An Analysis on strategies of creativity in advertising design applicable to AIDA model (AIDA Model을 적용한 광고디자인의 표현전략분석)

  • This is a study for importance of creativity in design. In the modern industrial developments in Korea has brought increase of consumptional products, by this reason. we are interested in the advertising industry for purpose of booming currents. But Comparing with the development of general advertising industry, it is not so long that understanding of advertising design has become important problm and spacially importance of creativity. Therefore According as the usefulness of advertisement is growing, we are concerned of the study of advertising effects. Now creatived expression is required without a moment delay because of the point of discrimination about too many advertisements. So, Advertising design has a role of positive communication which is passed into the life of modern man deeply. So for the dffective and impactive communication in the short time and on the limit space against implicative message, the study for importance of creativity in advertising expression has common purpose contact floody advertising everyday. Therefore this thesis try to seek Strategies of creativity in order to effective advertising expression.

Method of Evaluation of the Strength Required in Current Seismic Design Code (현행 내진설계 규준에서 요구되는 수평강도의 평가 방법)

  • Current seismic design code is based of the assumption that the designed structures would be behaved inelastically during a severe earthquake ground motion. For this reason, seismic design forces calculated by seismic codes are much lower than the forces generated by design earthquakes which makes structures responding elastically. Present procedures for calculating seismic design forces are based on the use of elastic spectra reduced by a strength reduction factors known as "response modificaion factor". Because these factors were determined empirically, it is difficult to know how much inelastic behaviors of the structures exhibit. In this study, base shear forces required to maintain target ductility ratio were first calculated from nonlinear dynamic analysis on the single degree of freedom system. And then, base shear foeces specified in seismic design code compare with above results. If the strength(base shear) required strength should be filled by overstrength and/or redundancy. Therefore, overstrength of moment resisting frame structure will be estimated from the results of static nonlinear analysis(push-over analysis).analysis).

  • On BIPV systems, especially roof-top PV systems, the power generation is easier to be reduced due to the shades of facilities nearby, or roof itself. To secure profitability of roof-top PV systems, the optimal design of solar arrays through the precise shading analysis is an important item of design considerations. In this paper, an optimization system for array design of roof-top PVs is to be developed using three-dimensional Geospatial Information System(GIS). The profitability of income and expense is considered through the shading analysis of entire roofs. By applying the system to project for validation, the adequacy and the improvement of NPV of the system were verified compared to expert's design. The system has significance by reason that PV modules are placed through rules established with expert knowledge and geometric rules were applied to reflect the constructability and maintainability.

  • Viktor and Rolf, despite their short career in the field, has been continuously giving a fresh impact on fashion design by grafting a surrealistic approach to their design works. As a basis of this study, we review the features of surrealistic drawing and the surrealistic features expressed in surrealistic clothes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the surrealistic features detected in the clothes designed by Viktor and Rolf on the basis of the above standard and review and predict the future trend in fashion. As for the research method, we review the previous researches and analyze the drawing works by some representative surrealistic artists, in particular, Schiaparelli's clothes in the 1930s, the clothes of surrealistic trend since 2000, and Viktor & Rolf's clothes. The result of the analysis is as follows. The surrealistic features of Viktor & Rolf clothes can be found in the movement of natural objects, the movement of everyday materials, the movement of clothing items, and visual illusion on clothes. As a whole, the surrealistic features clearly stood out in their clothes. High technology will rapidly change the modern society and we humans are likely to resort to something fresh or different as our emotion and feelings are getting tired and weary. Something that stimulates our feeling and emotion hidden behind our reason or logic will be reflected in design far more than something complex and functional. For this reason, as it reveals human imagination inherently, surrealism is expected to establish itself as a mega trend in the future.

