  • Tidal power station is using the difference of the ebb and flow and the single action tidal power is dependent on tide amplitude and basin volume. Therefore the inflow of basin in rainy season has also effect on the daily power. Also if operating units are changed then starting head too changed. Therefore the number of units are very important for the optimization model. According to our study the primary point when we make a determination of optimization is starting head and governorl control mode. On this study optimization model for tidal power station is considered all of this conditions.

Developement of planetary differential type traction drive (차동유성형 마찰드라이브의 개발)

  • The traction drive has advantages of having high efficiency and transmitting the power without blacklash. However, when high ratio of speed reduction is desired, excessively large size is required. In this study, a new type of traction drive is invented, designed and manufactured so that stable speed reduction mech- anisms are available by adopting a cross roller type drive. It has a simple structure, but produces high speed reduction ratio. Power loss is observed, and also, driving torque and torque transfer efficiency are calculated. Pre-loads are needed in order that the traction drive transfers power without slipping, and the spacer is enlarged due to the pre-loading. After all, the key point of pre-load mechanism is that the spacer's diameter becomes larger as pre-loads are applied.

  • Fatigue fracture of engine connecting-rod bolts is encountered frequently during the developement of high-speed engines. Only the engine dyno test is a currently reliable fatigue durability assessment method. It is because the available rig tests cannot mimic the engine running condition completely, and because the finite element analysis cannot provide realistic stresses near the bolt thread that is modeled as a cylinder. This paper introduces a methodology to assess the fatigue durability of the connecting-rod bolts using the finite element analysis. The methods to contruct the bolt model, to extract the critical bolt stresses for the fatigue analysis, and to obtain the bolt fatigue endurance limit experimentally are discussed. Reliability of the method is verified indirectly.

  • 본 논문에서는 대형 공조기기에서 냉매의 회수시간을 단축하기 위해 진공과 가압방식을 겸용하면서 작업 시 이동이 손쉽게 소형으로 회수 및 충전이 가능할 수 있는 냉매 회수 및 충전 전용기 개발을 하고자 한다. 냉매회수시스템의 작업과정은 냉매회수 장치와 냉동기의 증발기 하부에 충진용 밸브를 호스로 연결하고 진공펌프를 운전하여 저장 탱크 내에 부착된 압력계가 진공상태가 될 때까지 액냉매를 회수 한 후, 자체적으로 증발, 흡입, 액화시켜 탱크내의 온도와 압력을 낮추어 액화된 냉매를 저장탱크로 회수하는 장치로 구성되어 있다.

  • This study was conducted to develop a soil moisture meter using capacitance probe. A parallel cylinder type capacitance probe (C-probe) was fabricated The 5 MHz of crystal oscillator was constructed to detect the capacitance change of the C-probe with moist soil. A third order polynomial regression model for volumetric water content having oscillation frequency changes at 5 MHz as independent variables presented the determination coefficient of 0.979 and root mean square error of $0.031\;cm^{3}cm^{3}$ for all soil samples. A prototype soil moisture meter consisting of the sample container, C-probe, oscillator, frequency counter and related signal procession units presented the correlation coefficient of 0.987 and the root mean square error of $0.032\;cm^{3}cm^{3}$ as compared with the oven drying method for unknown soil samples.

  • The logistics industry is based on personnel, and without talented individuals, corporate success in impossible. Therefore, we should fully understand and research China's future in logistics along with the status of related personnel in the country, and seek to establish valid measures concerning our country's logistics personnel. In order for Korea's logistics industry to develop, we should also consider professional training of personnel and the establishment of training facilities. The training of logistics personnel can promote national competitiveness, and can contributetowards the national economy. Also, the production of competitive personnel can secure the healthy and secure development of the Chinese logistics industry. In conclusion, our companies should continue professional training for current and new employees, and through internal training and certifications, improve workers' capabilities and productivity, promoting the healthy development of the logistics industry.

  • The ECG monitoring system had play a significant roll in ICU, CCU and operating room. By alarming the change of ECG wave form and heart rate, staff can control emergency state. The improve of recent digital technology is able to develope low cost and high quality ECG monitoring system. In this paper, we develope new monitoring system with low price microprocessor and control system.

  • This ppaer presents a bit-rate conversion system for efficient communications between 3 channel CVSD systems with different bit-rates. The proposed conversion system is implemented in the digital domain and specially, the conversion problem between 32 Kbps and 16 Kbps CVSD systems is studied. The conventional conversion system implemented in the analog domain allows signals to be easily degraded by external noises. To overcome this problem, a digital CVSD bit-rate conversion system robust to external noises is developed. the new systemdecodes CVSD bit sequences and converts sampling rates of decoded signals, then encodes signals at target bit-rates. Since linear phase property does not matter in this application, instead of FIR filters a IIR filter is employed to reduce the system complexity. Therefore, a 3 channel digital CVSD bit-rate conversion system was successfully real-time implemented using a general purpose DSP. In addition, conversion problems with unkown time constants were experimented and good experimental results were obtained.

  • There has been considerable interest in electrochromic devices because of its potential application in automobiles including mirrors and windows. The electrochromic(EC) mirror can automatically control the amount of glare produced by headlights or other light source on either inside or outside mirrors. Therefore, the EC mirror can be a better alternative to todays day-night mirrors for automobiles. In this paper we have fabricated all solid state EC mirrors with glass-ITO / a-WO$_3$/ polymer electrolyte / a-V$_2$O$\sub$5/ / ITO-glass / Al structure and investigated their spectral reflectance as a function of applied voltage.

  • This technical report provide practical waterwork management system by using CDMA telecommunication method. Local water supply unit and tude-well unit which is placed in the mountainous area could be controlled remotely by MMI monitoring system. Developed method of waterwork managing system is a newly application area of CDMA technology which include web-based control units.
