예인윈치의 설계 및 실험적 검증 (Design and Experimental Verification on a Towing Winch)

  • This paper contains the design specification and detail design for a towing winch system. We analyze operating condition of the system and decide the design specification for the winch system, and also perform a detail design for the subsystem such as hydraulic winch system, control equipment and power supplier at the full scale development. The performance of designed towing winch is established by load tests and sea trial tests.

  • 소프트웨어를 개발할 때 작성되는 명세서들은 개별특성으로 인해 연속적인 자동화가 이루어지지 않으며, 소프트웨어 감리에서도 많은 불일치 항목이 발견된다. 본 논문에서는 분석 및 설계단계에서 작성되는 명세서간 일관성 유지를 위하여 감리관련자료를 분석하여 불일치 항목 분류기준을 설정한다. 이를 기초로 명세서 불일치 항목 추출 방법을 제안한다. 이를 이용하면, 분석 및 설계단계에서 작성되는 명세서의 오류를 줄임으로써 최종산출물인 소프트웨어에 대한 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • This paper reviews various CAD(Computer-Aided design) or DA(Design Automation) procedures for specification, design and verification of VLSI chips. The growth and widening of engineering achievements and applicational varieties in this revisited field has been truly explosive for the last five years. Recent trends in VLSI/CAD area and their possible implications on the future evolution of DA society are briefly touched upon. The relative importance of chip specification and design capability within the whole Korean electronics infrastructure in the future is explained with several possible suggestions for coping with upcoming difficulties already being seen in this challenging yet promising area.

BIM 기반 건축법규 자동검토를 위한 사전정의서 개발 (Development of Pre-Specification for BIM-based Automated Building Code Checking)

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been adopted in variety domain of construction industry. In this circumstances, interest of BIM model quality has been increased. In many countries, automated building code checking system by Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) has been developed and studied to use web based building permission systems. IFC is international standard of BIM format. However, the data structure of IFC does not include all of objects and properties about national building codes. In this paper, we developed the information specification between IFC data structure and national building code to increase interoperability. First, we drew the criteria from literature review to analyze the building code. And then, we analyzed building code and sorted objects and properties for automated building code checking. After that we made mapping table between the sorted data and IFC specification. Using the mapping table, we developed pre-specification about building codes information that does not exist in IFC specification. And the defined information can be used to develop the BIM modeling guide and national building permission system. The pre-specification support increasing the interoperability between user and automated building code checking system. Increasing thee interoperability makes improvement accuracy and reliability about result of automated building code checking.

남북한 도로교 설계트럭하중 분석 (Study on Design Vehicle Loads of South and North Korean Highway Bridges)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to analyze different vehicle load effects for a bridge design of South and North Korea in order to prepare a common design specification and to secure the safety of transportation when the highway bridges of South and North Korea use together. METHODS: Based on the literature review, this study considers vehicle load effects by comparing different characteristics of the standard vehicle and other differences of the bridge design specification between South and North Korea. And structural modeling of three-span continuous PSC Beam Bridge are analyzed and the bridge capacity according different vehicle loads of South and North Korea is evaluated. RESULTS: The result of this study indicates that the bridge capacity and the design vehicle weight of North Korea are smaller than the bridge capacity and the design vehicle weight of South Korea. Also this study demonstrates that the design vehicle array and other characteristics of North Korea are very different than the design vehicle array and other characteristics of South Korea. CONCLUSIONS: It is expected that the outcomes of this study can be useful in the set-up of South-North Bridge Specification because similar previous studies are rarely found.

  • This paper presents design and characteristics analysis of transverse flux switched reluctance generator(TFSRG) for wind turbine. Dimension is calculated by using output equation and maximum magnetomotive force(mmf) equation per pole. Design specification within effective range of mechanical and electrical energy is suggested in order to perform the analysis. it is confirmed to torque, inductance and induced electromotive force(emf) for one phase through three dimension Finite Element Analysis. Then design specification can be verified by comparing with proposed specification.

  • Hardware formal verification involves the use of analytical techniques to prove that the implementation of a system confroms to the specification. The specification could be a set of properties that the system must have or it could be an alternative representation of the system behavior. We can represent our behavioral specification to be written in VHDL coding. In this paper, we proposed a new hardware design verification method. For theis method, we assumed that a verification pattern already exists and try to make an algorithm to find a place where a design error occurred. This method uses an hierarchical approach by making control flow graph(CFG) hierarchically. From the simulation, this method was turned out to be very effective that all the assumed design errors could be detected.

  • As distributed computing systems become popular, many modeling techniques and methods have been developed in specify the specification formally and verify the distributed/concurrent sytems. In spite of importance of communication in distributed object-oriented systems, specifying of communication method generally has not been emphasized in the design phase. One reason is due to the system designer misunderstanding, that is, a specification needs to be independent on the implementation. However, since defining communication pattern indistributed object-oriented systems is more serious than the required message passing method in the design phase. specifying the communication pattern is necessary instead of postponing until the implementation. In this paper, two formal specification techniques, temporal logic method and Petri nets method, for the communication in distributed systems are discussed. One is based on the temporal logic, which specifies the different patterns of primitive predicates. This method enable to define the underlying mechanism which can be interpreted as constraints. The Petri net method helps to specify the dynamic behavior of communicational patterns using the properties of Petri nets.
