한국과 미국의 의료건축 설계 연구의 특성 비교 - KIHA와 HERD의 연구경향 분석을 중심으로 (Comparative Analysis of Healthcare Architecture Design Research between Korea and the United States - Centered on the Analysis of Research Trends in KIHA and HERD)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine the trends in healthcare architecture research by analyzing papers published in KIHA (Journal of the Korea Institute of Healthcare Architecture) and HERD (Health Environments Research and Design Journal) in the USA. The analysis categorizes these papers into Evidence-Based Design (EBD) and non-EBD research from a comparative perspective. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted on 370 papers published in KIHA and 399 papers published in HERD from 2007 to 2022. The research trends were analyzed based on the researchers' fields of study, research focus, and research attributes. Results: The findings indicate that HERD involves researchers from 43 different fields, whereas KIHA involves researchers from 16 fields, indicating less diversity. HERD predominantly includes interdisciplinary and empirical studies, while KIHA primarily features theoretical and single-discipline studies. Papers in HERD generally demonstrate a higher level of evidence compared to those in KIHA. Implications: Direct comparisons should be approached with caution due to the differing contexts of healthcare architecture research in the two countries. The methodological efforts in HERD and the functional analysis results in KIHA provide valuable references for the future direction of healthcare architecture research. Expanding collaborative and interdisciplinary research involving various professionals is essential to advance the field.

소형 아파트 주거환경의 유니버설 디자인 적용성 평가연구 - 전용면적 18평형 아파트를 중심으로 - (A Case Study on the Evaluation of Small-Sized Apartment Houses in aspects of Universal Design - Focused on the 18 pyung Apartment Houses -)

  • This study was intended to suggest that new small-sized apartment houses should be designed and provided on the base of the concept of universal design. This is based on the diversity of each resident, that is, resident of not as a family, but as an individual. On the background of this, this study evaluated the small-sized apartment house in aspects of universal design. The walk-through and the residents' evaluation were carried out by using 60 items related to the principles of universal design. The 18 pyung apartment complex and housing unit in Jangyou new town area was evaluated. Also, 100 residents living in that apartment housing unit were asked to evaluate these 60 items by using 5 point Likert scale. The walk-through with measuring and taking pictures was carried out by researchers. In general, the apartment house was not met the fundamental elements of universal design. Thus, it was not appropriate for the disabled or the elderly to live in. Specially, the door width of bathroom and kitchen balcony was too narrow to pass through. Also, the floor of entrance and bathroom was not flat, so that the wheelchair user cannot enter by alone. The residents evaluated negatively many items related to design, such as shape, color, and material. Therefore, in order to provide the living environments for diverse residents such as the elderly, or the disabled to live together, the new small-sized apartment houses should be designed on the base of the principles of universal design.

목재와 도자 소재의 융합적 접근에 의한 오브제 기능의 가구 연구 (A study on Furniture Design as Object by Fusion Approaching with Wood and Ceramics)

  • 본 연구에서는 심미적 기능의 오브제로서의 공예와 공간에서 실용적 기능으로서의 소재를 융합한 가구디자인으로 공간에서의 새로운 역할을 부여하기 위한 시도에 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 가구디자인은 목재와 도자 소재의 융합적 시도로서 그것이 가진 가치와 가능성을 보여준다. 연구의 범위와 방법은 도자인 예술 분야와 목공이라는 디자인 분야의 다른 재료 및 소재의 혼합과 연결되어 있다. 도자로 제작된 다리와 월넛 나무로 제작된 상판의 전혀 다른 소재가 어우러지도록 융합되어 제작한다. 직접 가구를 제작함에 있어 도자기가 쌓아진 형식을 차용한 도자 다리를 제작하여 시각적으로 제한된 기존 가구디자인과 차별된 디자인을 창출하고, 흙과 유약에서 보이는 색감과 질감으로 나무에서 얻을 수 없었던 색다른 느낌을 보여주어 가구와 그것이 놓인 공간의 신선한 어울림을 기대한다. 포스트모던 이후 디자인과 예술의 경계가 모호해지고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 가구 상판에 기능과 형상을 자유롭게 조화시킬 수 있는 개념의 현대의 다양성 그리고 가구와 오브제와의 역할에 대한 경향을 고려한 디자인을 제안하고자 한다.

