Modelica를 이용한 인공위성 동작 통합시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발 (Development of Integrated Simulation Program for Artificial Satellite Operations by Modelica)

  • An integrated simulation program for an artificial satellite's operation has been developed. The program integrates and simulates orbit mechanics, attitude control, power/energy transition and mass variation. In the early stages of satellite development, this program can be used as a communication tool among design engineers of different fields. As a result, the efficiency to design a satellite is expected to increase. This program has been coded by Modelica language which supports acausal and object oriented programming methods. Libraries are developed for satellite simulation, and simulation results are presented.

  • The simulation program which can predict major performances of the multi-type heat pump system was developed. In order to verify the simulation program, several experimental tests were performed under various recommended conditions. The experimental results show in good agreement with simulation results. The verified simulation program was used to analyze the system performance. The capacities and the COP's under the various indoor and outdoor conditions were predicted. Therefore, it may be concluded that the system simulation program developed in this study may be effectively used for the system design and the performance prediction of the multi-type heat pump system.

중년여성의 통합적 건강증진 프로그램 적용의 효과 (The Effect of an Integrated Health-Promotion Program in Middle-Aged Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the effect of an integrated health promotion program in middle-aged women. Method: The research design was a quasi experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected from July 1st to August 31st, 2003. One group consisted of 30 subjects. The instruments used for the study were the Self Efficacy Scale and the Health Promotion Behavior Scale developed by Park(1995), Subjective health status developed Speake(1989) and menopause-related symptoms developed by Park(1995). The data was analyzed using the SPSS WIN 10.0 program. In order to compare the effects of the pre-post synthesized health promotion program, the ed t-test was employed. Result: There was not a significant increase in subjective health status after the integrated health promotion program, nor was there a significant decrease in menopause-related symptoms after the synthesized health promotion program. There was a significant increase in self efficacy after the integrated health promotion program(p=.029), and there was also a significant increase in health promotion behavior after the integrated health promotion program(p=.006). Conclusions: Through an 8 week education program for health promotion, self efficacy and health promotion behavior were effectively changed in middle-aged women.

이공계(理工系) 학생을 위한 일반물리학 CAI 프로그램의 개발 (DEVELOPMENT OF GENERAL PHYSICS CAI PROGRAM FOR UNIVERSITY SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING STUDENT)

  • General Physics CAI Program was developed for university science and engineering student. The program was restricted in the field of mechanics and was mainly aimed for individual tutorial. This project was supported by Government. Department of Education, physics attending their general physics classes in university. The program was written in BASIC and constructed by frame, 4 professors and 6 graduate students were involved in the project. Summary of this study is as follows. 1. The theory of CAI was illuminated from a new point of view to enhance usefullness of CAI. Also the structure of frame type CAI was studied. 2. The program was developed as follows 1) The program consisted of main program, pretest routine, tutorial routine, final test routine, and several other routines for program control. Whole program was written in BASIC. 2) 20 problems for pretest, 90 problems and subsequent hints and solutions for tutorial, 20 problems for final test were developed. 3) According to student's pretest result, tutorial course was routed through several different courses which contain different number of problems 4) The expected rate of achievment for final test was set to 75%. 5) Data of students response to problems including number of tries and time used were recorded for the purpose of achievment analisys 3. 22 students went through whole course and the results were as follows. 1) Pretest marks were widly distributed from 20 points to 100. It means that achievement of high school physics course were not enough. 2) Throughout tutorial course, students who had got higher mark in pretest answered correctly in the first trial at a higher rate of 78 %. Overall rate of correct answer in the second trial was distributed appropriatly. 3) Average mark of final test was 78.8 points, rather a higher rate of achievement than expected. This means that the program was constructed well.

