The purpose of this study was to understand the subjective perception of Related group's Concerning the Identity of Community Children Center. Q methodology was applied of the study. 23 Q-statements were created based on selected 337 statements and were classified by 40 candidates who related Community Children Center. The obtained data were analyzed by means of PC Quanl program. The result showed that the identity of Community Children Center were classified in 4 types. The types included "Type I: the leading agency for children, families and communities", "Type II: Agency that operated by dedication and commitment" "Type III: Center that complements the family" "Type IV: Systematic operational support standardization is required. In conclusion, the results of the data revealed the importance of the various recognition-types of individuals related to the identity of the community children's center.

Park Tae-Joon, a pioneer in the Korean steel industry, has greatly influenced the advancement of science and technology as well as the development of the nation's economy. He believed that POSCO, which was a government-owned company, should not only focus on making profits, but also operate for higher state-level purposes. This belief became the basis for founding a general laboratory and a research university, as well as building big science and technology R&D facilities. Park Tae-Joon's efforts to establish a research university and his dedication to the advancement of science education stemmed from his devotion to public welfare. Just like he believed that the steel industry, which is the basis for all other industries, should be promoted at the state-level, he believed that university and basic science should also be promoted at the state-level. Thanks to his philosophy, the Pohang University of Science and Technology has risen beyond just a polytechnic school to become a research university that makes revolutionary science and technology advancements for the nation. The fact that Park Tae-Joon used profits from business to build the university and national research facilities such as the Pohang Light Source also shows that he nurtured pure science with the welfare of the whole nation in mind.

Contemporary smartphone competition is generally described as the battle between Apple's proprietary platform and Google's open platform. However, this competition is not limited within smartphone adoption itself. User's pre-adoption of one mobile platform via smartphone can be connected to the post-adoption of the same mobile platform based on the other smart devices (e.g. smart pad). In this study, we investigate whether user's preference to a certain platform is persistent over mobile ecology, from the pre-adoption of one smart device to the post-adoption of following devices. For this investigation, we adopt the dual-model as the ground theory, where post-adoption of IT product is explained by both dedication and constraint factors. The empirical testing first evidences that dual model works well as our research model for identifying the reasons of post-adoption. Next, we group our data into two parts in order to compare the switching behavior of iPhone users and Android phone users. iPhone users show much lower switching rate to Android based smart pads, while Android phone users show higher churn rate to iPad (49.3% : 96.3%). Especially, satisfaction showed much stronger effect than switching cost on the continuing intention of existing platform, when the analysis is given to the iPhone user's group. From this result, we can conjecture the relatively stronger loyalty of iPhone users. More managerial implications on the mobile platform strategy are driven.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the present situation of the landscape management - which encompasses landscape ordinance, planning, and agreement - in regards to the Shiga prefecture and Omihachiman city to explore sustained landscape preservation and management methods, and to deduce the implications of the establishment of rural landscape planning and landscape administration. The conclusion is summarized as follows. First, the landscape ordinance should be operated so that the practical landscape management is suitable to the characteristics of local governments. Second, landscape management should be based on zoning. The landscape plan should start with defining the types and characteristics of the landscapes at each site and subdividing the landscape areas accordingly. Third, the restriction of conduct and the promotion of autonomous landscape activities should be employed as the two axes of landscape administration. Beautiful and healthy landscapes can be achieved through collective efforts of the community, and this requires voluntary practice amongst individuals and administrative regulations to achieve so. Fourth, meticulous, dimensional and practical landscape plans should be established. In order to effectively preserve, form and manage the essential landscape elements and resources of the area, the starting landscape plan should be more definitively outlined. Finally, it is necessary to change the perception of landscape. In order to relish beautiful and healthy scenery, it is critical to recognize the value of the attentive efforts and dedication of each member of the community that stimulates the objective.

Museum Architecture, passing through modem times, have been requested to make changes in order to respond to the necessities of current times as well, so that they come to develop various kinds of programs other than a mere exhibition. That is, museum began recognizing the diversity of activities available in the spaces and the openness to the public. And tried to keep up with the changes by linking the museum buildings with local community in urban architecture as a result. Conversion design is methodology aims at reforming old buildings into a museum or revitalizing buildings of historical significance into exhibition center, so that it made possible to utilize the texts of historical, cultural cities, which in turn contribute to the diversity of urban architecture and protection of buildings in environmental crisis. In the sense, the paper analyzes the life-long contribution and dedication of Carlo Scarpa, an Italian architect, in the conversion of museum architecture, and studies the style, techniques, and features witnessed from his architectural works, and finally offers an insight and a directing post to take advantage of diverse ways likely applicable in our urban architectures. Scarpa's features in his museum architecture are classified as follows: First, contrasting expression of reiteration and side by side to express the continuity of time Second, he conveyed implicated meanings through inserting contracted factors of the locality and traditionality. Third, his interest in formative works and handicraft had an influence on shaping conversion space Finally, expression of accidentally to change of a point of view.

