The purpose of this study is to investigate the information needs, information seeking behavior, and information use of people who seek information on Korea overseas. A total of 382 survey responses from 52 countries and in-depth interview data from 26 participants were collected and analyzed. As a result, the respondents were categorized into three groups, namely Hallyu culture enjoyment, Korean language learning, and Korean studies research groups, by their unique information needs and information seeking behaviors. Pandemic boosted the demand for digital data expansion and digital archiving efforts. Various information problems caused by language, technology and policy obstacles were revealed. Findings suggest strategies to assist Korea-related information users.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to identify the experiences of novice occupational therapists working at a child private clinic center in the clinical experience process of sensory integration therapy and to understand the adaptation process in child private clinic center. Methods : The participants were four occupational therapists with less than 1 year of clinical experience. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, and the recorded interview responses were transcribed and analyzed. The analysis of the data was made by phenomenological analytic method suggested by Giorgi. Results : As a result of analyzing the adaptation process of novice occupational therapists working at the child private clinic center, 3 categories, 6 themes, and 16 main meanings were derived. Novice occupational therapists experienced difficulties arising from clinical, obstacles from the working environment, positive factors inside the center, support from outside the center, self-effort, and changes through adaptation experience. Conclusion : Along with changes to the social system and pediatric rehabilitation institution, one's own effort are also required so that novice child occupational therapists working at child private clinic centers can adapt and perform at their roles.

Korea's design developed closely related to economic growth and plays a key role in material growth, wealth growth, and consumption promotion today. Of course, it is true that Korea's design level has grown significantly, but it has not reached a trend-leading level. Behind this, it is thought that one of the reasons behind this is that most design companies are biased towards trend research and benchmarking from a supplier perspective, resulting in the creation of design sculptures. If you look at the examples that lead the world's design trends, you can see that their subjective thinking from the author's point of view accounts for a significant portion of design sculpture creation. Through an in-depth interview with designers and artists at both extremes of the spectrum of thought, I want to look at examples of self-expression design development and get implications for suggesting conceptual models of self-expression design sculpture. Through this, a conceptual model was proposed, which is organized into a five-step design creation process in which balanced thinking is achieved by combining the thinking system and process according to the writer's point of view with the majority of design creation dominated by supplier perspective.

This study examines the practice of maeul community media as follows; Who, why, and how the role of participants is related to the operation of maeul community media, and the participation requirements. For this purpose, the maeul newspaper published in rural areas was approached by ethnographic Research, and participation observation, in-depth interview, and content analysis were performed. In conclusion, it was confirmed that harmonious participation of residents is the core condition of maeul community media practice. Residents' participation is based on the requirements of spontaneity, openness, talent donation, and local relationship. Spontaneity is a desire and effort for the activation of the community as a member of the local community. Openness is related to the operation structure of maeul community media where anyone can freely participate. Talent donation is based on their experience, knowledge, and expertise as a concrete practice of resident participation. Local relationship is the network of community that connects spontaneity and practice, and the operating structure of maeul community media. These requirements should be operated positively to ensure the function of maeul community media and sustainability.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the experience and meaning of falls among care workers caring for the elderly. Methods: The participants comprised 10 care workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The data collection period was from September to November 2020, and the data were obtained through individual in-depth interviews. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis method of qualitative research. The main interview questions were as follows: First, in the event of a fall, "can you tell us about your experience and how you dealt with the fall?; second, "can you tell us about your role and the role of family members or the center that manages falls that occur outside of nursing visits.", third, "can you tell us about the difficulties in managing falls based on your experience?", and fourth, "how are falls that occur during nursing visits managed?" Results: As a result of analyzing the experiences of nursing care workers of falls while caring for elders in their homes, five main themes were derived. These were understanding the characteristics of the elderly at home, understanding possible emergency situations, providing caring services, minimizing physical harm, and delivering clear information. Conclusion: A significant finding of this study was that care workers who visit and provide care to elders at home confirmed the need for standard guidelines on appropriate responses in the event of a fall at home and the importance of managing emergencies arising from falls among elders at home. These results highlight the need for the development of emergency response education programs, such as programs on fall care among nurses and care workers who provide care to the elderly, and for enhanced understanding of the fall risk of elders who live at home.

The purpose of the study was to explore the process of experience of spinal stenosis, herniation of intervertebral disk patients with low back pain under non-surgical treatment. 10 participants attended in-depth individual interview. Data analyzed using the Grounded theory methodology of Corbin and Strauss(2015). A core category emerged as 'Compromise with my body in the swamp of pain'. Central phenomenon was 'Constrained life by severe pain'. The process of the low back pain experience included three phases: 'cognition', 'coping', and 'adaptation'. This finding will be helpful for understanding the low back pain experience and be as fundamental data as for developing and applying nursing intervention program according to the low back pain experience process.

This study is about the elements of cosmetic's package design which MZ generation prefer and the effect on purchase. Naming, brand logo, color, typography, layout, illustration, matter & finish, and meaningful are classified 8 visual elements through the pilot study. After that this study analyzes specific visual elements which MZ generation prefer through online survey and In-depth interview based on the 8 visual elements. As a result of study, MZ generation prefer tidy and neat design to decorated style, and they feel brand logo is the most important thing of all 8 visual elements. In additional, meaningful of brand is barley able to compare with price, although it is significant visual element. This study may help to develop the way of the cosmetic's package design for MZ generation.

This study is a user experience research on the current usage of TV multiview and evaluating the usability. From traditional TV viewing to connecting laptop or mobile devices, the scope of using TV has expanded and evolved to multipurpose. Utilizing the multiview feature offers new TV experiences, but research on its usability has not been actively conducted yet. In this research, a case study and survey were held prior to usability testing to identify user needs and behavior of TV multiview. After reviewing the results, we ran a task-based usability testing and in-depth interview. As a result, users preferred different ways of accessing and using multiview based on their situation, and the current user interface needed improvement for easier, intuitive use. This study is expected to contribute to the development of improving user experience in TV multiview.

Background: The Korean scarlet dwarf, Nannophya koreana Bae (Odonata: Libellulidae), is anendangered dragonfly with an increasing risk of extinction owing to rapid climate changes and human activities. To prevent extinction, the N. koreana population and their habitat should be protected. Therefore, suitable habitat evaluation is important to build the N. koreana restoration project. The habitat suitability index model (HSI) has been widely used for habitat evaluation in diverse organisms. Results: To build a suitable HSI model for N. koreana, 16 factors were examined by seven experienced researchers. A field survey for N. koreana observed sites and spatial analysis were conducted to improve the model. Five factors were finally selected by this procedure (crown density, open water surface, water depth, pioneer plant cover, and type of water source). Finally, the N. koreana HSI model was generated with the five adjusted factors based on interview, field survey, and spatial analysis. This model was validated by a current N. koreana habitat in 2021. With this model, 46 sites in Uljin-gun, Korea, were surveyed for N. koreana habitats; five sites were identified as core habitats and seven as potential core habitats. Conclusions: This model will serve as a strong foundation for the N. koreana restoration project and as a reference for future studies on N. koreana and other endangered insect populations. Further analysis and long-term data will improve the efficacy of this model and restore endangered wildlife.

The purpose of this study is to examine in more depth how community fatherhood programs affected the lives of fathers and their families through the FGI(focus group interview) after the end of the programs. Five father participation programs from four Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers were selected for this research. Focus groups with 3-5 individuals for each program were conducted, with a total sample size of 20 people. Using content analysis, 16 concepts were extracted and classified into seven categories and two sub-topics. Finally, based on these results, this study developed a series of suggestions for the planning of father participation programs.