훈련 자료의 임의 선택과 다중 분류자를 이용한 원격탐사 자료의 분류 (Classification of Remote Sensing Data using Random Selection of Training Data and Multiple Classifiers)

  • 이 논문에서는 원격탐사 자료의 분류를 목적으로 서로 다른 훈련 집단들과 분류자들로부터 생성된 분류 결과들을 결합하는 분류 틀을 제안하였다. 제안 분류 틀의 핵심 부분은 서로 다른 훈련 집단과 분류자들을 이용함으로써 분류 결과 사이의 다양성을 증가시켜서 결과적으로 분류 정확도를 향상시키는데 있다. 제안 분류 틀에서는 우선 서로 다른 샘플링 밀도를 가지는 서로 다른 훈련 집단들을 생성한 후에, 이들을 서로 다른 구분 능력을 나타내는 분류자들의 입력 훈련 자료로 사용한다. 그리고 초기 분류 결과들에 다수결 규칙을 적용하여 최종 분류 결과를 얻게 된다. 다중 시기 ENVISAT ASAR 자료를 이용한 토지 피복 분류사례 연구를 통해 제안 방법론의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 사례 연구에서 3개의 훈련 집단과 최대우도 분류자, 다층 퍼셉트론 분류자, support vector machine 등과 같은 3개의 분류자를 이용한 9개의 분류 결과를 결합하였다. 사례 연구 결과, 제안 분류 틀 안에서 토지 피복 구분에 관한 상호 보완적인 정보의 이용이 가능해져서 가장 높은 분류 정확도를 나타내었다. 서로 다른 결합들을 비교하였을 때, 다양성이 크지 않은 분류 결과들을 결합한 경우에는 분류 정확도의 향상이 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 다중 분류 시스템의 설계시 분류자들의 다양성을 확보하는 것이 중요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 DS/CDMA 신호 환경에서 동작하는 배열 안테나 시스템에서 다이버시티 이득을 이용하여 동기 성능을 향상시키는 탐색기를 제안한다. 제안한 PN 동기 검출 방법은, 대부분의 CDMA 기반 신호 환경에서 각 안테나 소자에 유기되는 간섭자의 실수-부 성분과 허수-부 성분이 서로 독립적인 가우시안 채널로 모델링할 수 있다는 사실에 근거를 둔다. 제안한 PN 동기 검출 방법은, 모든 PN 위상 오프셋에서 동기 에너지 값을 구하기 위해, 다수의 수신 신호를 안테나 별로 수신기의 PN과 독립적으로 코릴레이션하여 non-코히런트하게 선형 결합하는 단계인 검색 (searching) 단계와 구한 동기 에너지 값을 락-검출기에서 설정한 최적 기준값과 비교하여 동기 성공 여부를 판단하는 증명 (verification) 단계로 이루어진 single-dwell 방식이다. 본 논문에서는 평균 PN 동기 획득 시간 (Mean Acquisition Time)을 결정짓는 중요한 요소인 다이버시티 이득의 영향에 대해서 분석한다 일반적으로, 평균 PN 동기 획득 시간은 배열 안테나 소자의 수가 증가할수록 감소한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나, 다이버시티 차수 증가에 의한 PN 동기 획득 성능 개선은 포화된다. 따라서, 배열 안테나 수신기에서는 수신기의 동작 SNR 범위와 목표 검출 확률 $P_D$ 및 오-경보 확률 $P_{FA}$를 고려하여, 평균 PN 동기 획득 시간을 최소화하기 위한 최적의 배열 안테나 설계가 필요하다. 제안한 PN 동기 검출 방법의 성능은 주파수 선택적 레일레이 페이딩 채널에서 분석하였으며, 기존 단일 안테나에서의 PN 동기 획득 방법보다 우수함을 검출 확률 $P_D$ 및 오-경보 확률 $P_{FA}$항목에서 검증하였다.

