In this paper, we designed and built a system that is site manager can be monitored remotely to the growth of the fishery environment. To this end, modular distribution system and environmental monitoring of live fishery products. Simulation results, were building a purification system and the oxygen supply to the fishery living inside the container was to build a system that can be monitored in real time. As a result, it was able to raise the necessary environment for the storage and distribution of fisheries products. We constructed a monitoring system with database and communication environment and created the optimal environment suitable for growth with sensor. As a result, it was possible to monitor the environment for the storage and distribution of fishery products and to build a suitable fishery products management system.

This paper focused on problems of design, construction, and maintenance caused by construction implementation processes. They were analyzed through case study of structure safety diagnosis projects. From the case study, it is expected that the introduction of Construction Management from the first stage of procurement will improve construction cost increase or burden on small design company. It strengthens coherent management from design and source contractor selection to build review of responsibility. The coherency will prevent changes in designing or infirm unreliable construction. It is desirable that expert opinions are considered when structure changes and establishment occur and that, if necessary, actions such as source selection, periodic audits, and diagnosis arc checked and fed back to maintenance.

Since standardization project is composed of complicate system, such as vehicle, signal, electric power and railway, how to build management system of the project has influence on the success of the project for the first stage of the project. The computer system design tool supports to carry out requirement analysis, DB construction, and history and follow-up management efficiently. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the method to optimize schema using computer system design tool.

In this paper, design of efficient NDB(Network Data Base) for the activation plan of chain information network. Bidding systems in the domestic public construction work have been amended many times since the lowest-bidding system was implemented in 1951. However, this hasn't had much success. Competition in technical development among companies has declined as the contracts for buildings are given to company which submits the lowest price without considering traits of projects. In addition, as the construction market turns to the limitless competition system due to FTA(Free Trade Agreement), advanced techniques are needed to promote the national competitive power. Considering the needs of the times, Korean government announced that "Best Value Contract (Design-Bid-Build)" and "Bridging Contracts (Design-Build)" are included to 4 existing bidding systems in October 2007. Thus this study aims to suggest devised the evaluation criteria including major items for evaluating bidders, in order to establish and revitalize the best-value bid system successfully.

A new Layered Manufacturing(LM) system, named PaperMill, is developed applying micro milling technology. A micro endmill(127 11m in diameter) is introduced as the cutter of build material. The selected build material for this system is an adhesive-coated paper roll which provides advantages such as good bonding between layers, machinability, and low material cost. A 3-axis CNC controller and three step-motors are used for the movement of X-Y-Z table of the system. For simplicity of the control of mechanism, the control system for feeding the paper roll is uncoupled from CNC controller. Two code converters are developed for the toolpath generation of the new LM system. The NC converter generates a set of NC codes for PaperMill using commercial CAM software while the SML converter generates an NC code from Quickslice's SML format. The NC codes generated from the converters consist of a series of profile data and trigger code for paper feeding. Two sample gears were fabricated to prove the concept of the system, which shown that the dimensional errors of the fabricated gears is under 3.4 percent.

Following the successful entry of Korean builders into overseas construction markets, Korean architects have also become active abroad, and have expanded their market share centered on the Southeast Asia and Middle Eastern areas through Design-Build contracts. However, there have also been However, conflict can arise among the project applicants in the contract stage due to the special characteristics of overseas construction. This sometimes leads to the failure of a project. Using statistics and case studies, this study identified problems in the overseas construction market. It analyzed inefficient factors of the architectural design contract phase in the overseas through a survey and an interview of specialists. Based on the results, this study suggested a master architect system, and some resolutions to the problems of organizing an internal evaluation system. It is expected that the results can be used as practical data for companies that want to advance into the overseas market.

We build up distributed database of medical picture and design and realize H/W & S/W of special image workstation. We build up high speed image transmission system for distributed database and retrieval of various medical pictures in w ard through image transmission system and realize integrated image diagnosis. This system improves medical service by speedy diagnosis and enables more precise diagnosis by integrated image diagnosis through distributed database. In economical view this system curtails huge cost of film processing and transmission, which make medical expense cheaf, because it does not use film. We built up PACS in pediatric hospital of Seoul National University Hopital and tested the system with various medical pictures and showed that speedy integrated image diagnosis is possible.

The purpose of Computer Aided Design is to design good products as quickly as possible. To do this, it is important to reuse the old designs and build on them. Most engineering designers, therefore. hale studied methods for reusing old designs, and the results of their study hale been applied to new designs Unfortunately, this only involves reuse of geometric data without design knowledge. If they can design products with the geometric data, including design knowledge, of the old designed and share them through the Internet, design efficiency will be improved. In other words, one way to improve designer's productivity is to share design information that includes knowledge and scattered data across design offices. This paper introduces a shared design environment with distributed knowledge-base. A product design environment based on distributed knowledge-base is proposed, which integrates the CORBA, OLE and WWW as the network architecture, a 3D CAD system, and an expert system shell. A design example of the lens barrel of a projection television is implemented to verify the idea.
