  • This study examined the subcategories of the self concept of adolescent consumers, and investigated the influence of this self concept and the demographic characteristics on the evaluation and experience of adolescent entry into harmful places. The adolescent group was divided into 4 subgroups: (group I with negative evaluation and without entry experience, group II with negative evaluation but with experience;, group III with positive evaluation but without experience, and group IV with positive evaluation and with experience). The differences of demographic characteristic and self concept between these. subgroups were inspected. The results of this study were as follows. First, the self concept of the adolescent consumer consists of body self, social self, achievement self, scholarship self and family self. Among these self concepts, scholarship self was the highest, and family self was the lowest. Second, from the result of regression analysis using the demographic element as an independent variable to inspect the factors influencing self concept, sex, school year, living with parents, and economic status were statistically significant. Third, in case of entry evaluation, singing room was evaluated most positively among 10 places with a score of 4.20 and pub/drunkenness was evaluated most negatively. In case of entry experience, singing room was the most frequently experienced place and discotheque was the least. Fourth, with respect to demographic characteristics and influences of self concept, the influencing factors on entry evaluation were sex, school year, social self, and family self, and the influencing factors on entry experience were sex, school year, living with parents, social self, and family self. Finally, examination of the differences of demographic characteristics and self concept according to entry evaluation and experience, revealed the distinctive variables among the 10 harmful places to be sex, school year, living with parents, body self, social self, achievement self, scholarship self, and family self.

  • To improve the competitiveness of the hospital provides high quality medical services in a hospital coordinator role is emphasized. This study on customer orientation of the role ambiguity in order to identify the impact of degree of customer orientation were analyzed for demographic differences. Dependent variable, customer orientation affects role ambiguity as independent variables, and regression analysis were set. And the control variables are set to support situational factors, customer orientation on the role ambiguity and hierarchical regression analysis was performed. Obtained through empirical results are as follows: First, according to the demographic characteristics of the hospital coordinator customer orientation, the difference between gender and medical subjects are not shown. Age, education, work experience, job title, and the hospital on the pattern of customer orientation has shown a difference. Second, according to the hospital coordinator role ambiguity about its impact on customer orientation analysis can be a role implementation, job implementation, opinion communication in achieving customer orientation was negatively affected. Third, role ambiguity, and customer orientation factors for the moderating effects of organizational support for the role of customer orientation can role implementation, job implementation, opinion communication was a statistically significant. Fourth, the role ambiguity factors and customer orientation for the administrative support for the moderating effect of customer orientation and role implementation is significant, but job implementation, opinion communication were statistically significant. Fifth, the role ambiguity factors and customer support for customer orientation and customer orientation for the moderating effects of role performance and the opinion communication was not statistically significant. However, job implementation was statistically significant. The limitations of this study are as follows: First, role ambiguity, situational factors and support due to limitations of the variable factors that may affect the customer orientation of a number of factors were excluded. So many exogenous variables in the measurement process can affect. Second, the variables measured as problems of self-assessment by the variable measuring the respondent's bias may occur. Third, This study is difficult to generalize. In other words, several areas of the province conducted by the empirical results of the survey as a limit on the overall generalization can follow.

  • This research aims to offer the information required for demand increase on marketing strategy level by investigating Mudeungsan visitors' demographic characteristics and social economical variables. To accomplish this study, the proper analyzing model needs to be applied because a grave error of parameters will be led if regression model appropriate for analyzing the data of a continuous probability variable is applied, in case that dependent variable is a discrete random variable which have a discrete probability distribution. Therefore data analysis was performed with Poisson model. However, as the data was showing an overdispersion, parameter was estimated with the Binomial Poisson model able to cover the problem. As a result, some explanatory variables turned out to be significant such as visitor's age, occupation, preferred season to visit, type of company, five days working, and preferring type of tourism. Author could offer to the national park the information about characteristics of core market revealed and marketing strategy for it, based on those influential variables.

  • Meta-analysis was conducted on 34 studies reported in Korea from February 2007 through March 2017 to systematically integrate factors of aging anxiety of the middle and old aged. The variables related to aging anxiety were divided into 6 groups of variable, and the effect sizes were computed for each variable of their groups. The results are as follows. First, the total effect size showed the middle effect size, and the effect size according to the variable group showed the largest effect size for the negative psychological variable group, followed by the positive psychological variable, the social variable, the physical variable, the familial variable and the demographic variable. Second, the largest effect size of the sub-variables showed psychological well-being and death anxiety. As described above, suggesting that these variables may have a strong influence on aging anxiety among the variables related to aging anxiety because the psychological well-being and death anxiety were shown as the largest effective variables related to aging anxiety.

  • Smoking and harmful drinking dramatically increase health risks but little is known about their cooccurrence and factors that influence this co-habit, limiting development and implementation of appropriately targeted prevention interventions. This study was conducted among youth aged 10-24 years old in the Chi Linh Demographic - Epidemiological Surveillance System (CHILILAB DESS). The total numbers in the first, second and third rounds in 2006, 2009 and 2013 were 12,406, 10,211, and 7,654, respectively. A random-effects logit model controlling for both time-variant and time-invariant variables was applied to explore factors associated with current smoking, harmful drinking, and occurrence of smoking and harmful drinking together. We found dramatically increasing trends in current smoking, harmful drinking and co-occurrence among youth. Our results indicate similar health problems among youth in peri-urban areas in Vietnam. Demographic characteristics (older age, being male, being unmarried, and having informal work) appeared to be predictors for smoking and drinking behaviour. Besides, peer and family members had significant influence on smoking, whereas having a close-friend who was smoking was the most important variable. The results suggested that smoking and harmful drinking should not be solved with separate, stand-alone interventions but rather with integrated efforts.

  • This study examined trends in private after-school lessons for preschoolers and elementary school children as a function of demographic characteristics such as children's age, socioeconomic status, and mothers' employment status. One thousand and sixty-three mothers completed questionnaires on demographic characteristics and their children's participation in private after-school lessons. Data were analyzed by chi-square, one-way ANOVA, t-test, and multiple regression analyses. Results demonstrated that older children and children from higher income and full-time homemaker families attended more private lessons. Age of children was the most influential variable among the demographic characteristics; that is, older children had more after-school lessons. Recommendations for future research are to focus on possible negative effects of excessive private lessons on children's socio-emotional development.

  • The purpose of this study will find out the primary element of point make-up image perception, the point make-up image perception by point make-up trend and demographic variables such as sex and age. And this study will show the preferences of the point make-up. This study is based on the quasi-experimental study method with contents analysis method and experimental method. And content ana]isis is primarily based on the color trend and cosmetics colors which were suggested by a fashion magazine. Experiment was conducted by gathering opinions by poll, with the model wearing different make-ups and checking the typical reactions of people. To summarize, sex and age were found out to be influential variable to distinguish color perception abilities. This could verify that point make-up was important factor, influencing on the face image perception. also, face make-up effect could be maximized with Natural or common color groups rather than trend-oriented color group selections. And the polled preferred Natural color group with no point make-up or Classic color group to any other color group.