소재부품 중소기업 수출성과의 선행요인 경로 및 사회적 자본의 조절효과 분석 (An Analysis on Antecedents Path of Export Performance and Moderating Effects of Social Capital in Materials and Components SMEs)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the moderating effects of social capital on antecedents factors path of export performance in the materials and components SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) of Busan and Kyungnam region. In case of materials and components SMEs, they are always trying to achieve business performance including export sales and market share, but it is difficult for them to increase performance due to the limitation of inner & tangible resources. Therefore intangible asset such as technology capability and its antecedents factors which are technology innovation and learning orientation are getting more important to SMEs. In addition, it is supposed that social capital such as local network including distribution channel in overseas market plays an essential role to enhance export performance. Accordingly, the main goal of this study is to find out the relationship between export performance and antecedents factors and the validity of social capital as a moderating valuable. Research design, data, and methodology - Technology innovation, learning orientation and technology capability have been used as antecedents factors for export performance and social capital such as network diversity and intensity has been used for moderating effects analysis. In order to select these valuables mentioned above, this study examined the existing researches on a basis of Resources Based View, Organizational Learning Theory and Social Capital theory. To achieve the objective of this paper, 7 hypotheses including the moderating effects have been proposed with 6 potential variables measured by 24 questions. The survey was carried out from December 2014 to March 2015 and 137 samples out of total 175 were selected for the analysis. PLS(Partial Least Squares) has been used for the methodology of empirical analysis for both antecedents factors path and moderating effects. Results - Research findings are as follows. First, technology innovation has a significant impact on learning orientation, learning orientation has a positive effect on the technology capability and technology capability also has a significant impact on export performance. Therefore 3 valuables are proved as antecedents factors of export performance. Second, the social capital(both network diversity and intensity) plays a moderating role with learning orientation to technology capability. However, there is no moderating effects between both of social capital and technology capability regarding export performance. Conclusions - According to path analysis results, it is suggested that the materials and components SMEs should raise technology innovation and learning orientation in order to improve technology capability and export performance. Meantime, the moderating effect analysis shows that SMEs should consider local network diversity and intensity along with learning orientation to add up technology capability. But local network diversity and intensity does not work systematically with technology capability for export performance and it means that SMEs should find the appropriate local partners for the purpose of establishing concrete distribution channels based on marketing perspective, not for improving technology capability.

새로운 방송 서비스로의 이전 : 이주 이론을 통한 MCN으로 전환의도 연구 (A Study on Switching Intention of Broadcasting Service to MCN Service by Migration Theory)

  • Purpose - The Millennial Generation, which grew in the wake of the spread of the Internet and rapid changes in the media environment, is rapidly moving from the traditional broadcasting environment to the Internet-broadcasting environment in terms of content acceptance. With the emergence of UGC (User-generated content), the change in the status of single-person content creators enables the growth of multi-channel networks (MCN), a new content-distribution platform and an agency concept for single creators. Youtube-based MCN produces multiple single star producers and casts and provides its own video series through Youtube. It is also emerging as a major M&A target for global media providers in terms of providing content to a wide range of consumers with the same interests and consumption characteristics. In addition, for the Millennials generation, which are part of their lives, MCN is becoming the most suitable media for TGIF (Twitter, Google, i-phone, Facebook). Accordingly, this study defines newly emerging MCNs and analyzes the factors for accepting MCN-produced content based on the push-pull-mooring (PPM) model. Research design, data, and methodology - An empirical analysis is performed through a questionnaire survey. For this purpose, 204 people who have experience of watching MCN were studied. Collected data is processed through analysis of a structural equation model using R to test the hypothesis. Results - For the MCN service to become an alternative to existing media, it is necessary to continuously promote cultural diversity and diversity of attempts that conventional media cannot provide. It is the attractiveness of the alternative that has the greatest influence on the intention to switch to a MCN service. When we look at MCN content so far, certain patterns such as game progress, introduction, food, and chat rooms have already appeared. We need to overcome this and develop a completely new conceptual content that we have never seen before. This requires a more generous viewer perception of the topics covered. For diversity, linguistic and verbal violence should be tolerant in common sense to provide a foundation for securing cultural diversity. Conclusions - In this study, we tried to develop a comprehensive approach to the substitution effect of MCN. In terms of academic achievement, the PPM model is used to enhance the utilization of media and broadcasting. Practical implications are to provide an analytical framework for verifying alternative or complementary effects when viewers switch to MCN.

