  • Accoarding as a specimen for reinforced concrete bridge deck was designed by each researcher's opinions, its size and shape was variable. Therefore, it makes difficult to comparison with other experiments. In the result of researching papers for design method of reinforced concrete bridge deck specimens, there is hardly found. The target of this study is introduction of the design method of a reinforced concrete bridge deck specimen. The most important point for the specimen design is materialization of the curvature of the real bridge deck. The result of this study appears that the specimens thickness effects highly to fit for the real reinforced concrete bridge deck's curvature.

  • There are a lot of problem about waterproofing membrane coating for concrete deck of bridge and waterproofing sheets for concrete of deck of bridge because it couldn't confirm waterproofing's defeat after construction. These problems make a waterproofing material damage and condrete deck of bridge damage. So It needs a lot of money for repair work and reinforcement work. Therefor the structure slab of using waterproofing material protect invasion of water. Also, Concrete deck of bridge need a endurance permeability for the reduction repair payment. In this study, An experimental study on the quality standardization test method waterproofing layer on working of live load.

  • This paper presents a 3D nonlinear analysis with slip in steel-concrete hybrid deck. In this study, it was founded that the limit slip modulus could classify the states of steel-concrete hybrid deck into three parts as full-composite, partial-composite, and non-composite, considering the longitudinal behavior and end-slip as well as the yield load and ultimate load of it. Also, it proved that the stress of lower steel plate at the support was increased, because of frictional forces by reaction forces in the steel-concrete hybrid deck. The end-slip did not occur near the full-composite state, but it was largely increased as the slip modulus decreased. On the basis of the EC 4, the state of steel-concrete hybrid deck classified into brittle behavior and ductile one using the end-slip of it

  • Now, a long span and special types of steel deck bridges like as suspention or cable state bridges are increasing and Guss Asphalt used in pavement. But Guss Asphalt may caused severe stress and displacement of the bridge as it is treated using very high temperature ranging from $220^{\circ}C\;to\;260^{\circ}C$. In this paper, a series of numerical tests of a steel deck box arch bridge were conducted to estimate the thermal effect of a steel deck bridge according to temperature changes.

  • Owing to its special features of light weight, high durability, corrosion-resistant, composite material used in civil infrastructure can not only solve fundamental problems of deterioration and corrosion, but also reduce both construction and maintenance cost significantly. Composite deck panels of 스냅핏 type connection previously designed and fabricated have been redesigned herein. The sensitivity of gaps between snap-fits and tip angles was investigated. Stacking sequence of plies was scrutinized in order to facilitate pultrusion process. Deck panels of redesigned configuration due to bending has been analyzed. A comparison between the preliminary and modified deck design has been made.

  • Weight minimization of double-deck train carbody is imperative to reduce cost and extend life-time of train. It is required to decide 36 thickness of aluminum extruded panels. However, the design variables are two many to tract. moreover, one execution of structural analysis of double-deck carbody is time-consuming. Therefore, we adopt approximation technique to save computational cost of optimization process. Response surface model is used to apporximate static response of double-deck carbody. To obtain plausible response surface model, orthogonal array is empolyed as design of experiment(DOE). Design improvement by approximate model-based optimization is described. Accuracy and efficiency of optimization by using response surface model are discussed.

  • This paper provides the results of a study on the structural behavior of the composite slabs using the metal form deck plate. Cold-formed steel deck sections are used in many composite floor slab applications wherein the steel deck serves not only as the form for the concrete during construction but also as the principal tensile reinforcement for the bottom fiber of the composite slab. A total of 16 specimens are tested to clarify the composite action between the concrete and metal deck plate and to find the method to increase the composite effect, whether or not non-slip bars are used. The test results are summarized for the shear-bond capacities, deformation capacities, and failure modes for the specimens.

  • In domestic composite bridges, it has been reported that most failure is occurred in deck and the type of failure was mainly punching shear failure. Therefore to increase a life of bridges and reduce maintenance costs, an improvement of a durability of slabs is needed. In these respects, precast deck can be very useful. In a composite bridge with precast decks, it is required to notice behavior of transverse joints between decks. In this paper, bending tests of precast deck with loop joints were conducted. From the results, the validity of loop joints for continuity of deck was observed and especially an interval of loop joint, diameter of loop and reinforcement were checked.

  • This paper presents a experimental structural performance of steel-concrete hybrid bridge deck, which has studs to connect steel plate and concrete and T beam to improve structural performance, by steel plate shape, studs and load location. It proved that steel-concrete hybrid deck has a high structural performance and lightweight due to the efficient use of steel plate as a structural member, which has only used as formwork. In failure mode, few specimen failed at punching shear and many specimen at concrete crushing, therefore proved it has sufficient stability to punching shear which is the most frequent damage of bridge deck. Steel-concrete hybrid deck of plane steel plate has a high structural performance, and that of corrugated steel plate has a high reduction of weight.

  • Dynamic characteristics of CD/DVD deck fur vehicle are analyzed in this paper. Generally CD/DVD deck for vehicle is used from inferior environment with the vibration of the vehicle, shock of outside and so on. Therefore it must have the structure which is stabilized from the vibration to prevent read error. For this purpose, vibration characteristic of the deck for vehicle should be identified. To analyze characteristic of the deck system, we perform the signal analysis and modal testing using the EFT analyzer. Also we change the design factor degrading the performance of the deck system and verify the efficiency improvement using the acceleration measurement occurring to the sound discontinuation.
