정수압력에 따른 해수흡수된 Carbon/Epoxy 복합재의 압축 및 파괴특성에 대한 연구 (Compressive and Fracture Characteristics of Seawater-abrobed Carbon-Epoxy Composite under Hydrostatic Pressure Environment)

  • In this study, we investigated compressive characteristics of seawater-absorbed carbon-epoxy composite under hydrostatic pressure environment. The hydrostatic pressures applied were 0.1 MPa, 100 MPa, 200 MPa, and 270 MPa. The results showed that the compressive elastic modulus increased about 10 % as the hydrostatic pressure increased from 0.1 MPa to 200 MPa. The modulus increased 2.3 % more as the pressure increased to 270 MPa. Fracture strength and fracture strain increased with pressure in a linear fashion. Fracture strength increased 28 % and fracture strain increased 8.5 % as the hydrostatic pressure increased from 0.1 MPa to 270 MPa.

  • This Paper is to aim the microdefect evaluation of semiconductor Package into a quantitative from NDI's image processing of ultrasonic wave. Accordingly, for the detection of delamination between the Joining condition of boundary microdefect of semiconductor packaga the result from sampling original image, histogramming, binary image or image processing of multinumerloal value is such as the follows. ([) The least limitation from the microdefect detection of the semiconductor package by surveying high ultrasonic wave seems to be about 0.8 $\mu\textrm{m}$ in degree. (2) A result of applying the image processing of multinumerical value to the semiconductor package it was possible to devide the Category into the effectiveness.

  • 캐패시터, 인덕터 등의 전자부품들은 적층기술 및 표면 실장 기술 등을 이용하여 적층형 칩형태로 제작되고 있다. 적층형 칩형태의 전자부품들은 전자기적 특성을 부여하는 세라믹스와 전극역할을 하는 금속으로 구성되어 있으며, 전극 부분은 크게 내부전극과 외부전극으로 구분된다. 고장이 발생하게 되면 고장의 형태를 의미하는 고장모드(failure mode)와 제품을 고장에 이르게하는 물리, 화학적, 기계적 과정을 의미하는 고장기구(failure mechanism)을 조사하게 된다. 전자부품에서 고장이 발생하였을 경우, 1차적인 분석대상은 전극재인데 전극재에 기인한 고장으로는 세라믹스와 전극재 사이의 열팽창계수 차이에 기인한 박리현상(Delamination), 인쇄불량에 의한 단락 및 두께 불량, 세라믹스와 전극재 사이의 반응, 산화에 의한 부식 등이 있다. 이러한 고장은 급격한 주위 환경의 변화에 의한 것보다는 일정수준의 스트레스가 축적되어 발생하며, 수명을 예측하기 위해서는 고장의 원인을 규명하고 그 원인에 의한 가속 시험을 수행하는 것이 일반적인 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 Ag 외부 전극재의 수명을 예측하고자 가속시험을 수행하였고, 고장 분석 통하여 Ag외부 전극재의 특성 및 문제점 등을 정확히 파악하기 위한 연구를 하였다.

  • Reinforced concrete deck slabs are directly affected by traffic loads and they are also susceptible to weather-related problems, such as cracking, reinforcement corrosion, spatting, scaling, delamination, leakage, efflorescence and so on. Some of these defects are caused by water which seeps through pavements and trapped between pavements and deck slabs. For durability of reinforced concrete deck slabs and pavements, it is very important to protect deck slabs and drain the trapped water out. To develop the trapped water drainage system, the following studies have been performed in Korea Highway Cooperation: related researches are reviewed; for six bridges, deck slabs are thoroughly investigated; new system to effectively drain the trapped water out is proposed; the proposed system is installed and evaluated. The proposed system is proved to be effective to drain the trapped water out and is expected to increase the durability of reinforced concrete deck slabs.

  • The strengthening of concrete structures in situ with externally bonded fiber sheets is increasingly being used for repair and rehabilitation of existing structures. Because fiber sheets is attractive for this application due to its good tensile strength, resistance to corrosion, and low weight. But, debonding failure may occur at the beam ends that fiber sheet bonded to the soffit of a beam. The method which can prevent debonding failure is suggested and proved its efficiency by using CPS experimental test. And this paper summarized the results of experimental studies concerning the end-anchorage system. Results show that the suggested method is faithful in strengthening with CFS.

  • This paper focues on the flexural behavior of RC beams externally reinforced using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics plates. (CFRP) A non-linear finite element (FE) analysis is proposed in order to complete the experimental analysis of the flexural behaviour of the beams. This paper is a part of a complete program aiming to set up design formulate to predict the strength of CFRP strengthende beams, particularly when premature failure through plates-end shear or concrete cover delamination occurs. An elasto-plastic behaviour is assumed for reinforced concrete and interface elements are used to model the bond and slip.

원공노치를 가진 CFRP의 적층방향에 따른 기계적 특성 평가 (The Mechanical Properties Evaluation on Lay-up Orientation Effect of CFRP Laminate Composite with the Hole Notch)

  • The tensile tests for [0/90]s, [90/0]s, and $[0/{\pm}45/90]s$ laminate composite were accomplished with acoustic sensor and failure processes were recorded by a video camera in real time. Also SEM examinations for fracture and side surface were carried out. The purpose of study is estimation of the failure mechanism and the mechanical properties effected by lay-up orientation for CFRP laminate composite with the hole notch. From the results, mechanical properties were obtained and they are similar between two kinds of cross-ply orientation in CFRP laminate composites, but not on $[0/{\pm}45/90]s$. And accordings to increasing the load, accumulate AE count was increased, regardless of lay-up orientation. Futhermore, failure mechanism was described by a video monitoring and SEM.

Nondestructive Contactless Sensing of Concrete Structures using Air-coupled Sensors

  • Recent developments in contactless, air-coupled sensing of seismic and ultrasonic waves in concrete structures are presented. Contactless sensing allows for rapid, efficient and consistent data collection over a large volume of material. Two inspection applications are discussed: air-coupled impact-echo scanning of concrete structures using seismically generated waves, and air-coupled imaging of internal damages in concrete using ultrasonic tomography. The first application aims to locate and characterize shallow delamination defects within concrete bridge decks. Impact-echo method is applied to scan defected concrete slabs using air coupled sensors. Next, efforts to apply air-coupled ultrasonic tomography to concrete damage imaging are discussed. Preliminary results are presented for air-coupled ultrasonic tomography applied to solid elements to locate internal defects. The results demonstrate that, with continued development, air-coupled ultrasonic tomography may provide improved evaluation of unseen material defects within structures.

CFRP/GFRP 복합재료의 층내 파괴에 대한 CNT 및 적층구조의 영향 (The Influence of CNTs and Lamination Structure on the Intralaminar Fracture of CFRP/GFRP Composites)

  • Recently many researches were conducted on the interlaminar fracture that is a delamination between laminates by using ASTM standardized methods. However the experiment of the intralaminar a fracture is difficulty. In this study, four types of CFRP/GFRP composites with different layer structures were compared to evaluate an intralaminar fracture toughness under the mode I. Also the CNTs were added to the layer for the examination of the fracture toughness improvement. And the characteristics of the crack propagation behaviour was observed using a microscope. The obtained results can be useful for the evaluation of the intralaminar fracture toughness of the CNT reinforced CFRP/GFRP composites.

  • The high strength and wear-resistant metal bonded diamond wheel was applied to the drilling process of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), The helical-feed drilling method was use for the first time to overcome the limit of drilling depth of the conventional drilling process and to improve the dressing of the wheel. The helical-feed drilling method was found effective at high cutting speed without the limit of drilling depth.
