수중 프로펠러의 소음 예측에 관한 연구(Part 1. 비공동 소음) (Numerical Analysis of Underwater Propeller Noise(Part 1. Non-Cavitating Noise))

  • The non-cavitating noise of underwater propeller is considered numerically in this study. The main purpose is to analyze non-cavitating noise from underwater propellers in various operating conditions with different configurations. Noise is predicted by using time-domain acoustic analogy, boundary element method, and computational hydro-acoustics. The flow field is analyzed with potential-based panel method, and then time-dependant pressure data are used as the input for Focus Williams-Hawkings formulation to predict far field acoustics. Furthermore, boundary element method and computational hydro-acoustics are also considered to investigate duct propeller and ducted multi-stage propeller to consider the reflection and diffraction of sound waves. With this methodology, noise intensity and directivity of each noise sources could be well analyzed.

  • The awareness of the high-value industry for container terminal leads competitiveness of container terminals to keep high fiercely. In regards to competitive factors of container terminal, the most important point among several factors is seemed to be the speed of container loading and unloading on quayside. In container terminals in Korea, the productivity shows big difference even though its condition is similar to each terminal. The objective of this paper is to find the critical factors of container terminal productivity, which is dependant upon the capability, quantity of quay crane, transfer vehicle, and so on. For this purpose, we have researched related literatures, and collected data about container terminals in South Korea. Furthermore, we tested sensitive analysis to evaluate the extent of productivity by changing independent variable. And then we established the regression model to evaluate which factor has had the biggest impact on productivity. The results of this paper can give terminal operators guideline to improve productivity.

  • The electric power industry throughout the world is undergoing considerable changes from the vertically integrated utility structure to the deregulated market. However, the deregulated electricity market is operated with respect to theory of economical efficiency, and therefore, the system operator requires data with fast contingency ranking for security of the bulk power system. This paper presents fast calculation method for determining contingency ranking using the weather dependant probabilistic risk index(PRI). The probabilistic risk index can be classified into normal weather and adverse weather. This paper proposes calculation method using the probabilistic risk index in determining contingency ranking requiring for security under the deregulated electricity market.

기상상태에 따른 국내 원형교차로 사고모형 (Accident Models of Circular Intersections by Weather Condition in Korea)

  • This study deals with the traffic accidents by weather condition. The objectives are to comparatively analyze the characteristics, and to develop the models of traffic accidents by weather condition. In pursuing the above, this paper gives particular attentions to testing the differences between two groups, and developing the models(Poisson and negative binomial regression) using the data of domestic circular intersections. The main results are as follows. First, three Poisson models and one negative binomial models which were all statistically significant were developed using the number of accident and EPDO by the clear weather and other as the dependant variables. Second, the differences between two models were comparatively analyzed using the chosen variables. This paper might be expected to give some implications to traffic safety policy-making to reduce and prevent the traffic accidents in circular intersections.

  • The deregulated electricity market is operated with respect to theory of economical efficiency, and therefore, the system operator requires data with fast contingency ranking for security of the bulk power system. This paper compares the weather dependant probabilistic risk index(PRI) with the system performance index for power flow in the IEEE-RBTS. also, the system performance index for power flow presents the power system stability.   • Rapid Prototyping has made a drastic change in all industries which needs to reduce the time for the development of new products. Orientation and packing in rapid prototyping is considered as the most important factors to maximize the utilization of space in the build chamber and reduce build time. However, the decision of these parameter is mainly dependant on the operators's experience. This paper presents the methodology to find the optimal build layout considering an orientation and packing of multiple parts in SLS processing. Each part is represented as a voxel structure to deal with the inefficiency in a bounding box approach. Test results show that the adapted BL algorithm with a genetic algorithm(GA) can be applicable to a real industry.

  • 본 연구에서는, ADS-B 개념을 기반으로 한국항공우주연구원에서 개발한 지대지 감시 test bed를 통한 TIS-B, 활주로 침입방지, 충돌경고, 경로지정 등의 기능에 대한 평가가 이루어졌다. STDMA 프로토콜을 채용한 VDL과, TIS-B 정보를 얻기 위해 UAT가 사용되었으며, 이동체로서 4대의 지상차량과 2대의 항공기가 포함되었다. 본 연구의 주목적은 지대지 감시에서의 ADS-B 개념을 구현하고 그 성능을 평가하는 것이다.

기존선 해빙시스템을 위한 해빙전류 예측기법 및 구성 절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deicing Current Estimation Technique and Configuration Process for Deicing System in the Conventional Line)

  • Deicing system is to melt frost or ice freezed in catenary line when the temperature is lower than $0^{\circ}C$ in winter. The principle of deicing system is to melt frost or ice by Joule heat of catenary impedance. The performance of deicing is dependant of deicing current determined by the length of deicing section, deicing impedance and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line. So, we present technique for estimating deicing current and process for determination of deicing section in the conventional line. Deicing impedance is estimated using Carson-Pollaczek equation, and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line is estimated using voltage drop, and deicing current is estimated using power system data of deicing system. For the determination of the final deicing section, we verified estimated value comparing with experiment value of deicing impedance and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line using low voltage experiment. Finally, we verified the validity of estimation technique and process using a simulated test data of real deicing system operation in the Chungju Substation, Chungbuk line.

  • 기관실 시뮬레이터에서 3상유도전동기에 대한 모델링을 단순하게 처리하는 경우에는 왜곡된 특성에 의해 각종 전기 기계적 모의 성능 수준이 크게 저하된다. 한편, 전동기 특성을 1, 2차 측 파라미터로 구분하는 기존의 등가회로 방식들은 복잡한 실험을 거치거나 상세 기술 자료가 확보되지 않고는 현장 전동기에 대한 회로에서의 파라미터 값들을 확정하지 못한다는 점에서 정격제원 정도만 주어지는 기관실 시뮬레이터의 개발 작업 환경에서는 사용할 수가 없다. 이러한 문제의 해결을 위해 본 논문에서는 최소 파라미터에 의한 전원 직결의 2 회로정수 방식 등가회로를 제시하였으며 이로부터 정격제원에 의해 회로정수가 결정되기까지의 조건과 과정 및 관련 식들을 해석하였다. 또한 실제 전동기에 이를 적용하여 얻어지는 특성곡선들을 통해 임의의 전동기에 대한 근사특성과 실용성을 확인하였다.

중년층의 라이프스타일 유형 및 노인주거 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Lilfestyle types of the Middle Ages and Senior Housing Characteristics)

  • Recently elderly has been recognized as a healthy and active generation because of extended average life span by medical development, interests in health, and achieved economic power while elderly was regarded as a passive and dependant generation before. The primary purpose of this study was to analyze the lifestyle types and housing consciousness of the middle ages around fifty's who will have more inclinations in the future to consider the hosing problems of elderly. To collect the data, LOV survey method was used for 600 middle ages about their lifestyles and future housing types. The data analysis used SPSS PC 12.0 to find the frequency, chi-square, factor analysis, and cluster analysis. The results of analysis are as follows: First, the lifestyle was segmented into five groups and there were differences on demographics such as education and income, also on housing sizes and types of home-ownership types. Second, there were different preferences on the types of senior housing by different lifestyles whereas there were similar on the location and sizes of houses by different clusters.
