The purpose of this study was to analyze the reality of clothes-wearing among physically disabled women and propose trouser designs. As a research method, an in-depth interview method was adopted for 10 women in their 30s and 50s with lower limb disabilities who could wear trousers and use wheelchairs. The study results identified the following factors that should be considered in the design of trousers. First, a semi-casual design that could hide physical deficiencies, was not different from ready-made clothes and enabled various looks was desirable. Second, the proper material would have little transformation in the form, have remarkable durability and laundry fastness, two-directional stretch, and hide deficiencies with a sense of thickness and density. Third, an "L-frame" pattern in a sitting position, and a straight fit were desirable. Finally, pockets can impose pressure according to their form, size, position, and sewing method, highlighted the need for a sewing approach to minimize seams in the fabric. For adjustment, an elastic band would be a good choice in terms of type, length, position, and material as it could satisfy both the convenience of putting on and taking off and comfort in wearing at the same time. Decorative design details can also impose pressure according to a sense of thickness, which means that they should be avoided in parts that are close to the body or can impose pressure according to posture.

You can also use a visual representation of the beauty obviously sophisticated pattern that appears frequently in Baekje, was also emphasized inheritance and traditions of Korea. We also attempted a new way to make sure we can diversify and whether it is possible as a new form, enhance the value of products, from concept to molt general existing tourism products.

Among the many factors affecting fashion trends, the concept of war has been particularly instrumental throughout human history. Specifically, military uniforms worn during the WWI and WWII became popular fashion styles that introduced military uniforms to modern fashion and continue to be influential to this day. And the fashion accessories market is continuously demanding new styles. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons why military uniforms have been continued to be influential in contemporary fashion, to apply fashionable features of military uniforms, and to make leather accessories by using leather-carving techniques. The characteristics of military uniforms were analyzed in advance research, domestic and international literature, and cases applied in modrern fashion collection. In conclusion, five modern fashion accessories were developed by combining the form, function, and decorative elements of the military uniform that have been constantly reflected in modern fashion with leather handcraft carving techniques. This study is meant to suggest the possibility of developing artistic and original fashion accessories that are both practical and reflect the history of military uniforms.

Nowadays, there has been a trend about drinking coffee due to remarkable expansion of market, but the market is occupied by less franchise cafes having a lot of branches, and small private cafes are just few percentage. On other aspects, there will be a good effect of more active economy when private cafes are more active through this domestic situation of market which has the high rate of private business. Therefore, it is necessary to research design of fasade and especially fixed features on private cafes located in Busan Jeonpo cafe street by maketing of sensibility. firstly, there is the analysis about trends and features of fixed factors, and secondly, there is deep analysis about structural. and decorated factors. Furthermore, as a result of the analysis of similarities and differences, the variations in the design of private cafe will be understanded. whenever structural and decorated factors are balanced, for the design is more worthy, there will be formed basis of analysis in trends. In addition, the basic data research which includes anaysis and comparisons in structural and decorative factors will be used to improve appropriate design.

This study aims to investigate the socio-cultural background of Poulaines, which influenced fashion and contemporary shoe design. Analyzing the characteristics of the Poulaines provided basic data for different shoes. The study method utilized previous studies to explore the concept and characteristics of Poulaines. In the empirical analysis, shoe design data mainly came from collections that illustrate formative elements of contemporary shoe design from the 2010 S/S season to the 2020 S/S season. A total of 709 photo materials were collected and analyzed. The results showed that the morphological characteristics of Poulaines were exaggerated to symbolize classes of the past and sexual expression. The expanding structure was divided into the fore nose, heel, and top-line and featured a design that expressed the formative beauty of Poulaines. Additionally, the decorative desire to represent wealth and class using various materials introduced new designs into contemporary shoe designs while showing extreme decorativeness through over-trimming and color contrast. Furthermore, the heterogeneous characteristics that come from the change and harmony of the shoes' body and heel that deviated from the existing shoe shapes were classified into the dissolution of shapes and mixing and matching. Thus, they broke the monotonous silhouette of shoes and gave variety delicately.

