  • ESR(ElectroSlag Remelting) Process is secondary fine process and melts steels by electric resistance heat and fines the melting steels by an appropriate solidification process parameters which affects the melting and solidification processes to get the high quality products. This paper describes a method to derive the mathematical model and analysis the dynamic characteristics for designing a controller of the ESR processes. The ESR process consists of a melting and solidificating processes and electrical system include the contact resistance mechanism. In this paper, we consider only the static relationship between inputs and outputs of the electric system because the dynamics of the electric system is so fast compared with the melting and solidificating processes which are analysed by using finite difference method. As the results, the fine processing in ESR is analysed and the process controller could be designed based on the process dynamic analysis.

  • The purpose of this paper is that investigates the Natural Frequency behavior characteristic of Wind Turbine Jacket Type Tower model, and calculated that the stress values of Thrust Load, Wave Load, Wind Load, Current Loda, Gravity Load, etc., environment evaluation analysis during static Operating Wind Turbine Jacket Type Tower model, carried out of Natural Frequency analysis of total load case to stress matrix, Frequency calculated that calculated Add Natural Frequency to stiffness matrix for determinant to stress results. The finite element analysis is performed with commercial F.E.M program (ANSYS) on the basis of the natural frequency and mode shape.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether a group of predictor variables which constitute four determinants of dining satisfaction do exert a significant influence on messures of dining satisfaction in family restaurant. Canonical correlation analysis is used to achieve the purpose of this study. This technique enables the researcher to test for the effects of a set of predictor variables upon a multidimensional measure of dining satisfaction in family restaurant. Results suggest that multiple determinants are important in determining dining satisfaction in family restaurant. No one determinant can fully explain its complexities. The four determinants also appear to vary in terms of importance. Individual variables within four determinants also appear to vary in terms of importance. Finally, the results of the study provide some insight into the types of marketing strategies that can be successfully used by operators who manage family restaurants.

허혈성 뇌졸중의 유형별 사망률 분석 (Mortality analysis of subtypes in acute ischemic stroke)

  • Worldwide, stroke is the 2nd or 3rd leading cause of death and a major health problem. Recent advances in medical technology have significantly improved diagnosis and treatment strategies of ischemic stroke. The ischemic stroke subtype is an important determinant of mortality and long-term prognosis of patients. To estimate excess-risks of the ischemic stroke subtype, recently published article, Korean cohort study of stroke, was used as a source article. According to mortality analysis methodology from American academy of insurance medicine, the overall mortality ratio and excess death rate was the highest in patients with SOD, followed by those with CE. Calculated mortality ratio and excess death rate for subtype in this review are SOD, 920%/34‰; CE 267%/34‰; UI 209%/25‰; UM 190%/23‰; UN 188%/15‰; LAA 162%/15‰; LAC 117%/3‰.

청과물의 수분과 당도와의 관계 구명 및 응용 (Study and Application of the Relationship between Water Content and Sugar Content in Fruit and Vegetables)

  • This study was carried to find out relationships between water content and sugar content in fruit and vegetables and present the possibility of estimating sugar content by measuring water content. Water content and sugar content of melons, peaches, and apples were measured. Both F-test and linear regression analysis on the experimental data were done. The regression models were developed and validated. The results were summarized as follow : 1. According to the F-test, the coefficients of determinant were greater than 0.8, and significance probability was less than 0.0001 in each materials. 2. According to the regression analysis of melons, peaches, and apples, the standard errors of calibration(SEC) were 0.67 brix%, 0.82 brix%, and 0.72 brix%, respectively. 3. The standard errors of prediction(SEP) were 0.76 brix%, 1.03 brix%, and 0.77 brix%, respectively. 4. The relationship between sugar content and water content in apple was successfully applied to measure the sugar content from hydrogen NMR spectrum of apple samples.

간호사의 임금수준 결정요인에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of the Factors Determining Salary Level of Hospital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the factors determining salary level of hospital. Methods: This study performed secondary analysis on the existing data. Data were collected from May 1, 2005 to September 30, 2005. Analysis of the results was carried out using SPSS win 12.0 program for t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression. Results: For the determinant factors on the level of nurse's salary, the R2 for this whole regression model was .72, indicating that approximately 72% of the variance in salary level of the nurses was accounted for by the linear combination of these three independent variables, the size of hospitals, the characteristics of a fund, and nursing delivery system. Conclusion: Salary is a major part of human resource management and is compensation for the labor of nurses and is a motive to nurses. Each hospital's salary needs to be more affordable to nurses.

경영환경, 조직특성이 정보시스템의 전략적 활용에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Business Environment and Organizational Characteristics on the Strategic Use of Information Systems)

  • This study intends to find the empirical relationship between the environmental and organizational characteristics and the strategic use of information systems(SUIS). Sixty-five firms in Korea are surveyed and analyzed to understand the impact of these characteristics on SUIS. As environmental characteristics, we select dynamism, hostility, and heterogeneity. As organizational characteristics, we select centralization, formalization, and IS maturity. The result of correlation analysis shows that formalization and information systems maturity are correlated significantly with SUIS. The result of regression analysis reveals that formalization is a major determinant to influence on SUIS of organization. Also, additional analysis shows that service industry have higher extent of SUIS than manufacturing industry.

인터넷 쇼핑에서 의류제품 반품행동 결정요인 (A Study on the Determinant Factors on Return in Internet Clothing Purchase)

  • 본 연구는 점점 더 경쟁이 심화되고 있는 인터넷 의류시장에서 기업의 수익과 제품 관리에 영향을 미치는 소비자들의 반품행동에 관심을 갖고, 이들 반품에 영향을 미치는 결정요인 및 영향요인들의 경로관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 인터넷 의류구매경험이 있는 20대 및 30대 남녀 소비자 517명에게 설문조사를 하였다. 반품행동에 영향을 미치는 요인의 영향을 알아본 결과, 반품여부에는 위험지각, 정보탐색, 충동구매, 구매경험, 연령이 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 반품정도에는 충동구매, 구매경험, 성이 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나 위험지각, 정보탐색, 연령은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 반품의도에는 위험지각, 성, 연령의 영향은 유의하였으나 정보탐색, 충동구매, 구매경험의 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 반품행동에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 경로관계를 분석한 결과, 반품여부에는 위험지각이 정적으로 직접적 영향을 미치고 정보탐색은 직접적 영향뿐만 아니라 구매경험 및 충동구매를 통한 간접적 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 반품정도에는 위험지각의 영향은 없었고 정보탐색은 구매경험과 충동구매를 매개로 한 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑몰이 반품율을 감소시키고 반품정책을 수립하는데 필요한 소비자들의 반품행동특성을 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

회전체의 비틀림 고유진동 해석 (Analysis of Torsional Natural Viibration Characteristics of Rotors)

  • A method to estimate the torsional critical speed for practical rotors has been developed in this study. First, the rotor with a uniform shaft segment is modeled for undamped torsional motion analysis, while satisfying all the boundary conditions. This eventually generates governing equations for the torsional critical speeds of the system. The set of governing equations has the form of a sparse and banded matrix. The elements of banded matrix can be arranged in partitions, which correspond to the specific boundary of the rotor. This permits an automatic generation of the system matrix using a computer. In order to calculate the determinant generated by the simultaneous equations, which leads to the torsional critical speed, a recurring numerical algorithm for a (3*4) sub-matrix has been used. This numerical algorithm practically examines successive (3*4) sub-matrix, one at a time, instead of treating a huge matrix. The output of the program provides the mode shapes with continuous curves. The method has been implemented to three rotors given as examples : a simple rotor, Prohl's rotor, and Macmillan rotor.
