This research deals with an object-oriented task description(OOTD) method to solve problems such as being hard to understand and a lack of description in existing task description methods. The OOTD method includes an object-oriented task structure diagram and an object-oriented task attribute diagram. The former shows some relationship between a task and a derived task. The latter includes important attributes to define each task. Finally, a sample case is introduced to show how efficient these two diagrams are for the task description.

Shape description is an important and fundamental issue in content-based image retrieval (CBIR), and a number of shape description methods have been reported in the literature. For shape description, both global information and local contour variations play important roles. In this paper a new included-angular ternary pattern (IATP) based shape descriptor is proposed for shape image retrieval. For each point on the shape contour, IATP is derived from its neighbor points, and IATP has good properties for shape description. IATP is intrinsically invariant to rotation, translation and scaling. To enhance the description capability, multiscale IATP histogram is presented to describe both local and global information of shape. Then multiscale IATP histogram is combined with included-angular histogram for efficient shape retrieval. In the matching stage, cosine distance is used to measure shape features' similarity. Image retrieval experiments are conducted on the standard MPEG-7 shape database and Swedish leaf database. And the shape image retrieval performance of the proposed method is compared with other shape descriptors using the standard evaluation method. The experimental results of shape retrieval indicate that the proposed method reaches higher precision at the same recall value compared with other description method.

This study was done to review problems in terms of statistical description and statistical application and analysis. Methods; The authors reviewed 42 statistical clinical study papers excluding 12 Overview papers, 75 Descriptive papers, 48 Animal studies out of 177 papers in the Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry in the 5 years from 2002 to 2006. Results : 1) 3 papers(7.1%) had no description of statistical method, only P-values, 25 papaers(59.5%) had tables without description of statistical method, 1 paper (2.3%) had no description of statistical method in study method. 2) 10 papers(23.8%) contained problems in terms of statistical application and analysis. 6papers (6/23, 26.0%) for Student t-test, 2 papers(2/7 28.6%)for $X^2$- test, 1 paper(1/15 6.7%) for the analysis of variance, 1 paper(1/6 16.7%) for Pearson correlation contained statistical problems. Conclusion : It was suggested that consultation of investigators with statisticians and more extensive statistical refereeing, the form of the guidelines for description and application of statistics are needed.

반도체 IP를 재사용하여 통합 칩을 개발하기 위해서는 반도체 IP 인터페이스의 정확한 이해가 필수적이다. 그러나 이들 인터페이스는 대부분 원래 설계자의 스타일대로 기술되어 있는데다가 기술 방법이 제각각이어서 통합 칩 설계자가 이해하는데 많은 혼란이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 반도체 IP 인터페이스를 기술하는 표준화된 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기술 방법은 반도체 IP 인터페이스를 IP 정보, 기술 수준, 모델 제공, 데이터 타입, 인터페이스 정보, 포트 정보, 신호 정보, 프로토콜 정보, 소스 파일의 9개 항목으로 나누어 정의한다. 제안된 방법은 통합 칩 설계자가 반도체 IP의 인터페이스를 이해하고 통합 칩을 구현하는데 도움이 된다.

다중 채널을 위한 다중 기술 부호화는 복호기가 채널의 일부분의 정보만 수신함으로서 유용한 영상 복원을 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 새롭게 설계된 EZW 부호기를 이용하여 효율적인 다중 기술 부호기를 제안한다. 먼저 확장된 문턱값과 두 번의 부과정을 거치는 EZW 부호기를 설계하고, 이 부호기를 이용하여 두 개의 부호 채널을 가지는 다중 기술 부호기를 제안한다. 제안된 부호기의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 두 개의 채널과 두 개의 기술을 가지는 영상 압축 실험을 행하고 이를 최근에 보고된 결과와 비교하였다. 폴리 페이즈 변환을 사용한 결과와 비교하여 제안 부호기의 성능이 더 우수함을 볼 수 있었다.

