텍스트마이닝을 활용한 패브릭 관련 DIY 의류 상품 현황 연구 (A study on the current status of DIY clothing products related to fabric using text mining)

  • This study aims to collect Big Data related to DIY clothing, analyze the results on a year-by-year basis, understand consumers' perceptions, the status, and reality of DIY clothing. The reference period for the evaluation of DIY clothing trends was set from 2012 to 2022. The data in this study was collected and analyzed using Textom, a Big Data solution program certified as a Good Software by the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA). For the analysis of fabric-related DIY products, the keyword was set to "DIY clothing", and for data cleansing following collection, the "Espresso K" module was employed. Also, via data collection on a year-by-year basis, a total of 11 lists were generated and the collected data was analyzed by period. The following are the findings of this study's data collection on DIY clothing. The total number of keywords collected over a period of ten years on search engines "Naver" and "Google" between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2022 was 16,315, and data trends by period indicate a continuous upward trend. In addition, a keyword analysis was conducted to analyze TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency), a statistical measure that reflects the importance of a word within data, and the relationship with N-gram, an analysis of the correlation concerning the relationship between words. Using these results, it was possible to evaluate the popularity and growing tendency of DIY clothing products in conjunction with the evolving social environment, as well as the desire to explore DIY trends among consumers. Therefore, this study is valuable in that it provides preliminary data for DIY clothing research by analyzing the status and reality of DIY products, and furthermore, contributes to the development and production of DIY clothing.

주택 트렌드 분석을 통한 공공주택 디자인 방향설정 연구 (A Study on the Design Directions for Public Housing through Trend Analysis in Housing)

  • 본 연구는 주택 트렌드를 분석하고, 이에 따른 공공주택의 디자인 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 인구 가구 변화, 사회 변화, 정책 제도 변화, 기술 변화 등의 주택 트렌드 영향요인을 분석하였으며, 공공주택 디자인 현황을 분석하고 전문가 의견수렴을 거쳐 앞으로 공공주택이 추구해야 할 디자인 방향을 제시하였다. 우리 사회는 인구성장률이 둔화되고 가구분화가 심화되고 있으며, 소득수준의 증가로 거주자의 다양한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 또한 지역별로 주거수요가 분명한 차이가 나타나고 있고, 중 소형 주택공급과 소규모 개발이 확대되고 있으며, IT와 녹색기술이 급속히 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 향후 주택 트렌드는 '수치제어에서 성능중심'으로, '중앙주도에서 지역중심'으로, '단위세대에서 도시중심'으로 전환되어야 한다. 현행 공공주택 디자인은 최근의 주택 트렌드를 반영하고 있으나, 주동수를 줄이고 중앙광장을 가운데 두면서 통경을 확보하는 계획경향이 대부분 나타났다. 이는 지역의 입지특성과 주거요구를 반영하는데 한계가 있으므로 앞으로 공공주택 디자인 과정에서 입지특성과 지역사회에 대한 고려가 요구된다. 이러한 결과를 종합하여 본 연구에서는 공공주택 디자인이 추구해야 할 기본방향을 '수요변화 대응', '입지특성 반영', '지역사회 연계', '녹색환경 구현', '주거성능 확보'의 5가지로 제시하였다.

  • This paper is to analyze the classification of textile pattern design focusing on the 19th century in England. The purpose of this study is. firstly to research the thoughts and ideas of these design in the time of mid-Victorian age; Secondly. to classify the textile pattern design from many points of view. We could find such William Morris's thought and ideas of 19th century to reform from textile pattern design. We wish to use these studies for textile pattern designers to develop this tradition onward to modern and future trends.

'정보시스템연구'의 연구주제와 서베이 방법론 동향분석 (Topic and Survey Methodological Trends in 'The Journal of Information Systems')

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to review topic and survey methodological trends in 'The Journal of Information Systems' in order to present the practical guidelines for the future IS research. By attempting to conduct a meta-analysis on both topic and survey methodological trends, this study could provide researchers wishing to pursue this line of work further with what can be done to improve IS disciplines. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we have reviewed 185 papers that were published in 'The Journal of Information Systems' from 2010 to 2018 and classified them based on topics studied and survey methodologies used. The classification guidelines, which was developed by Palvia et al.(2015), has been used to capture the topic trends. We have also employed Struab et al.(2004)s' guidelines for securing rigor of validation issues. By using two guidelines, this study could also present topic and rigor trends in 'The Journal of Information Systems' and compare them to those trends in International Journals. Findings Our findings have identified dominant research topics in 'The Journal of Information Systems'; 1) social media and social computing, 2) IS usage and adoption, 3) mobile computing, 4) electronic commerce/business, 5) security and privacy, 6) supply chain management, 7) innovation, 8) knowledge management, and 9) IS management and planning. This study also could offer researchers who pursue this line of work further practical guidelines on mandatory (convergent and discriminant validity, reliability, and statistical conclusion validity), highly recommended (common method bias testing), and optional validations (measurement invariance testing for subgroup analysis, bootstrapping methods for testing mediating effects).

해외 유명 브랜드의 의상 디자인 특성 (Design Properties of Clothing of Famous Overseas Brands)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide guidance to plan clothing design with an analysis of design property of famous overseas brands. For this purpose, the prt-a-porter fashion collection from 2001 S/S to 2005 F/W is divided into the following sectors: brands, years, and seasons, focusing on the design elements, with regards to the design property of clothing. The reference for the actual study was 1055 pictures of clothing that were collected of collections of famous overseas brand. The results of this study are as follows. With regard to the character of the clothing design classified by brand, the design property was embossed with all design elements. Therefore, we can use design elements to express design property, like clothing design of famous overseas brands. With regard to the changes of clothing design year by year, it was changed with almost all of the design elements. Therefore, it is noted that clothing design do well to reflect the fashion trends of the year with almost all design elements. With regard to design properties of seasonal clothing, clothing design properties which are popular in the S/S season are slim silhouette, see-thru material, brilliant material, abstraction pattern, and so on. On the other hand, clothing design properties which are popular in the F/W season are wide silhouette, hard material, complex material, complex pattern, inorganic decoration and so on. Therefore, it is noted that clothing design do well to reflect the seasonal trends.