HIV/AIDS 상담간호사를 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용 (Development and Operation of an Education Program for HIV/AIDS Counseling Nurses)

  • Purpose: This aim of the present study was to assess a newly developed education program for HIV/AIDS counseling nurses. Methods: An education program was developed based on literature reviews, previous project analysis, focus group interview and expert meetings. The program comprised of 3 levels: basic, advanced, and intensive, which included 80, 70, and 60 hours of education, respectively. From May to December in 2012, 17 counseling nurses completed the program and we evaluated their learning achievements, attitudes towards AIDS, confidence in consultation, empathic ability, and training sessions. We also measured the nurses' satisfaction with the program before and after completion. Results: After completing a monthly education program lasting 12-15 hours, the nurses' mean learning achievement was 88.5%, 88.3% and 91.4% out of the basic, advanced, and intensive levels, respectively. Although the nurses' attitudes towards AIDS did not change, their confidence and empathic abilities increased following the basic and intensive components of the programs. Satisfaction with the educational sessions and program operation was 4.23 out of 5.0. Conclusion: This newly developed education program for HIV/AIDS counseling nurses promoted learning achievements as well as, confidence and empathic ability in consultation. HIV/AIDS counseling nurses should receive continuous education opportunities to enhance their potential.

Assessment of Village Health Worker Training Program in Tuguegarao, Philippine

  • Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of 'village health worker training program' which aimed to build community participatory health promotion capacity of community leaders in villages of low developed country and to develop methods for further development of the program. Methods : The intervention group were 134 community leaders from 25 barangays (village). Control group were 149 form 4 barangays. Intervention group participated 3-day training program. Questionnaire was developed based on 'Health Promotion Capacity Checklist' which assessed capacity in 4 feathers; 'knowledge', 'skill', 'commitment', and 'resource'. Each feather was assessed in 4 point rating scale. Capacity scores between intervention group and control group were examined to identify changes between the pre- and post-intervention periods. A qualitative evaluation of the program was conducted to assess the appropriateness of the program. The program was conducted in Tuguegarao city, Philippine in January, 2009. Results : The result showed significant increases in the total health promotion capacity and each feather of health promotion capacities between pre and post assessment of intervention group. But there was no significant change in that of control group. Participants marked high level of satisfaction for preparedness, selection of main subjects and education method. Qualitative evaluation revealed that training program facilitated community participatory health promotion capacity of participants. Conclusions : This study suggested that the Village health worker training program is effective for building health promotion capacity of community leaders and it can be a main method for helping low developed countries with further development.

노인의 효능자원을 이용한 기억훈련프로그램의 효과 (Effects of a Memory Training Program Using Efficacy Sources on Memory Improvement in Elderly People.)

  • This study was a quasi-experimental study to confirm the effects of a memory training program using efficacy sources. The purpose was to develop an effective memory training program for elderly people and to identify the effects of the memory training program. This study was carried out between February 24 and July 18, 1999 and the subjects of the study were 102 elderly people who were participants at a welfare institute in Seoul. The experimental group (51) and the control group (51) were assigned by means of participation order. The control group was matched to the experimental group and was selected considering age, sex, and religion. The experimental group participated in the memory training program. The memory training program was based on the literature of Fogler & Stern (1994), Wang & Lee (1990), Lee (1991) and Lee (1993). The memory training program was given twice a week for two weeks with each program lasting two hours. Task centered memory self-efficacy was measured using the Memory Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Berry & Dennehey (1989) and Meta Memory was measured by the MIA developed by Dixon et al. (1988) Memory performance was measured by the word list developed by Cho Sung Won (1995) and the face recognition task (Face Recognition Task developed for this study). Data were analyzed by SPSS PC and the results are described below. 1. The experimental group which participated in the Memory Training Program showed higher task centered memory self-efficacy scores as compared to the control group (t=4.354, P=.0001). 2. The experimental group which participated in the Memory Training Program showed higher metamemory scores as compared to the control group (t=4.733, P=.0001). 3. The experimental group which participated in the Memory Training Program showed higher memory performance scores as compared to the control group (t=7.500, P=.0001). The memory performance involved an immediate word recall task, a delayed word recall task, a word recognition task, and the face recognition task. 4. In the experimental group, there was significant correlation between the task centered memory self-efficacy scores and the metamemory scores (r=.382, P=.006), but the correlation between the task centered memory self-efficacy scores and the memory performance scores and between the metamemory scores and the memory performance scores were not significant. The results showed that task centered memory self-efficacy, meta memory and memory performance improved following the Memory Training Program including the memory process, changes in memory with aging, and appropriate use of memory strategies. Memory Training Program is an effective nursing intervention for improving memory in elderly people and, also, in people with complaints of memory loss.