Purpose: The ultimate aim of the inquiry was to discover the essence of nurse's experience and promote understanding. Method : Guided by Colaizzi's method - 1. Description of the phenomena of interest by the reader. 2. collection of subject's description of the phenomena, 3. Reading all the subject's descriptions of the phenomenon, 4. Returning the original transcripts and extracting significant statements, 5. Trying to spell out the meaning of each significant statements, 6. Organizing the aggregate formalized meanings into clusters of themes. 7. Writing an exhaustive description, 8. Returning to the subjects for validation of the description, 9. If new data fare revealed during the validations incorporating them into an exhaustive description. The participants in this study were eight are nurses working for clinics. This strategies for data collecting were needed : deep face to face interview. Results : 6 cluster of themes are : 1. the heavy pressure, 2. the pride and the royal summons, 3. the powerlessness, 4. the hope, 5. the tiresome. 6. the distressed feeling. Conclusion : The results of the this study would help us to understand nurses in clinics, make direction for nursing education, and identify need for continuing inquiry.

본 논문은 조선시대에 서호수(徐浩修)가 정조의 왕명으로 편찬한 분류순 해제목록인 "규장총목(奎章總目)"의 목록기술방식에 대해 연구한 것이다. 목록기술은 표제, 책수, 저작시대 및 생존연대, 저자명, 저작역할어, 기타 특기할만한 목록기술 사례 등으로 구분하여 각각의 특성을 살펴보았다. 이 "규장총목"은 상당히 통일성을 갖춘 목록기술방식을 설정하여 저록을 작성하였다는 점에서 한국목록기술사상 큰 의미를 부여할 수 있겠다.

북미 기록학계는 1990년대 전자기록, 2000년대 초 전자기록의 진본성 문제를 다루었고 최근에 들어 미시적이고 문화적 담론을 인식한 연구의 흐름이 나타나고 있다. 이것을 기록학의 패러다임 전환이라고 부를 수 있다. 이는 정보화와 기술(technology)에 영향에 따른 것이기도 하다. 그러나 최근 미시적 문화적 담론을 인식한 커뮤니티 아카이브, 일상 아카이브 등은 포스트모더니즘의 영향으로 기록문화나 역사가 갖는 개별적 특수성을 인정해야 한다는 발상에서 비롯된 것이라 봐야한다. 즉 일상, 마을, 커뮤니티 아카이브는 기왕의 기록학 담론에서 배제되고 소외된 목소리들을 기록으로 남기려는 노력이다. 하지만 이러한 전환된 인식을 바탕으로 커뮤니티 아카이브를 기록화하기 위한 현재 존재하고 있는 방법론은 제한적이다. 특히 기술(description)은 공공영역에서 이용하고 있는 여러 표준들을 그대로 적용하고 있다. 기술표준을 통해서는 커뮤니티 및 커뮤니티 아카이브가 가지고 있는 특수성과 개별성을 반영하지 못한다. 이러한 상황은 북미뿐만 아니라 한국에서도 비슷한 양태이다. 따라서 각 커뮤니티 아카이브의 목적과 지향을 우선적으로 이해해야 하며 이를 적합하게 표현할 수 있는 기술방법이 필요하다. 즉, 기왕의 기술방법이 아닌 탈표준이 필요하다. 이를 위해 우선 패러다임 전환과 기술을 이론적으로 살펴보고 현재 운영되고 있는 커뮤니티 아카이브의 기술을 분석했다. 분석을 통해 기술표준의 한계를 지적하고 나아가 '우애의 아카이브' 프로젝트의 기술을 비판적으로 검토하여 '한국인권기록기술'이라고 할 수 있는 패러다임 전환에 따른 기술을 제안하고자 한다.

Porous media consist of physically and chemically different materials and have an extremely complicated behavior due to the different material properties of each of its constituents. In addition, the internal structure of porous media has generally a complex geometry that makes the description of its mechanical behavior quite complex. Thus, in order to describe and clarify the deformation behavior of porous media, constitutive models for deformation of porous media coupling several effects such as flow of fluids of thermodynamical change need to be developed in frame of Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) description. The aim of ALE formulations is to maximize the advantages of Lagrangian and Eulerian methods, and to minimize the disadvantages. Therefore, this method is appropriate for the analysis of porous media that are considered for the behavior of solids and fluids. First of all, governing equations for saturated porous media based on ALE description are derived. Then, weak forms of these equations are obtained in order to implement numerical method using finite element method. Finally, Petrov-Galerkin method Is applied to develop finite element formulation.