  • This study was to develop the design of briefs for elderly women, aiming at understanding about the briefs that the elderly women currently wear and helping them draw happiness from wearing clothes. This study, based on the data analyzing the physique of old women that was investigated by the previous study, targeted the elderly women living in Jeonbuk area to conduct the research into their physique, brieff that they prefer. The results of this study were as follows. First, the majority of the elderly women wore size 100 as looking into the size of briefs that elderly women put on and their physique. For the most part, they had relatively thinner waist compared to the belly and buttock. Second, they were found to have preference for briefs with narrow rubber band, and medium sized design that fit their line of buttock, waist and crotch, for reasons of the activity and comfort. Third, they were found to be generally happy with the briefs that they are currently wearing. Fourth, the factors leading elderly women to buy briefs were analyzed to come from the 4 considerations of beautiful appearance/customer service, practicality, economical reason/size and the comfortable feeling when wearing them. Among such factors, the greatest demand among those factors was the comfortable feeling they can have when they wear briefs, followed by the economical reason/size, practicality, beautiful appearance/customer service.

Investigation of PCT Behavior in IBLOCA Counterpart Tests between the ATLAS and LSTF Facilities (중형냉각재상실사고의 PCT에 대한 ATLAS와 LSTF 장치의 대응 실험 검토)

  • A comparison of CL 13% and 17% IBLOCA counterpart tests(CPTs) between the ATLAS and LSTF facilities was carried out and the behavior of peak cladding temperatures(PCTs) and related thermal hydraulic phenomena were investigated and discussed. There appeared quite a big difference in PCT behavior between the two CPTs and a further comparison of reactor coolant system design between the two facilities was performed. As a result, there was a difference in fuel alignment plate (FAP) design, e.g., one FAP in ATLAS, a combination of upper core plate and upper end box in LSTF, respectively. The FAP design mainly affects the reflux condensate behavior in IBLOCA tests and any difference in FAP design can be a possible reason for different PCT behavior between the two facilities. It should be a further study to find the reason of different PCT behvior between the two facilites.

  • This study pursues the problems of plan photogrammetry which is widely used in somatotyping at present, and find out a method which can improve accuracy of measurement on the basis of principles and mechanisms of photography-the basic foundation of the photographic analysis methods. As a result, this study proposes a new method which is based on the reference point method and perspective coordinate system. And the test measurement was operated to compare the measurement accuracy of the proposed method and the method based on reference grid screen method and perpendicular coordinate system which is commonly used at present. The result of this test measurement showed that the proposed method has higher accuracy. Two reasons can be pointed out for the improvement of measuring accuracy. The first reason is that the proposed perspective coordinate system reduces the perspective distortion of photography. And second reason is that measuring points can be closely placed to the scale and coordinate reference plan of measurement by the proposed reference point method which make possible to place measuring object (or person) at the center of scale and coordinate reference plan by utilizing reference points of measurement in the three dimensional space not on screen.

  • In order to analysis the reason of sliding failure in embankment slope under construction in soft soil area, a model section located in Gimhae Region in Gyeongsangnam-Do, where the sliding failure had been occurred during embankment works in soft soil area, had been selected. This area had been firstly treated with the Pack Drain Method, and additional embankment works of 9.7 meters out of total 14 meters in thickness had been under construction. The results of analysis showed that the reason of sliding failure were overspeed in embankment construction and the overestimation of design factors in calculating strength of each layer of embankment and poor management and inaccuracy reading of measurement devices.

  • The purpose of this research is to provide basic data for future home office design by surveying office workers' opinions about home-based working. The study is based on a survey done with 215 office workers in Seoul. The major findings are as follows. Home-based working is viewed as affirmative among office workers. Office workers thing that 3 days a week is desirable for working at home. The first reason why they want to work at home is 'having more free time for other interests,' the second one is 'being more creative or concentrating on work.'and the third one is 'reducing the stresses from the loaded tasks and relationships between colleagues'. While the first reason why they don't work at home is 'the notion that home is one thing and work is another.' the second one is 'lack of relationships between people.' and the third one is 'unable to concentrate on work because of many house chores.

  • This study is concerned with the relation between steelbelt width and belt edge separation of a tire. Belt edge separation causes tire burst and threatens passenger's safety. For the reason, it is important to predict durability caused by belt edge separation in the early stage of the tire structure design. Usually, passenger car tires have two layers of steelbelts having opposite steel cord's angles, which makes a shear behaviour between each belt layer. Shear behaviour is one of reason to cause belt edge separation. In this study, to predict belt edge separation, we suggested the prediction method of belt edge separation and evaluated the effect of steelbelt width on the belt edge separation using FEM. We also studied on main parameters to affect shear behaviour at the belt edge area.
