Design of an USB Security Framework for Double Use Detection (이중사용 방지를 위한 USB 보안 프레임워크의 설계)

  • Recently, the development of internet technology makes user's personal data used by being saved in USB. But there is a critical issue that personal data can be exposed with malicious purpose because that personal data doesn't need to be certificate to use. This paper proposes USB security framework to prevent a duplicate use of personal data for protecting the data which in USB. The proposed USB security framework performs certification process of user with additional 4bite of user's identification data and usage choice of USB security token before certification data when the framework uses USB security product in different network. It makes communication overhead and service delay increased. As a result of the experiment, packet certification delay time is more increased by average 7.6% in the proposed USB security framework than simple USB driver and USB Token, and procedure rate of certification server on the number of USB is also increased by average 9.8%.

  • The ballistic range has long been employed in a variety of engineering fields such as high-speed impact engineering, projectile aerodynamics and aeroballistics, since it can create very high-pressure states in a short time. Since the operation of the ballistic range includes many complicated processes, each should be studied in detail for the best operation of the device. One of the main processes which have a major influence in its operation is the compression of the driver gas. Most of the studies available in this field hardly discuss this process in detail and thus lack a proper understanding of its effect. In the present study, a computational analysis has been made to investigate the compression process in the pump tube of a ballistic range. The results obtained are validated with some experimental data. It is seen that the pump tube parameters and the piston mass significantly affect the compression process and the time to build up the required diaphragm rupture pressure.

  • Absolute position detector which is one of the major equipment in the field of factory automation, not only perceives the absolute position of the rotary machine but also outputs switch data according to the given angle. Absolute position detector is composed of sensor module and its controller. In this paper, a sensor driver is implemented using FPGA with VHDL. This chip has a less form factor than conventional circuit. A test shows reliable precision within THD(total harmonic distortion) of 0.2% which can be applicable commercially. Also, FPGA-based phase error compensation methods were newly discussed. In the future, more research will be conducted to enhance the precision by the introduction of 3-phase transformer.

  • In this study, the design of advanced LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signaling) I/O interface circuit with new structural low triggering ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection circuit was investigated. Due to the differential transmission technique and low power consumption at the same time. Maximum transmission data ratio of designed LVDS transmitter was simulated to 5Gbps. And Zener Triggered SCR devices to protect the ESD phenomenon were designed. This structure reduces the trigger voltage by making the zener junction between the lateral PNP and base of lateral NPN in SCR structure. The triggering voltage was simulated to 5.8V. Finally, we performed the layout high speed I/O interface circuit with the low triggered ESD protection device in one-chip.

It consists of PLVTSCR (P-type Low Voltage Trigger SCR), control NMOS and RC network. The triggering voltage was simulated to 3.6V. And the latch-up characteristics were improved. Finally, we performed the layout high speed I/O interlace circuit with the low triggered ESD protection device in one-chip.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented for multi-axis force control systems of an intelligence robot. A web based monitoring system is implemented by porting Linux at embedded systems which include a Xscale processor. A device driver is developed to receive data from multi-axis force sensors in Linux operation systems. To control this device driver, a socket program for the Labview is also developed.

  • In this paper, we proposed a method for vehicle monitoring with trajectory reconstruction. For safety, it is important to monitor the driving habit of driver. Every year, many accidents occur due to the reckless driving of the driver. Continuous monitoring of the status of commercial vehicles is needed for safety through the entire path from start point to the destination. To monitor the reckless driving, we try to monitor the trajectory of the vehicle by using vehicle's lateral acceleration data. Compared with steering angle and lateral acceleration, these resemble each other. So, we find the relationship of steering angle and acceleration, and find the global direction of vehicle. We find the position of non-GPS section with EKF (External Kalman Filter) and reconstruct the whole trajectory during vehicle driving.

  • Among the technologies for implementing autonomous vehicles, advanced driver assistance system is a key technology to support driver's safe driving. In the technology using the vision sensor having a high utility, various preprocessing methods are used prior to feature extraction for lane detection. However, in the existing methods, the unnecessary lane candidates such as cars, lawns, and road separator in the road area are false positive. In addition, there are cases where the lane candidate itself can not be extracted in the area under the overpass, the lane within the dark shadow, the center lane of yellow, and weak lane. In this paper, we propose an efficient preprocessing method using k-means clustering for image division and the HSV color model. When the proposed preprocessing method is applied, the true positive region is maximally maintained during the lane detection and many false positive regions are removed.