Today, although hospital infectious diseases are readily diagnosed, are treatable and preventable, many of these continues to be a major health problem in the developing countries, as well as the advanced nations. In the advanced countries efforts for hospital infection control has been presented but in Korea. The importance of being knowledgeble concerning hospital infection control is not much recognized yet. Presently in Korea good quality of care and services in the hospital is a main issue of discussion, therefore the subject of hospital infection control can't be over emphasized. Hospital infection control measures ranged from almost non existent to none when the pathogen transmission were not fully understood. As the knowledge of the transmission and contraction of the diseases expanded, newer and more effective procedures evolved. To be vital it is required to have good system for hospital infection control and inspection, rules and regulations and many numbers of persons with dedication. The strategy has been applied for hospital infection control standards as outlined by the centers for disease control and prevention(CDC). The hospital infection control committee is the factor to be well managed. Especially nurses are the important part of any hospital infection control program because they are the one who makes function properly. It is also required the responsibility of every employer who has employees who are exposed to blood, blood products or other potentially hospital infectious materials. Laws enacted by agencies of the federal government but the emphasis, and the demands for initiating and maintaining these control measures should be practiced on a routine and daily basis. The forgoing facts and requirements will assist us in assuring our hospital infection control program is successful.

This study examined the influence of job stress and personal resources (hardiness, optimism) of child counselors on their burnout and work engagement. For the study, 171 child counselors were surveyed. The main effects of job stress and personal resources on burnout and engagement were tested using hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study were as follows: First, the study showed that both job stress and personal resources were related to burnout and work engagement. Specially, job stress was more closely related to burnout, whereas personal resources were more closely related to work engagement. Second, hardiness as personal resources reduced the level of burnout in child counseling. Third, although job stress negatively affected the level of work engagement, personal resources (hardiness, optimism) were relevant predictors of work engagement. Hardy and optimistic child counselors are less likely to experience burnout, they are more likely to experience vigor, dedication, and absorption on their job. Based on the results of this study, the practical implications for child counselors were discussed.

Purpose: This study aimed to describe the experiences of health-care providers about advanced practice nurses (APNs) focusing on the perspectives of physicians and APNs in Korea. Methods: Qualitative data were collected with snowball sampling. Six physicians and 13 APNs participated in this study through in-depth interviews or a focus-group interview. Qualitative content analysis was employed. Results: Three themes and seven categories were emerged. Three themes were 1) challenging start and attempts to settle down on unfamiliar system, 2) being positioned as an APN at clinical settings, 3) long journey for social recognition and legal institutionalization of APNs' role. Seven categories were 1) challenges to new area, 2) introduction and conflict of APN system, 3) driving force for stepping toward becoming APNs, 4) dedication and commitment to role development, 5) efforts to prove APNs' competency, 6) approaches to guarantee legal APNs' activities, and 7) filling the gap in health-care service. Conclusion: The findings suggest that health-care providers who have collaborated with APNs are aware of the needs to operate APN system more stably through the legislation of APNs' scope of practices. Further research is needed to provide the evidences of APNs' practice outcomes such as health care quality, patient safety, reduction of medical expenses, etc.

The aim of this study is to analyze the functional ego state of public librarians who should take a role of an information intermediary for children and young adults through the ego-gram which is suggested in transactional analysis theory and review their limit and feasibility as instructors. As a result of analysis, the whole ego state type of public librarians is founded to be N-type(Nightingale type) like NP-AC-A-CP-FC. The characteristics of this type can be interpreted as 'to show the tendency of self-denial in spite of their dedication.' So, the public librarians have to do their best to develop A(Adult), CP(Critical Parent) and FC(Free Child) ego state to take the requirements and behaviors of children and young adults in nurturing attitudes and enhance their autonomy and creativity through active mutual interaction. Improving A and FC is also very helpful to decrease their stress and raise their job satisfaction.

International joint ventures are usually formed and managed by domestic companies and foreign investors for the common objectives. They offer an opportunity for each partner to benefit significantly from the comparative advantages of the other. Local partners bring knowledge of the domestic market; familiarity with government bureaucracies and regulations; understanding of local labor markets; and existing manufacturing facilities. Foreign partners can offer advanced process and product technologies, management know-how, and access to export markets. In Korea, joint ventures have been encouraged to usher in foreign investors with foreign currency capital badly needed during the IMF financial crisis. In the meantime, Korean laws and regulations with respect to joint ventures have been largely overhauled to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) both inbound and outbound. They include four types of FDI, i.e., acquisition of foreign stocks, provision of long-term loans, participation in joint operations like resources development, and establishment of foreign offices. From the legal point of view, the formal joint venture agreement must be an offspring of a series of tough negotiations between domestic and foreign partners. They usually stress the long-term relationship with the good will and dedication to each other, and restrict the free transfer of stocks. Both partners are earnestly interested in the ownership and management of the joint venture. So they keep a close eye on the articles of incorporation, changes of business environment, conflict resolution methods, transparency of accounting and other financial matters. When a multinational corporation (MNC) is involved in the joint venture, conflicts over management strategies, marketing and other issues take place more often than not between the MNC and local partners. We have to pay attention to joint ventures, particularly, in China and North Korea. As witnessed in other transition economies, China is eagerly bringing in foreign direct investments for the development of nation's economy. China encourages foreign investors to establish ordinary joint ventures, contractual joint ventures, solely invested foreign capital companies and jointly operated development companies with local partners. In North Korea, however, joint ventures have a different meaning like contractual joint ventures in China, in which North Korean partners have an initiative in the management. Rather, jointly operated companies or simply processing-for-wage companies are recommended in view of the unpredictable legal infrastructure in North Korea.
