  • Rock mass classifications have played an indispensable role in underground construction for several decades. An important issue in rock mass classifications is the selection of the parameters of greatest significance. There appears to be no single parameter that can fully describe a jointed rock mass for underground construction design. In this paper. We find some problems shen applied rock mass classification for underground construction in domestic, analyze the most significant parameters and parameters correlation influencing the behavior of a rock mass, and suggest the Simplied Rock Mass Rating system based on RMR method for effective underground supports.

  • A New environment SENSATION for circuit optimization and statistical analysis has been developed. It provides real time simulation and includes automatic algorithms to assist for reaching optimal solution. Furthermore, statistical analysis environment is presented which aids in Monte Carlo analysis. worst case corner analysis, and sensitivity analysis. These capabilities faciliate the characterization of the effects of several operating conditions and manufacture process paramenters on the design performances. We verify that the proposed methods can obtain the optimal solution of the objective function through several experimental results.

디자인 인공물을 매개로한 질문 중심의 창의성 개발 (Question-Centered Creativity Development Mediated by Design Artifacts)

  • Key objective of cornerstone design is that students are able to experience developing creative design concepts through team activities, but the objective is hard to achieve. Based on a study of research materials, this paper asserts that the possibilities of creative problem solving can be promoted in question-centering ideation model if design artifacts are represented in some forms that could invoke design thinking and then the solution space is appropriately established. In particular, design problem on which divergent questions are asked should be explored and defined so that it can be a linguistic artifact represented by various visual aids. It is recommended that curriculum is modified so that students can experience creative conceptual design.

Interpreting Conservativeness in Design Criteria for Flexural Strengthening of RC Structures Using Externally Bonded FRP

  • This paper presents the influence of various flexural strengthening design criteria specified by three important design guidelines (ACI440, TR55, FIB14) on the resulting strength, ductility and conservativeness of FRP strengthened RC elements. Various generalised mathematical relations in non-dimensional form are presented that can be employed to develop design aids for the FRP-strengthening process. A design methodology is prescribed based on these equations enabling the designer to optimally and intuitively incorporate sufficient ductility while designing for strength. In order to better interpret conservativeness within design codes, four distinct levels of embedded conservativeness are identified, which cover the entire range of sources of conservativeness. Finally, a detailed parametric study is presented, using the proposed design equations and methodology, to determine the influence of each of these four levels of conservativeness on final design solutions. Specific criteria that are useful while calibrating design guidelines are also presented.

