Characterization of the Stigma side Self-incompatibility Genes in a Self-compatible Brassica oleracea (자가화합성 양배추의 주두측 자가불화합성 유전자 해석)

  • In Brassica, S locus glycoprotein (SLG) and S locus receptor kinase (SRK) genes function together for self-recognition in the self-incompatibility response. In addition, a water channel called aquaporins (MOD) is required for the self-incompatibility response. In this study, we isolated the SC-SLG, SC-SRK, and SC-MOD genes from a self-compatible line of B. oleracea. In the self-compatible line, the SC-SLG, SC-SRK, and SC-MOD genes showed the highest degree of sequence similarity with published data and to normal expression by RT-PCR. Therefore, it can be concluded that the SCR/SP11 gene of the B. oleracea pollen may not function and/or that mutations may occur in genes for self-incompatibility that are not linked to the S locus region.

  • This study through theoretical investigation connected with business consulting quality of service and pre-study, actual proof was analyzed on the basis of research hypothesis about domestic consulting's element of qualify of service. Analyzed interrelation degree because do result that is customer satisfaction measurement classifying roughly quality of service and expense quality in actual proof analysis by a representation measurement tool. By first if summarize this study finding, was construed by thing which relativity is very high mutually relation about service quality and satisfaction of customer satisfaction. Therefore, was assumed by leading recognition that is very positive in service quality and customer relation. Secondly, expense quality of service and recycling of customer satisfaction measurement inside synonymy confirm. Hereafter, We can had assumption information consulting and business consulting from medium and small enterprises to very important competition factor.

Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Moral Sensitivity on Caring Efficacy of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 감성지능, 도덕적 민감성이 돌봄효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study tried to find out the degree of emotional intelligence and moral sensitivity of nursing students and their effect on caring efficacy. Data collection was conducted online from January 14 to 23, 2021 for 143 students from 1st to 4th grade at 3 nursing colleges located in one province. For data analysis, using SPSS/WIN 23.0, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used. As a result of the study, emotional intelligence was confirmed as an influencing factor of caring efficacy, specifically emotional utilization (p=.005), emotional regulation (p=.027), and emotional recognition of others (p=.037), and the explanatory power was 26.2%. Therefore, in order to increase the nursing students' sense of caring efficacy, it is necessary to develop nursing education and content development that can improve individual emotional intelligence of nursing students.

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate 'willingness to pay' for mobile data service by using contingent valuation method with double bounded dichotomous choice question. The findings are as follows.: First, the willingness to pay of mobile data service is considerably lower than current retail price. Second, the perceived degree of mobile data service such as awareness and benefit recognition is positively related to the willingness to pay of mobile data service. Our results suggest that active promotion and strengthening of the content of mobile data service are needed in order to enhance the profitability of mobile operators. The analysis results will be used to set the mobile operator's pricing strategy and to build up a successful communication policies in the mobile ecosystem.

A Study on the LIS Capstone Design Curriculum and the Learning Satisfaction Survey (문헌정보학 캡스톤디자인 교육과정 운영과 학습만족도 측정연구)

  • We had opened a course in the library and information science curriculum, developed and applied a syllabus and some manuals for this course, and analyzed the performance by conducting a survey before and after the training. As the results, first, the necessary components showed a positive relationship of 0.414 with the expected performance effects and showed a positive relationship of 0.452 with the expected learning outcomes. Second, the understanding degree of the Capstone Design course was 3.56 before implementing the curriculum. It was improved to 4.07 after implementing the educational courses. Third, the recognition of the components necessary for the Capstone Design course was improved from 4.13 to 4.39 after carrying out the course. Fourth, the perception of the expected performance effects of the Capstone Design course was improved from 3.77 to 3.88 after the course execution. Fifth, the perception of the expected learning outcomes of the Capstone Design course was improved from 3.79 to 4.22 after the course implementation.

A Human-Robot Interaction Entertainment Pet Robot (HRI 엔터테인먼트 애완 로봇)

  • In this paper, a quadruped walking pet robot for human-robot interaction, a robot-controller using a smart phone application program, and a home smart control system using sensor informations providing from the robot are described. The robot has 20 degree of freedom and consists of various sensors such as Kinect sensor, infrared sensor, 3 axis motion sensor, temperature/humidity sensor, gas sensor and graphic LCD module. We propose algorithms for the robot entertainment: walking algorithm of the robot, motion and voice recognition algorithm using Kinect sensor. emotional expression algorithm, smart phone application algorithm for a remote control of the robot, and home smart control algorithm for controlling home appliances. The experiments of this paper show that the proposed algorithms applied to the pet robot, smart phone, and computer are well operated.

  • According to fast change of the environment, the structured study of the ecosystem by analyzing the plant leaves are needed. Expecially, the methodology that searches and classifies the leaves from captured from the smart device have received numerous concerns in the field of computer science and ecology. In this paper, we propose a plant leaf classification technique using shape descriptor by combining Scale Invarinat Feature Transform (SIFT) and Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) from the image segmented from the background via Graphcut algorithm. The shape descriptor is coded in the field of Locality-constrained Linear Coding to optimize the meaningful features from a high degree of freedom. It is connected to Support Vector Machines (SVM) for efficient classification. The experimental results show that our proposed approach is very efficient to classify the leaves which have similar color, and shape.

  • With our society entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there has been heightened interest in coding education, which has led to an increased number of coding classes offered in schools. Once catered to degree holders only, coding courses are now being offered as liberal arts courses to even non-majors. As the importance of computing abilities and creativity-oriented education through software learning becomes increasingly pronounced, the need for research on effective coding learning is growing more urgent. The present study sought an effective coding education model that would encourage and enhance learners' participation and interest in coding. The proposed learning model is designed to invoke learner's recognition of various coding grammars and data search in the process of designing and performing their own unique project. Application of the proposed learning model and analysis of such case studies showed improvement in learning outcomes. One can expect improved performance among learners if the proposed learning model is applied to various coding courses.

  • Korean archival community had continuously dealt with attempts at weakening the core of records and archives principles in the name of deregulation. In 2015, Korean government announced revisions of the Archives Law in order to boost uses of commercial records facilities by public institutions. As key concepts were unclear and understandings among stake-holders varied, a considerable degree of chaos and anxiety aroused. The amendment itself was held at National Assembly. The unresolved disputes rested, however, waiting for another attempt of similar nature. As the recognition propelled this paper, it aimed at reviewing major contending arguments and proposing future actions.

Enhanced FCM-based Hybrid Network for Pattern Classification (패턴 분류를 위한 개선된 FCM 기반 하이브리드 네트워크)

  • Clustering results based on the FCM algorithm sometimes produces undesirable clustering result through data distribution in the clustered space because data is classified by comparison with membership degree which is calculated by the Euclidean distance between input vectors and clusters. Symmetrical measurement of clusters and fuzzy theory are applied to the classification to tackle this problem. The enhanced FCM algorithm has a low impact with the variation of changing distance about each cluster, middle of cluster and cluster formation. Improved hybrid network of applying FCM algorithm is proposed to classify patterns effectively. The proposed enhanced FCM algorithm is applied to the learning structure between input and middle layers, and normalized delta learning rule is applied in learning stage between middle and output layers in the hybrid network. The proposed algorithms compared with FCM-based RBF network using Max_Min neural network, FMC-based RBF network and HCM-based RBF network to evaluate learning and recognition performances in the two-dimensional coordinated data.
