Aging Influence on Labor Productivity (고령화가 노동 생산성에 미치는 영향)

  • As aging society makes rapid progress, various social problems arise. The drop of productive labor and the increase of welfare cost can be taken as examples. From this point of view, a use of aged labor is a matter of great Important to national productivity improvement. But, the participation rate of the aged in economical activity amounts to 49.8 percent and their unemployment rate does 2.1 percent. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the deterioration of skill and the lowering of adaption to new working environments due to aging. Since the aging effect is closely related to worker's productivity, it should be properly measured and analyzed. The coordination tester is used to find out activity limitations. Experimental results show that the expert skill of the workers can be improved through the effective of their experience. Therefore we can say that some operation is not influenced by aging.

  • This paper describes the control charcteristics of thermal/flow systems. In thermal/flow systems, the transport lag plays as a dead time causing a deterioration of the controllability. Besides this, such many parameters including the temperature, pressure, and flow rate affect the system response that a control scheme which can deal with multi-input is required. Particularly in a refrigerant compressor test facility, the evaporator and condenser interact each other so that the change in the evaporator pressure cause the condenser pressure to change or vice versa. Therefore, to control the evaporator pressure, not only the cooling water flow rate in the evaporator but also the coolant flow rate in the condenser is considered. Meanwhile, the conventional PID controllers, which is suitable for a single input system, shows a large overshoot for a disturbance input. In this work, the predictive control scheme is introduced and its applicability is discussed for thermal/flow systems.

  • Most concrete is recently made of an aggregate which is properly absorbed, and carried in it in order to do capability at every fields. We have been close to demand new capability of high flowing and enduring for specific concretes. That is difficult to cope with claiming the efficiency on deterioration from lack of a high quality aggregate Therefore, For solving the problems we apply to a packing method for using dried materials. That is to say it is a kind of making into an instant. In this study, There is a purpose to present fundamental data, comparing and analyzing a phenomenon about aggregate's absorption following the rate of adding water, for using existing materials.

  • In urban area, since multipath and signal attenuations frequently occur due to street trees, street lights and buildings, it is difficult to obtain accurate navigation solution using GPS. As these problems also impact negatively on the INS/GPS coupled system, implementing advanced transportation systems such as autonomous navigation system and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) become quite hard. For this reason, to alleviate deterioration of navigation system performance in urban area, direction information extraction algorithm using vision system is proposed in this paper. 2D Finite Rate of Innovation (FRI) technique is applied to extract lane edges. The proposed technique is simulated using road images and feasibility of proposed technique is analyzed through the simulation results.

  • A microcomputer system consisting of 16-bit microcomputer, PCL-711S interface board, censors, and converters have been set up in order to automatically measure temperature, humidity and weight loss which are major variables of storage of apple. This system was operated by PC-LabDAS software. It has been possible to measure continuously the weight loss of Fuji apple stored in CA with the weight converter made by a miniature load cell and a strain amplifier. The temperature was checked by a k-type thermocouple and Pt 100 $\Omega$ RTD, and humidity by PQ653JAl humidity sensor. It has been possible to set up a linear equation which showers high correlationship between the estimate of temperature, weight humidity and the output of the converter in that r2 is more than 0.99. Transpiration rate, a significant factor of quality deterioration for CA storage of apple, can be estimated with these values.

  • Reinforcement corrosion is major problem for those who own and maintain reinforced concrete structures exposed to chlorides. It is well understood that the form of corrosion is more problematic than corrosion found elsewhere, Because concrete has no apparent signs that there is anything amiss until the process of deterioration is relatively far advanced. The objective of this research is to develop the ladder system which monitors the corrosion of reinforcing steels in concrete. This system can be used to assess the corrosion condition and corrosion rate of steel in concrete, which can give timely repair and strengthening of steel in concrete structure.

  • Rise in cutting force causes tool damage and worsens product quality resulting in machining accuracy deterioration. Especially, fragile material cutting brings about breakage of material and worsens product surface quality. In this study, we trace the locus of cutting force and examine the machined surface corresponding to the cutting force loci. and build up a monitoring system for deciding normal operation or not of cutting process.

  • This paper describes the design of an adaptive closed circuit anesthesia controller based on a multiplexed mass spectrometer system. The controller deals with measurement deterioration caused by measurement delay and rise time through a tong catheter as well as long sampling times due to the multiplexed measurements. Measurement data is extrapolated between sampling periods to increase the estimation convergence rate. A multiple-step-ahead predictive control algorithm is used to calculate intermediatc control inputs between sampling intervals. Simulations are used to validate the designed controller.

  • This paper estabilsh the systematical scheme that evaluates the operation frequencies of the MTT(Multiple Tie Tamper). An evaluation of the operation frequencies, covering 4 different permanent ways that are Kyungbu, Homan, Jungang and Youngdong, has been carried out using real track irregularities. The deterioration rate of track irregularities used to evaluate rational operation frequencies of MTT in a block of railway track. Furthermore, this paper provides the scheme that prevents damage due to excess using of MTT and to promote efficiency of MTT application.
