음이항회귀식을 이용한 도로표지의 인지반응시간 추정모형 개발 (Development of Recognition and Reaction Time Prediction Model in Road Signs using Negative Binomial Regression)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the economical standard of road signs by verifying the difference of driver's recognition and reaction time according to the space rate of letters on the road signs. For this reason, indoor simulations was conducted to confirm difference of recognition and reaction time on six sign-targets having different space rate. Also, a negative binomial regression model was used to find the main factors which could lower the rate of misreading. For this model, increasing of legibility of sign is not only simple enlargement of sign, but also suitable match of letters and sign. The result of this study is capable of verifying the importance of the space rate in road signs, and being utilized as a effective method to determine the standard of the road signs.

AHP기법 적용을 통한 수산양식장 평가방식 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Aquaculture Evaluation Method by using AHP)

  • The purpose of this study is to help domestic aquaculture farm by improved evaluation method. First, We analyzed evaluation method of domestic aquaculture certification, the greater retailer's supplier and global standard. Next, By using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), We found priority and importance between criteria of SQF(Safety Quality Food) standard which is appled to alternative model for aquaculture evaluation. As a result is presented as follows: regarding pairwise comparison between System Element module and Good Aquaculture Practice(GAP) module, GAP is recognized to be more important than System Element. The highest priority criteria is presented 'Purchase and Use of Medications, Aquaculture Feeds and Aquaculture Chemicals.' Next, 'Management commitment', 'Attaining Food Safety', 'Location and Layout of Structures and Vessels', 'Stock Identification and Traceability are recognized high position. This study has major implications for research into development of evaluation method.

자동차 차체금형 가공용 공정계획 시스템 (A Process Planning System for Machining of Dies for Auto-Body Production)

  • This paper presents a variant type process planning system for machining of dies for auto-body production. Through the analysis of dies and their manufacturing processes, the authors categorized the press dies into 15 groups according to the similarity of machining features. After critically reviewing current manufacturing procedures, a standard process plan was defined for each group. The authors present MP3D the process planning system built on the standard process plan database, and show how they apply it at the die manufacturing plant of an automobile company. MP3D is expected to reduce major losses in machining such as reworking caused by mistakenly uncut features and eventually to help to accumulate the knowledge of operators. The operation sheet MP3D produces is also used in monitoring the progress of manufacturing of dies. This paper explains the whole development cycle of a process planning system from process analysis to application so that it can help readers to develop and apply a process planning system to their machine shops.

  • The purposes of this paper are applying the IDEF(Integrated DEFinition), which was selected for standard methodology of CALS(Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistic Support) process modeling, to the acquisition process of the weapon system to activate DEfense CALS of the acquisition and management business of weapon system on Defense Planning and Management System and developing a AS-IS model which is usable and that the analysis of process problems results in. On this paper, We diagrammed the function of the acquisition and management of weapon system by using IDEF0 and presented AS-IS model. This paper focused on the development of AS-IS model which can put to practical use to find the problems of current acquisition and management process of weapon system and the embodiment of national defense CALS system. So more detailed analysis of current system and additional studies about TO-BE model would be the future research area.

  • Jeollanamdo aims to cultivate Hanok Village as a lodging resource for tourism industry in rural areas. For the purpose, it invited eight models of the Hanok Village publicly and selected our model as the best. This study is to introduce the concepts and characteristics of the village, centering on the model developed by our research team and awarded by the local government. We develop and suggest eleven types of improved-type Hanok model that is to be distributed to each city and county. We compose the space which reflects needs of residents for modern living. And we focus on preservation of decorative beauty to make it a resource of tourism by creating beautiful view of Hanok and reduction of financial burden to activate its distribution. The Hanok developed in this study has a significant meaning as improved Hanok that can be suggested as a new model of rural area housing project.

