauty part.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of visual evaluation about silhouette image. The specific objective were; 1) to construct of silhouette image evaluation instrument using semantic differential scale for the purpose of measuring the width and length; 2) to identify the factor structure of the silhouette; 3) to test the difference of visual perception to the silhouette as the variation of width; 4) to test the difference of visual perception to the silhouette as the variation of length; 5) to test interaction effect between width and length. The major finding were; For the visual evaluation of silhouette as shoulder width variatiorl, there were significant difference in hardness and softness factor. For the hard and soft image, we should express by variation of the shoulder width. For the visual evaluation of silhouette as skirt width variation, there were significant difference in attention factor. For the attensive image, we should express by variation of the skirt width. For the visual evaluation of silhouette as skirt length variation, there were significant difference in activity factor. For the active image, we should express by variation of the skirt length.

  • The color changing of the wood surface was tested by accelerated weathering test that can simulate the outdoor condition with short period. In early parts of accelerated weathering test, weight and volume of specimen all were increased due to the moisture evaporation by its high temperature and illumination level, but weight and volume of specimen all were decreased from middle parts to last. However, significancy showed between control group and accelerated weathering test group in terms of weight and volume. According to the results of color-difference meter, in the early parts of the accelerated weathering test lightness, redness and yellowness all showed a clear increasing or decreasing trend. However, after three weeks all values were almost never change. Until the early parts of the test, lightness was decreased and there was not a considerable change after three weeks in the test. Redness showed a some change in early parts of the test, but this also showed not great change after middle parts of the test as like lightness. Yellowness also showed same pattern. These results could be verified through the visual inspection. As like weight and volume, significancy showed between control group and accelerated weathering test group in terms of color-difference test. In all accelerated weathering test group, color-differences of after test was lower than that of before test. To correctly analyze this cause, more additional research will be need on each of temperature, humidity and illumination factors.

  • This paper considers a specification test of conditional Poisson regression model for time series count data. Although conditional models for count data have received attention and proposed in several ways, few studies focused on checking its adequacy. Motivated by the test of martingale difference assumption, a specification test via Ljung-Box statistic is proposed in the conditional model of the time series count data. In order to illustrate the performance of Ljung- Box test, simulation results will be provided.

  • This study attempts to suggest a new approach of the the determination of location and range of fishing ground in the coastal vessel fishery using the anaiysis of variance(ANOVA) and least significant difference test(LSD test) in statistics. The important result of the empirical study is that there is no significant difference in fisfishing ground based on between fishermen's argument and spot investigation. But there is stastitically significant difference in fisfishing ground based on between fishermen's argument and the official documents of fishing records for past three years. The results suggest us that there exists a possibility of misuse of tax free oil providied for subsidizing fisheries. But because of the range limitation of data, it is impossible for us to generalize the above results.

  • This study reports on the use of the trait and state cognitive/metacognitive strategy use and the difference of the trait/state strategy use according to students' proficiency level. First of all, for checking up the trait strategy use, 119 first-grade male students in a high school completed the questionnaire on strategies which they thought they used during a reading test. Secondly, to find out their state strategy use, students took a fifteen-item reading comprehension test, followed by filling out questionnaires on cognitive and metacognitive strategies used in the test. This study employed quantitative data analysis. The results suggested that (1) the cognitive and metacognitive strategy use in the trait and state conditions are used the most by the high proficiency group and they are correlated respectively; (2) these strategies are used with statistically significant difference according to students' proficiency level, especially to the lower level students. The highly successful group uses the cognitive and metacognitive strategy in the actual test situation more than the lower proficient group; there is no difference in trait and state strategy use.