공익 선택에 따라 공익 다양성과 적합성이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Cause Diversity and Fit on Purchase Intention According to Choice of Cause)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of choice of cause on the purchase intention by dividing it into the situation selected by the consumer and the company. This study also examines the moderating effect of cause options diversity and company-cause fit on the relationship between choice of cause and purchase intention. This will provide the theoretical information necessary to gain an in-depth understanding of the consumer's intention to purchase the cause-related marketing campaign, and in practice, it is expected that companies will be able to obtain useful information for effective planning and execution of the cause-related marketing campaign. Research design, date, and methodology - This study's survey was carried out on the college students of university located in Shandong, China. It was from November 4-11, 2018, and a total of 440 questionnaires were distributed, with 424 collected. Of them, effective questionnaires used in the final study were a total of 400 except 24 that couldn't be used. In this study, empirical analysis was done with frequency analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and simple effect analysis by using Statistics Package SPSS 20.0. Results - The results are reported below: first of all, in the cause-related campaign consumers are more willing to buy the products when they are allowed to choice the focal cause of charity than when the company selects the cause of charity. Furthermore, the positive effect of allowing consumers to choice the cause of charity (vs. company choice) on purchase intentions is greater for high cause diversity to select. Finally, the positive effect of allowing consumers to choice the cause of charity (vs. company choice) on purchase intentions is greater when perceived fit between the company and the cause charity is low. Conclusions - This study extends the scope of the consumer perspective from consumer purchase intention research to the choice of cause in the cause-related marketing. When consumers select the cause, it would be better to provide the cause charity in diversifying selection and provide options for low fit between company and cause charity.

Generation, Diversity Determination, and Application to Antibody Selection of a Human Naïve Fab Library

  • We constructed a large $na{\ddot{i}}ve$ human Fab library ($3{\times}10^{10}$ colonies) from the lymphocytes of 809 human donors, assessed available diversities of the heavy-chain variable (VH) and ${\kappa}$ light-chain variable (VK) domain repertoires, and validated the library by selecting Fabs against 10 therapeutically relevant antigens by phage display. We obtained a database of unique 7,373 VH and 41,804 VK sequences by 454 pyrosequencing, and analyzed the repertoires. The distribution of VH and VK subfamilies and germline genes in our antibody repertoires slightly differed from those in earlier published natural antibody libraries. The frequency of somatic hypermutations (SHMs) in heavy-chain complementarity determining region (HCDR)1 and HCDR2 are higher compared with the natural IgM repertoire. Analysis of position-specific SHMs in CDRs indicates that asparagine, threonine, arginine, aspartate and phenylalanine are the most frequent non-germline residues on the antibody-antigen interface and are converted mostly from the germline residues, which are highly represented in germline SHM hotspots. The amino acid composition and length-dependent changes in amino acid frequencies of HCDR3 are similar to those in previous reports, except that frequencies of aspartate and phenylalanine are a little higher in our repertoire. Taken together, the results show that this antibody library shares common features of natural antibody repertoires and also has unique features. The antibody library will be useful in the generation of human antibodies against diverse antigens, and the information about the diversity of natural antibody repertoires will be valuable in the future design of synthetic human antibody libraries with high functional diversity.

현대 직물디자인에 나타난 절충주의적 경향과 특징 (Eclectic Trends and Characteristics in Modern Textile Design)

  • 새로운 미의식의 창조를 위해 이질적이고 대립적인 요소를 융합 혼합하는 절충주의는 다양성, 다원화에 기초하므로서 개성화, 다양화를 추구하는 현대인의 요구에 부합되어 각광 받고 있다. 본 연구는 현대직물디자인에 표현된 절충주의 양식을 파악하기 위하여 현대예술분야를 통해 그 특성을 규명하고 이를 직물디자인에 적용시켜 새로운 경향이 제시한 미적 효과와 조형적 특성을 고찰하므로서 현대직물디자인의 변화양상을 이해하고자 하였다. 연구결과 현대 직물디자인에 나타난 경향은 다음의 3개로 구별되는데, 1) 문화적 절충에 의한 고급문화와 저급문화의 복합, 2) 시대적 절충에 의한 다양한 시대적 감각의 융합, 3) 지역적 절충에 의한 지역적 특성의 혼합으로 나타나며, 이러한 경향으로 본 직물디자인의 특징은 1) 직물디자인에 대한 시각의 전환을 가져왔고, 2) 유희적 표현을 중시하였으며 3) 다문화적 표현이 강조되고 있다. 이와 같이 직물디자인의 절충주의적 경향은 다변화되고 있는 현대 사회를 대변해주고 미래 직물디자인을 위한 하나의 가능성을 제시하여 주므로서 이에 대한 연구는 지속적으로 필요하다.