  • In this paper, we propose a system that allows small business owners focusing on the restaurant business to easily understand the management situation, and to manage the operation and management centering on the cost of food materials and profits and losses. In general, the metadata structure is different depending on the POS system, so it is necessary to first develop a standardized metadata model for a food material cost management system for small business owners in various industries. For that reason, the system proposed in this paper was applied to the cost management app by referring to the development of a data model using the metadata standard. In addition, in order to implement a cost profit/loss management system for small business owners in the restaurant industry, it was designed to support standardized metadata models from various types of POS systems, and is a hybrid app that can support a smart environment. Computing turbulent far-wake development behind a wind turbine with and without swirl

  • Modeling swirling wakes is of considerable interest to wind farm designers. The present work is an attempt to develop a computational tool to understand free, far-wake development behind a single rotating wind turbine. Besides the standard momentum and continuity equations from the boundary layer theory in two dimensions, an additional equation for the conservation of angular momentum is introduced to study axisymmetric swirl effects on wake growth. Turbulence is simulated with two options: the standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$ model and the Reynolds Stress transport model. A finite volume method is used to discretize the governing equations for mean flow and turbulence quantities. A marching algorithm of expanding grids is employed to enclose the growing far-wake and to solve the equations implicitly at every axial step. Axisymmetric far-wakes with/without swirl are studied at different Reynolds numbers and swirl numbers. Wake characteristics such as wake width, half radius, velocity profiles and pressure profiles are computed. Compared with the results obtained under similar flow conditions using the computational software, FLUENT, this far-wake model shows simplicity with acceptable accuracy, covering large wake regions in far-wake study.

건물 방재 분야 정보의 상호운용성을 위한 데이터모델 개발에 관한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Development of Data Model for Interoperability of Information in Building Disaster Prevention)

  • 도시 규모의 변화와 건설기술의 발전으로 생활공간이 입체적으로 확장되고 있다. 그러나 초고층 건물의 등장으로 대변되는 건설기술의 발전에도 불구하고 인구가 밀집되는 고층 건물에 대한 방재 피해는 오히려 높아질 수 있다. 이와 같은 상황을 해결하기 위해서는 현실세계를 실시간으로 제어하고 예측할 수 있는 디지털 트윈기술이 대안이 될 수 있으며, 이를 위해 이미 구축된 공간정보들을 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 정보들을 건물 방재 분야에 재활용하고, 향후 생산되는 다양한 정보들이 방재분야에 활용될 수 있도록 표준화된 데이터 모델을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 대표적인 도시정보 모델인 CityGML 표준을 방재 분야로 확장한 데이터모델을 개발하였다.

대학생이 정보활용능력 척도 개발 연구 (The Study on Undergraduates' Information Literacy Scale Development)

  • 대학생들의 정보활용능력을 측정하기 위한 척도 개발의 기초자료로서 정보활용능력 표준과 모형을 분석하였다. 3개 표준과 2개 모형의 분석을 통해 핵심영역과 항목을 제시한 후, 최종적으로 척도 개발을 위한 항목 모형(안)을 제시하였다. 최종 척도 개발 항목 모형(안)은 6개 핵심영역과 18개 항목으로 구성되어 있다 제시된 척도 개발 항목 모형(안)은 앞으로 연구가 진행될 대학생들의 정보활용능력을 측정하기 위한 척도개발의 기초자료로서 이용될 것이다.

The Efficacy of Early Start Denver Model Intervention in Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Within Japan: A Preliminary Study

  • Objectives: Among the many intervention programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is one of the few approaches that has succeeded in demonstrating clinical efficacy in randomized control trials. Here, we investigate the clinical efficacy of ESDM intervention in young children with ASD in a community setting within Japan. Methods: All subjects were children with ASD who received ESDM intervention during the study period. Each ESDM session lasted 75 min and occurred once per week for at least 12 weeks. The outcome measures consisted of the Kyoto Scale of Psychological Development (K-test), Aberrant Behavior Checklist-Japanese version (ABC-J), and the Clinical Global Impression-Severity scale (CGI-S). Results: Twenty-seven subjects (29.4±6.4 months old) received ESDM intervention that lasted for 8.0±2.6 months on average. The score on Language and Social developmental quotient on the K-test increased significantly after the intervention. The total scores on the ABC-J and CGI-S significantly decreased after completion of the ESDM intervention. Conclusion: Our results suggest that ESDM intervention could reduce the severity of distinct clinical features of ASD, such as impairments in social interaction and communication assessed by the K-test, and maladaptive behavior rated by the ABC-J and CGI-S. We believe that the ESDM adapted to each institution might become one of the standard options for children with ASD in Japan.
