Lack of incident reporting culture has been pointed out as a potential risk factor across industries. Consequently, comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting the willingness to report (WTR) is necessary. However, our knowledge on the related studies are not enough to date and even most parts of the existing studies have focused on patient safety, which makes it difficult to universally apply the factors to all industries. Therefore, this study aimed to identify WTR factors in chemical plants and evaluate the influence degree of the factors. To do this, 45 candidate factors were summarized throughout the previous studies and surveying plant safety staff. A questionnaire survey was conducted for 614 all employees from 9 chemical plants which belong to one company, and finally 32 WTR factors were identified throughout 520 responses. Of these, 19 factors were consistent with the previous studies and 13 factors were newly identified. The most influential factor was 'Views on the necessity of incident reporting', and 'Reporting practice by outcome severity', 'Fear of vilification, conflicts, blame, or sanctions' were followed. This result not only suggests various WTR factors suitable for chemical plants, but also shows need to derive specific factors that are appropriate to each industry. An empirical study could be expected to increase incident reporting by using these factors and verify its effectiveness on injury rate.

This study theoretically examines the essence of the competencies, qualifications and grades newly required in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, points out that the engineer rating system does not reflect the new talent and practical capability, and conducts theoretical and empirical analyzes on improvement of the rating system. The current rating system need to be improved because it is not possible for graduates and experience workers to upgrade. Also, it is reasonable that the current highest grade of engineer, the Professional Engineer, which is a sort of qualification, is not a grade but a function of calculating the grade. Based on this theoretical background, empirical analysis of the question investigation and focus group interview shows that the rating system should be improved to four grades or return to the previous system in 2013. And if it is reduced to four grade, it should go in the way that the professional engineer and the qualified engineer combined. In the industry, the future skills of engineers are as follows : qualification, ability to use emerging technology, problem solving, understanding and utilization of major, and data management, etc. These can be summarized as qualification, education (degree) and career. In particular, the engineering industry considers qualifications, degrees, and career experience, and career experience as the most important elements of the rating system. In this regard, it is necessary to introduce a method that accurately reflects the career experience in the improvement of the engineer rating system.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of sympathetic reactions to public service advertisement video messages produced for health campaigns. To this end, based on the empathy response scale proposed by Campbell & Babrow (2004), the empathy response to the images of nine health campaigns with themes of smoking cessation, tuberculosis, and suicide triggered fear of health risks and health behaviors (information seeking, preventive actions). As a result of the analysis, among the factors of empathy reaction, the reality of the message creative, the match of emotions, and the identification of the characters in the video each played a role in raising fear, and it is rather fear that logically understanding the situation that causes health problems through the health campaign video It was found that it played a role in reducing health information seeking behavior. On the other hand, it was found that the higher the degree of interest, such as sympathy for the characters in the video, among the factors of the sympathetic response to the health campaign, the higher the intention of preventive action to reduce the health risk.
Objectives: In this study, we aimed to examine the dysphagia knowledge, preventive attitudes toward dysphagia, and educational needs concerning geriatric oral health, of dental hygienists, and to provide fundamental information for recognizing the necessity of knowledge and education concerning geriatric oral health and for increasing educational needs. Methods: From April 1 to June 30, 2022, a questionnaire survey was administered to 198 dental hygienists via an online link. SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 was used to conduct the frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Regarding the difference in knowledge of dysphagia depending on general characteristics, the study participants had more knowledge of dysphagia when they were more interested in dysphagia and had a higher geriatric treatment frequency. The preventive attitudes toward dysphagia were strong in those who graduated from graduate school or higher, had more prevention and education at work, became more interested in dysphagia, received more education about dysphagia, had intention to receive additional education on dysphagia, and had a higher geriatric treatment frequency. Positive correlations were observed between knowledge of dysphagia, preventive attitudes toward dysphagia, and educational needs related to geriatric oral health. The educational needs related to geriatric oral health were found to be, significantly and positively influenced by preventive attitudes toward dysphagia, having master's degree or higher, knowledge of dysphagia, and intention to receive additional education on dysphagia. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the quality of oral health services offered to older patients by having accurate knowledge of dysphagia implementing appropriate prevention practices for dysphagia, and understanding the educational content needed by the oral hygienists and developing an effective education program to enhance their professionalism.

The purpose of this study is to investigate operating practices of human resources nourishing institutions and analyze the degree of satisfaction to the e-learning learners in Busan. This study adopted a questionnaire method in research of 70 human resources nourishing institutions and 758 e-learning learners in Busan area for empirical analysis. Techniques used in analyzing data was frequency analysis. SPSS for windows programs were applied in the analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, it is found that there is a widespread affirmative perceptions in the fields of both operating practices and satisfaction on e-learning. Second, however, it is also found that more efforts needed to be made in some areas such as method for effective e-learning and the management of programs, and more concerns should be need to the age group of fifty-over. These groups are short of understanding and acceptance of e-learning environment.
The strain and acoustic emission (AE) signals of Pocheon granite were measured during uniaxial compression tests to investigate microcrack formation and damage. Crack closure, initiation, and damage stresses of each sample were determined through an analysis of the crack volumetric strain and stiffness. The samples experienced four damage stages according to stress levels: stage 1 = crack closure stage; stage 2 = elastic stage; stage 3 = crack initiation stage; stage 4 = crack damage stage. At least 75% of all AE signals occurred in stages 3 and 4, and different AE parameters were detected in the four stress stages. Rise time, count, energy, and duration clearly showed a tendency to gradually increase with the damage stress stage. In particular, the rise time, energy, and duration increased by at least 95% in stage 4 as compared with stage 1. However, the maximum amplitude showed a smaller increase, and the average frequency decreased slightly at higher stages. These results indicate that as the degree of rock damage increases, the crack size grows larger. The crack types corresponding to the AE signals were determined using the relationship between RA (Rise time / Amplitude) values and average frequencies. Tension cracking was dominant in all stress stages. Shear cracking was rare in stages 1 and 2, but increased in stages 3 and 4. These results are consistent with previous studies that reported cracking begins after samples have already been damaged. Our study shows that the state of rock damage can be investigated solely through an analysis of AE parameters when rocks are under compressive stress. As such, this methodology is suitable for understanding and monitoring the stress state of bedrock.