한국천문연구원 '스타-카' 프로그램 개발 및 효과 분석 : 과학문화 소외지역을 중심으로 (Developement and Effect Analysis of 'Star-Car' Program of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute : Focused on the Scientific Cultural Isolated Regions)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 과학문화 소외지역 초등학생들의 천문우주에 관한 동기유발과 천문우주 과학개념의 올바른 형성을 위해 STEAM 프로그램 및 PEST 방법을 적용한 '스타-카' 운영 프로그램을 개발하고, 이에 대한 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 5명의 전문가가 참여하여 워크숍을 통해 프로그램 개발 방향을 설정하고, 이동천문대 프로그램 초안을 개발한 후, 1회의 시범 적용을 통해 프로그램을 최종 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 개발한 프로그램은 융합인재교육(STEAM)을 적용하였으며, 과학문화 소외지역 초등학생들을 대상으로 진행하는 프로그램이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 연구에서 개발한 이동천문대 프로그램은 초등 전 연령이 함께 할 수 있는 천문우주에 대한 호기심을 자극하는 프로그램으로 개선하였다. 둘째, 이 연구에서 개발한 프로그램은 상황제시 1차시, 감성적 체험 5차시, 창의적 설계 5차시의 총 11차시로 구성하였다. 셋째, 이 프로그램에 참여한 학생들의 만족도 분석 결과는 대체적으로 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과로 미루어볼 때, 이동천문대 프로그램은 학습자의 핵심 역량을 강화시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

어린이집 유아반 교사를 위한 교사학습공동체 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Application of a Teacher Learning Community Program for Daycare Center Teachers of Infant Class)

  • Objective: The objective of this study was to develop and apply a Teacher Learning Community Program in order to improve the specialization of infant daycare center teachers and explore the changes in the learning attitudes of teachers. Methods: To develop the program, the requirements were analyzed by surveying 500 teachers of infant classes. The developed program was provided to 25 infant daycare center teachers for a total of 14 sessions. A total of 75 sets of collected journal writing materials were analyzed qualitatively. Results: First, the Teacher Learning Community Program for infant daycare center teachers was developed. Second, the Teacher Learning Community Program was found to bring a shift in the learning attitudes among the teachers of infant classes towards reflective and communal learning. Conclusion/Implications: The Teacher Learning Community Program brought a shift in the learning attitude towards reflective and communal learning. Thus, the Teacher Learning Community Program can be applied as a teacher education program for improvement of the specialization of infant daycare center teachers.

부인암 여성과 배우자를 위한 웹 기반 성 건강 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Web-based Sexual Health Program for Women Undergoing Treatment for Gynecologic Cancer and Their Partners)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners, and to evaluate the validity of the developed program. Methods: A web-based sexual health program was developed and evaluated: analysis (needs assessment on 23 patients and content analysis through literature review and web search), design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Results: The web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners was structured with sexual life, sexual response cycle, change of sexual function, sexual dysfunction related to treatment, and useful method for sexual dysfunction. This program included a video to improve for understanding and a bulletin board to promote bi-directional interactions between program users and providers. Experts and users rated this program in terms of efficacy, convenience, design, relevance, and usefulness. This program contents were found appropriate and satisfactory to both experts and users. Conclusion: This web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners would contribute to sexual health promotion for gynecologic cancer women and their partners.