HIV/AIDS 감염인에 대한 차별의식에 미치는 영향의 중고등학생 간 비교: 에이즈 낙인의 매개효과 (Discriminatory Attitudes towards IV/AIDS (PWHAs) Patents by Middle and High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 서울시 중고등학생을 대상으로 인구학적 특성, 에이즈감염경로지식, 동성애자에 대한 태도, 에이즈 낙인, 에이즈 감염인에 대한 사회적 거리감 사이의 인과구조를 집단별로 규명하기 위한 것이다. 중학교 8개교, 고등학교 8개교에 배포된 설문지는 3,370부 중 수거된 설문지는 3,135였고, 불성실한 설문지 34부를 제외한 총 3,101부(98.9%)가 분석에 사용되었고, 유효하지 않은 사례는 일률적(listwise)으로 제거하여 유효사례 수는 2,977부였다. 분석방법으로 탐색적 요인분석(EFA), 확인적 요인분석(CFA), 공변량 구조분석 등을 시도하였고, 모형을 추정하기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 사용하였다. 모형검증의 추정결과, 첫째, 중학생과 고등학생 간에 에이즈 차별의식의 구성개념인 에이즈 낙인과 에이즈 감염인에 대한 사회적 거리감에서 뚜렷한 차이를 보이고 있었다. 둘째, 에이즈 낙인에 대한 의생변인인 동성애자에 대한 태도는 중학생(${\beta}=.407$), 고등학생(${\beta}=.401$) 모두 강한 정(+)의 인과적 영향을 보였으며, 셋째, 에이즈 감염인에 대한 사회적 거리감의 외생변인인 동성애자에 대한 태도는 중학생(${\beta}=.108$), 고등학생(${\beta}=.080$) 모두 약한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 넷째, 에이즈 감염경로 지식은 중학생(${\beta}=.313$), 고등학생(${\beta}=.301$) 모두 강한 정(+)의 인과적 영향을 미쳤고, 다섯째, 에이즈 감염인에 대한 사회적 거리감에 영향을 미치는 외생변인인 에이즈 감염경로 지식은 중학생(${\beta}=.160$), 고등학생(${\beta}=.134$) 모두 정(+)의 인과적 영향을 미쳤다. 여섯째, 에이즈 감염인에 대한 사회적 거리감에 영향을 미치는 외생변인인 에이즈 낙인은 중학생(${\beta}=.616$), 고등학생(${\beta}=.692$) 모두 강한 정(+)의 인과적 영향을 미쳤다. 이상의 분석결과 에이즈 감염인에 대한 낙인 및 사회적 거리감을 해소하기 위해서는 에이즈 지식 중 감염경로에 대한 지식을 높이고, 에이즈를 동성애자의 병으로 바라보는 시각을 해소시키는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • This paper descirbes some research of Computer-aided Design of multi-stage cold forging die of rotationally symmetric parts produced by the press or former. An approach to the system is based on knowledge based system. Knowledges for tool design are extracted from the plasticity theory, handbooks, relevent references and empirical know-how of experts in cold forging companies. The deveoped system is composed of three main modules such as die design module, punch design module, tool elements design module which are sued independently or in all. Using this system, design parameters (types of dies, geometric shapes and dimensions of dies, types of punches, geometric shapes and dimensions of punches, geometric shapes and dimensions of tool elements) in each operation are determined and the output is generated in graphic form. The develpoed system, aids designer, provides powerful capability for designing dies, punches and tool elements.

  • This paper describes some research of Computer-Aided Process Planning and Die Design of Hot Forging for axisymmetric parts produced by the press. An approach to the system is based on knowledge based system. The system has been written in AutoLisp with personal computer. Knowledges for process planning & die design are extracted from the plasticity theories, handbooks, relevent references and empirical know-how of field experts in hot forging companies. The developed system is composed of five main modules, such as input module, process planning module, die design module, flow simulation module and output module which are used independently or in all. The final output is generated in graphic from. The developed system which aids designer provides powerful capabilities for process planning and die design of hot forging. This system also provides approximate flow pattern.

  • 본 연구에서는 Parwan CPU를 VHDL을 이용하여 Behavioral Leve에서 기술하고 Dataflow LEVEL에서 상호 연결하여 기술하였고, Test-bench 방식을 이용하여 프로세서의 동작을 확인하기 위해 시뮬레이션 하였다. 제시된 방식은 설계의 정보교환이 용이하고 동작의 표현이 정확하고 간결하였으며, 설계의 문서화가 용이하며, 구성된 프로세서의 동작을 확인하기가 용이하였다. VHD교의 Behavioral 기술은 설계자에게 설계된 시스템을 확인할 때 많은 도움을 주었으며. Dataflow 기술은 설계의 버스연결과 레지스터 구조를 확인할 때 유용하게 사용할 수 있었다.

  • An automatic design method of behaviors in behavior-based robotics is proposed. With this method, a robot can design its behaviors by itself without aids of human designer. Automating design procedure of behaviors can make the human designer free from somewhat tedious endeavor that requires to predict all possible situations in which the robot will work and to design a suitable behavior for each situation. A simple reinforcement learning strategy is the main frame of this method and the key parameter of the learning process is significant change of reward value. A successful application to mobile robot navigation is reported too.

  • The CAD/CAM System for deep drawing transfer die tin mechanical press process has been developed. The developed CAD system can generate the drawing of transfer die in mechanical press. Using thee results from CAD system, it can generate the NC data to machine die's elements on the CAD system. This system can reduce design man-hour an human errors. In order to construct the system, it is used to automated the design process and generate the NC data using concepts of the designing rule and the machining rule. The developed system is based on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's technology in the practice field. Using AutoLISP language under the AutoCAD system, CTK customer language of SmartCAM is used as the overall CAD/CAM environment. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and manufacturer in this field.
