This paper describes evaluation procedures and experimental results for the estimation of Cumulative Distribution Functions (CDF) giving best-fit to the sample data in the Probability based risk Evaluation Techniques (PET) which is to assess the risks of a small-sized sea floater. The CDF in the PET is to provide the reference values of risk acceptance criteria which are to evaluate the risk level of the floater and, it can be estimated from sample data sets of motion response functions such as Roll, Pitch and Heave in the floater model. Using Maximum Likelihood Estimates and with the eight kinds of regulated distribution functions, the evaluation tests for the CDF having maximum likelihood to the sample data are carried out in this work. Throughout goodness-of-fit tests to the distribution functions, it is shown that the Beta distribution is best-fit to the Roll and Pitch sample data with smallest averaged probability errors $\bar{\delta}(0{\leq}\bar{\delta}{\leq}1.0)$ of 0.024 and 0.022, respectively and, Gamma distribution is best-fit to the Heave sample data with smallest $\bar{\delta}$ of 0.027. The proposed method in this paper can be expected to adopt in various application areas estimating best-fit distributions to the sample data.

A ductile fracture criterion, which has already proposed, namely, ($\Delta$1/1o)f at $\Delta$$\sigma$ m=(($\Delta$1/1o)f+(-1/tan$\theta$)$\Delta$$\sigma$m(where ($\Delta$1/1o)f is fracture elongation, $\Delta$$\sigma$m is mean stress variation) was made use of to study the working limit in axisymmetric extrusion. The present investigation is concerned with the application of theory on flow and fracture to the prediction of workability of materials in axisymmetric bar extrusion, with special reference to central bursting. The influenced of die geometry and manufacturing conditions on the central bursting are predicted.
Rate Constants for the solvolysis of p-methylbenzyl chloride in various ethanol-water mixtures were studied at 30 and $40^{\circ}C$ under various pressures up to 1600 bar. The rates of reaction were increased with increasing temperature and pressure, and decreased with increasing solvent composition of ethanol mole fraction. From the rate constants, the values of the activation parameters (${\Delta}V^{\neq},{\Delta}{\beta}^{\neq},{\Delta}H^{\neq}\;and\;{\Delta}S^{\neq}$) were evaluated. The values of ${\Delta}V^{\neq}\;and\;{\Delta}{\beta}^{\neq}$ exhibit the extremum behavior at about 0.30 mole fraction of ethanol. This behavior is discussed in terms of solvent structure variation (electrostriction). From the relation between the reaction rate and the dielectric constant of solvent or the number of water molecule participated in the transition state, it could be postulated that the reaction proceeds through $S_N1$ mechanism.
Aquation reaction kinetics of $[Cr(en)_2Cl_2]^+$complex was carried by the electric conductivity method. Its temperature range was $15^{\circ}C$ to $30^{\circ}C$ and pressure was varied up to 2,000 bars. The reaction rate was increased with increasing temperature, but was reversed to increasing pressure. The activation volume(${\Delta}V^{\neq}$) was increased with increasing temperature and decreased with increasing pressure. At $25^{\circ}C$ and 1 bar it was fairly small positive value, $1.82cm^2/mole$. Activation entropy change(${\Delta}S^{\neq}$) $was calculated as small negative value,-9.019 eu, at $25^{\circ}C$ and 1bar. Referring to the thermodynamic parameters, it was estimated that aquation reaction was proceeded by the interchange-dissociation(Id) mechanism.
The objective of the present manuscript is to obtain a moderated theorem proceeding with absolute Riesz summability ${\mid}{\bar{N}},p_n,{\gamma};{\delta}{\mid}_k$ by applying almost increasing sequence for infinite series. Also, a set of reduced and well-known factor theorems have been obtained under suitable conditions.
Mineralized zone in the Dongyang talc deposits occurs on the lowest dolomite member of the Hyangsanri Dolomite belonging to the Ogcheon Supergroup. Ore bodies are emplaced as pipe-like body along the axis of minor folds plunging $40^{\circ}$ to the west developed in these dolomite layers. Amphibolite and chlorite schist are found along the upper or lower contact of all ore bodies (Kim et al., 1963; Park and Kim, 1966). Following the recrystallization and silicification of dolomite, tremolite and tabular and leafy talc(I) of the earlier stage formed, and microcrystalline talc(II) formed in the later stage. Talc(l) and tremolite formed by the reaction between dolomite and the fluid. Whereas talc (II) formed by the reaction between dolomite and fluid, or by the reaction between early formed tremolite and fluid. During the early stage of mineralization, the fluid was the $H_2O-CO_2$ system dominant in $CO_2$, In the later stage, the composition of the fluid changed to $H_2O-NaCl-CO_2$system, and finally to the $H_2O-NaCl$ system. The pressure and temperature conditions of the formation of tremolite associated with talc(I) were 1,640~2,530 bar, and $440{\sim}480^{\circ}C$, respectively. The pressure and temperature condition of talc(II) ore formation was 1,400~2,200 bar, and $360{\sim}390^{\circ}C$, respectively. These conditions are much lower than the metamorphic pressure and temperature of the rocks from the Munjuri Formation located about 5 km to the noJ:th of Dongyang talc deposit ${\delta}^{13}C$ and ${\delta}^{18}O$ values of dolomite which is the host rock of the talc ore deposit are 2.9~5.7‰ (PDB), and -7.4~l6.8‰ (PDB), respectively. These values are little higher than those from the Cambro-Ordovician limestones of the Taebaeksan region, but belong to the range of the unaltered sedimentary dolomite. ${\delta}^{18}O$and ${\delta}D$ values of the talc from Dongyang deposit are 8.6~15.8‰ (vs SMOW), and -65~-90‰ (vs SMOW), respectively, belonging to the range of magmatic origin. These values are quite different from those measured in the metamorphic rocks of Munjuri and Kyemyungsan Formation. ${\delta}^{34}S$ value of anhydrite is 22.4‰ (CDT), which is much lower than ${\delta}^{34}S$ (30‰ vs COT) of sulfate of early Paleozoic period, and indicates the possibility of the addition of magmatic sulfur to the system. Talc ores show the textures of weak foliation and well developed crenulation cleavages. Talc ore deposit in the area is concluded as hydrothermal replacement deposit formed before the latest phase of the deformations that Ogcheon Belt has undergone.