Qiang ethnic group is one of the fifty-six ethnic minorities in China, and Qiang embroidery, as an important achievement of Qiang's intangible cultural heritage, is the precipitation and testimony of the history and culture of the Qiang ethnic group. However, with the development of the times, traditional and ancient Qiang embroidery is facing a dilemma due to the problem of a single form of communication. Therefore, it is necessary to add new communication media for Qiang embroidery to help it spread and develop better. In this paper, we extract the core representative patterns of Qiang embroidery, use the "shape grammars" as the rules of morphological changes, and generate new decorative pattern patterns with the characteristics of Qiang embroidery by adding, deleting, mirroring, rotating, and other relevant rules of changes, and combine the new patterns with the rules of formal beauty to combine the layout, which is then applied in the design of different cultural creations and products. The new patterns are combined with the rules of formal beauty and applied in the design of different cultural and creative products. To provide a quantitative method for the digital protection of Qiang embroidery in the new era of Chinese traditional art, and also provide new ideas for the industrialization application.

This study is focused on finding out the differences in wearing robe styles of Buddhist Statues between Shilla and Tien-lung Mountain. (1) Shilla Buddhist Statues are wearing Pyun-Sam that is similar to Jeogori(the traditional jacket of Korea). (2) Bok-Gyen-Uy of Tien-lung Buddhist Statues are roundish shape, and that of Shilla Buddhist Statues are oblique line. It is possible to conclude that these shapes are very concerned with the wearing style of each nation. (3) We can find another difference in the chest sash. Chest sach of Tien-lung Buddhist Statues is more functional, but that of Shilla Buddhist Statues is more decorative. (4) Wearing Kasa, Young-Ja(i,e.string of kasa) is used in Shilla Buddhist Statues, but not in Tien-lung Buddhist Statues. This the most different thing between Shilla Buddhist Statues and Tien-lung Buddhist Statues.

Art Nouveau was a short-lived European phenomenon in art and architecture. Despite the fact that Art Nouveau architecture never fully succeeded as an anti-historical movement, it is important to identify its place in modern architectural historiography. The significance of Art Nouveau-that it incorporated decorative elements into the centre of architectural practice-certainly serves to acknowledge its place within the Modern Movement. Architectural works of Victor Horta, Hector Guimard and Charles Rennie Mackintosh are carefully examined in this paper to find out (1) how they individually emerged and manifested distinctive characteristics and creativity within their own local contexts, and (2) how they can collectively fit into historical discourse of Art Nouveau. Art Nouveau was not a mere fin-de-ci cle phenomenon, but a complicated transient phase at the dawn of European Modernism.

Recently, there are many communication softwares based on text on various smart devices. Unlike traditional print publishing, mobile publishing and SNS tools tends to utilize more decorative or more emotional fonts so that users can pass some feelings from contents. So font providers have released new fonts which deal with the requirements of the market. Nevertheless being released lots of new fonts, general users have not used them because they searched only by font name or font provider's name. It means that there is no way for users to know and find new things. In this study, we suggest font shape classification rules for font registration system based on font design features. We proved the validity of classification standard study through some experiments with 50 commercial fonts. Also the result of this study was provided for Korea Telecommunication Technology Association and adopted by the Korea industrial standard.

This paper examines the conventional notion of natural beauty and its legacy on the aesthetic experience of nature and landscape architecture in terms of critical perspective. We can take its clue for discussion from the our routine convention of experiencing natural beauty from the picture-like nature. We often equate natural beauty with superficial representations of nature shown in pictures. However, it is no more than a by-stander's nature seen purely through the eyes of the outsider. Problems of the picture-like nature can be summarized as the contemplative and visual-oriented aesthetic experience of landscape, which has had its influence not only on the ways of seeing the natural beauty but also on the ways of making it. The tradition of the picture-like nature has been transplanted into the real world through the practice of landscape architecture. It has been mass-producing superficial beauty of nature, focused on visual form. Landscape architecture in such a form is just a static means of decoration devoid of meaning and content.