In order to foster 'creative convergence talents' teachers and pre-service teachers who possess a certain degree of creativity must learn about this new approach as part of their teacher training. In this study, we attempted to identify the implications on the curriculum of the teacher education-training college in question by analysing secondary school teachers' and pre-service teachers' creativity and by collecting sufficient data to develop a positive feedback model for selecting, cultivating, and appointing pre-service teachers who fulfil the requirements of said college of education. Such teachers will display the commitment and professionalism to fulfil their teaching duties in the best possible manner and will consistently produce valuable contributions to their chosen subject matter and integrate these into their daily teaching. These teachers will complete all their tasks in a creative way, including student guidance, administrative duties, and academic lessons. The factors that distinguished creative teachers from others included originality and fluency. Our test group comprised 216 pre-service teachers as well as 137 fully qualified teachers. Teachers' understanding of the factors required in order to qualify as a 'creative and committed teacher' was very low. We provided data to the college of education to increase creativity when selecting teachers and curricula based on an analysis of perceptions of creativity provided by teachers and pre-service teachers.
The theme is the core of the work in all media including the games. In order to develop successful games, it must effectively express the game theme. In order to express the game theme, it must be able to understand and to utilize the characteristics of the game theme. This Study extracted 11 characteristics of the game theme through the precedent literature research and found 4 core characteristics of the game theme through interviews with 11 experts. This Study conducted a survey about 4 core characteristics of the game theme in Final Fantasy X of Japan and Skyrim of USA. As a result, degree of an expression about 4 core characteristics of the game theme received high-rated in common(3.45~4.59 / 5). It may become guidelines for the theme studies in the other games. I will contribute to develop successful games through understanding and utilizing the 4 core characteristics of the game theme.

In this study, we investigated that consumers could differentiate between levels of claims and clarify how a visual aid influences consumer understanding of the different claim levels. We interviewed 2,000 consumers in 13 shopping malls on their perception of and confidence in different levels of health claims using seven point scales. The average confidence scores given by participants were 4.17 for the probable level and 4.07 for the possible level; the score for the probable level was significantly higher than that for the possible level (P < 0.05). Scores for confidence in claims after reading labels with and without a visual aid were 5.27 and 4.43, respectively; the score for labeling with a visual aid was significantly higher than for labeling without a visual aid (P < 0.01). Our results provide compelling evidence that providing health claims with qualifying language differentiating levels of scientific evidence can help consumers understand the strength of scientific evidence behind those claims. Moreover, when a visual aid was included, consumers perceived the scientific levels more clearly and had greater confidence in their meanings than when a visual aid was not included. Although this result suggests that consumers react differently to different claim levels, it is not yet clear whether consumers understand the variations in the degree of scientific support.
Dental caries is the most common oral disease. There are many factors contributing to its development, but complete understanding and prevention are not fully known. However, it is possible to remineralize the early enamel curious lesion by fluoride containing remineralization solution. Recently the pH-cycling model has been used to examine the effect of fluoride solution on remineralization of artificial caries in vitro as it can closely simulate the conditions encountered in vivo within a carefully controlled environment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the remineralizing effects of supersaturated buffer solutions under pH-cycling model. The specimen with 3mm-diameter was made using mature bovine incisors which has no caries and has sound enamel surface. Early curious lesions were produced by suspending each specimens into demineralization solution at pH 5.0 for 33 hours and the specimen whose surface hardness value ranged from 25 to 45 VHN were used. The pH cycling treatment regimen consisted of 5 min soaks of three treatment solutions four times per days for 15 days and the continuous cycling of demineralization and remineralization were carried out for 15 days. Following the pH-cycling treatment regimen, the specimens' surface microhardness were measured by the Vickers hardness test (VHN) and analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan's multiple-range test. 1. The surface microhardness value of supersaturated solution, Senstime, and Gagline groups were increased after pH cycling, and that of supersaturated solution was significantly Increased compared to saline group(P<0.05). 2. The surface remineralization effect of fluoride containing solutions was accelerated by saliva under pH-cycling mode 3. The pH cycling model was considered appropriate to mimic the intra-oral pH changes when evaluating demineralization and remineralization in vitro. Under the results of above study, salivary remineralization effect can be improved by fluoride containing remineralization solution. The pH-cycling model was considered appropriate to mimic the intra-oral pH changes when evaluating demineralization and remineralization in vitro.