The underlying changes in biological processes that are associated with reported changes in mental and physical health in response to yoga breathing ($pr{\bar{a}}n{\bar{a}}y{\bar{a}}ma$) have not been systematically explored yet. In this study, the effects of a yoga breathing program on prefrontal EEG were tested with middle-aged women. Participants were collected as volunteers and controlled into two groups. Two channel EEG was recorded in the prefrontal region (Fp1, Fp2) from the yoga breathing group (n=17) and control group (n=17). QEEG quotients were transformed from the EEGs and analyzed by the ANOVAs on gain scores. As a result, ${\alpha}/{\delta}$ (left, right) and CQ (correlation quotient) for yoga breathing participants were significantly decreased compared to control group (p<.05). ${\alpha}/{\beta}_H+{\alpha}/{\delta}$ (left, right) were increased significantly (p<.05). For those significantly changed QEEG quotients, the interaction effects of Group x prefrontal alpha (${\alpha}$) and beta (${\beta}$) asymmetry were tested. Only the ${\alpha}$ asymmetry showed main effect on the gain score of ${\alpha}/{\beta}_H+{\alpha}/{\delta}$ (right) with F (1, 34)=5.694 (p<.05). Pearson's correlation coefficient between ${\alpha}$ asymmetry and gain score of ${\alpha}/{\beta}_H+{\alpha}/{\delta}$ (right) was .374 (p<.05). The gain score of ${\alpha}/{\beta}_H+{\alpha}/{\delta}$ (right) was increased for the right ${\alpha}$ dominance of yoga breathing group. On the contrary it was decreased for the left ${\alpha}$ dominance of yoga breathing group as well as the control regardless of the dominance. The result of this study implies that yoga breathing increases stress resistance and is effective in the management of physical stress. Emotionally relaxed people may have greater instantaneous stress reduction after yoga breathing. Moreover, yoga breathing could be also beneficial for depressed who may be more vulnerable to stress.

High duality BiSrCaCuO thin films fabricated by using the i-beam sputtering method at various substrate temperatures, $T_{sub}$ and oxidation gas pressures, $pO_3$. The correlation diagrams of the BiSrCaCuO phases with Tsub and $pO_3$ are established in the 2212 and 2223 compositional films. In spite of 2212 compositional sputtering, Bi2201 and Bi2223 as well as Bi2212 phases come out as stable phases depending on $T_{sub}$ and $pO_3$. From these results, the thermodynamic evaluation of ${\Delta}H$ and${\Delta}S$, which are related with Gibbs' free energy change for single Bi2212 or Bi2223 phase, was performed.
The fracture toughness of subcritical HAZ in the hot strained weldments of two structural steels(SB 41 and SA 537) has been investigated by COD test method and metallurgical study. The obtained results are summarized as follows; 1. The hot straining embitterment of subcritical HAZ depends on the hot straining amounts of notch tip, and the transition temperature( $T_{tr}$ ) increases with the accumulated hot straining amounts(.SIGMA. vertical bar .delta.$_{t}$vertical bar). 2. The fracture toughness of subcritical HAZ depends on materials and microstructure. The transition temperature( $T_{tr}$ ) of subcritical HAZ in SB 41 is almost same as that of parent material, however in SA 537 the temperature is higher than that of parent and lower than that of transformed HAZ. 3. The subcritical HAZ in SA 537 shows a higher toughness at small amounts of hot straining (.SIGMA. vertical bar .delta. $_{t}$vertical bar<0.3mm).mm).
In this study, the flow characteristics and bed changes in the upstream and downstream of weirs with the variation of the weir angels are investigated quantitatively through the laboratory experiments. As the angle of weir increases, the effective weir length decreases. Delta is developed by the sediments inflow upstream and migrates downstream. Delta migration speed decreases as it approaches to the weir upstream, and the size is getting big. As the dimensionless weir length increases, the dimensionless wave length decreases at the downstream of the weir. However, the dimensionless bar height decreases. The dimensionless wavelength increases with the bar height downstream from the weir.
