Female-headed household is one of the common family type in the changing Korean society. This study explored and described the coping strategies of poor female household heads who were in struggle with economic, physical, and emotional problems. The data was gathered by in-depth interviews with fifteen poor female heads of households. In the process of qualitative interview and analysis, the coping strategy was emerged as an important theme. The major strategies which the poor female heads had adopted were as follows. First strategy was making up their minds to live as heads of households to keep their children in the fence of family. Second was accepting that any husbands would not be helpful in general. Third was developing independence, which meant providing their families on their own labor without expecting the support from social network or welfare system. Forth strategy was giving the present situation a positive definition: it gave them the emotional comfort.

An ice storage cooling facility with cooling capacity of 150㎾ has been constructed for the purpose of developing optimal design and control strategy for an ice storage system. As the first step to this purpose, a computer program has been developed to simulate the operation of the ice storage system and examined precisely by comparing the results with those measured from the test facility. With the simulation program verified from the comparison, a design procedure has been developed to determine the minimum capacity required for each operation strategy available commercially. It is shown that the minimum sizes of the chiller and the storage tank are strongly dependent on the control strategy, i.e., chiller priority or storage priority, but less affected by the arrangement method, i.e., chiller upstream or chiller downstream.

Since a convergence strategy in interactive procedure is the origin of a lot of the restrictions and inconvenience of many methods, a new flexible convergence strategy is necessary for developing that is applicable for interactive MOLP as well as interactive multiple objective integer programming(MOIP). A method for computing the volume of the interval defined subsets of weighting vector space is developed using Sobol's LP$_{i}$, Generator. Since the interactive procedure requires a number of iterations, with a fixed number of solutions presented per iteration, a convergence strategy is needed to control the rate at which the interactive procedure converges to a final solution. Thus, in this paper, a new convergency strategy is developed.

A country's macro developing strategies will greatly impose upon its water resources allocation. Based upon the relationship between national macro developing strategies and water diversion projects layout, the paper discusses the vital influence of water diversion projects caused by China's food security and sustainable development strategy implemented in recent years, and points out that it is an inevitable choice of constructing inter-basin water diversion projects in north China in view of local water resources can't meet the demand of socio-economic development and eco-environment protection, and then recommends China's water diversion projects layout in the current and future, which attaching most importance to the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.

With the development of the Internet, electronic commerce, electronic markets, and digital economy, new business paradigm and new ways of business have been emerging and developing. The development of right and robust business models for electronic markets is a key for Internet business success. This parer reviews previous studies and successful cases for business models based on the Internet. This paper presents strategic factors such as the business value and the source of revenue, products and services, business processes and technologies, and the characteristics of electronic markets and relationship with customers and partners as a framework for developing sustainable and robust business models. This paper presents seven propositions for developing successful Internet business models as guidelines for practitioners and theorists.

Although the important information are significantly increasing in the Web, it is easily disappeared because of the Web's characteristics. The purpose of this paper is researching and developing of base technology for archiving web records. First developing about the workflow which is the procedure of web archiving, and developing about metadata elements, the essential condition of preserving web records and accessing archived resources. Finally developing the architecture defined the overall items of web records archiving.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for developing the self-leadership program by identifying the effect of self-leadership on intrinsic motivation among physical therapy students. METHODS: One hundred physical therapy students in E university of Gyeonggido were recruited by convenience sampling from October 4 to 14, 2016. Of them, 89% were chosen and 79% were analyzed after excluding the cases with wrong answers. The survey, using Likert's five scales was conducted with fifteen items of intrinsic motivation (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, .84) and thirty-five items of self-leadership (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, .90). Frequency analysis, correlation analysis regression diagnostics, and multiple regression analysis were done with SPSS 20.0 Statistics program (IBM, Korea). RESULTS: The total score of Self-leadership was 3.61 and of substrategies was 4.05 (Natural reward strategy), 3.38 (Behavior-focus strategy), and 3.43 (Constructive thought pattern strategy), respectively. The score of intrinsic motivation was 3.43. The substrategy of Self-leadership indicated positive correlation with intrinsic motivation. The correlation values in higher order were .75 (Natural reward strategy), .66 (Behavior-focus strategy), and .61 (Constructive thought pattern strategy). The Constructive thought pattern strategy (t=5.18, p=.00) and Natural reward strategy (t=2.10, p=.38), except Behavior-focus strategy were effective on intrinsic motivation, according to the multiple regression analysis. CONCLUSION: Before stepping up to the next level of being a physical therapist, students must go through the educational program to improve the Constructive thought pattern strategy and Natural reward strategy.

As auctions become popular, developing good agent bidding strategies has been an important focus in agent-based electronic commerce research. Especially for the continuous double auctions where no single dominant strategy is known, the agent bidding strategy has practical significance. This paper introduces an adaptive agent strategy for the countinuous double auction. The central idea is to let the agent figure out at run time when the sophisticated strategy (called the p-strategy) is beneficial and when a simpler strategy is better. Balance between exploration and exploitation is achieved by using a heuristic exploration function that trades off the expected profits and the number of tries of each strategy. We have experimentally evaluated the performance of the adaptive strategy in a wide variety of environments. The experiment results indicate that the adaptive strategy outperforms the plain p-strategy when the p-strategy performs poorly, while it performs similar to the p-strategy when the p-strategy dominates the other simple strategies.

This study presents a research model that demonstrates the dominant design technology strategy for developing and securing dominant design technology based on open innovation. For this purpose, this study developed a strategic model for the development and acquisition of design technology, production technology, and production system of propeller which satisfies the requirements of ship propulsion system required by ship owners and shipbuilders. By studying large propellers for ships, it is possible to embody a strategic model that can be used as a technology development strategy of dominant design that is effective in technology field of other industries. In this study, HSP (High Skewed Propeller) strategy of Hyundai Heavy Industries, which occupies the largest global market share (47.5%, 2007) for more than 30 years until now, is analyzed as a successful case to verify this strategic model. The development and acquisition strategy model of dominant design technology presented in this study consists of four stages : dominant design project strategy, dominant design engineering technology strategy, dominant design production technology strategy, and dominant design production system strategy. The strategic model summarizes the key activities at each stage. In addition, the steps and core activities of this strategic model were confirmed through the case study. As a technology development strategy of HSP products, Hyundai Heavy Industries utilized open innovation technology to cooperate with outside, that is, collaborative research and development with KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) research team, and succeeded in achieving technology development of dominant design of HSP products by linking it with HSP technology development and acquisition strategy.
