  • In recent years, dramatic advances in information technology have motivated the construction industry to improve its productivity. Computer-based information technology includes Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Digital Mock-Up (DMU) and Product Data Management (PDM). Most construction industries are trying to apply these technologies for quality improvement, reduction of construction time and cost. PDM is very useful for managing data and process related to product design and manufacturing. PDM system has various functions such as drawing and engineering document management, product structure and structure modification management, part classification management, workflow management, and project management. In this paper, PDM system was applied to the design of steel-concrete composite girder bridge. To make a practical guidance for PDM implementation to bridge design, the procedure for its implementation was presented. Consequently, this paper could be useful to enhance the efficiency of bridge design.

Estimation of high-dimensional sparse cross correlation matrix

  • On the motivation by an integrative study of multi-omics data, we are interested in estimating the structure of the sparse cross correlation matrix of two high-dimensional random vectors. We rewrite the problem as a multiple testing problem and propose a new method to estimate the sparse structure of the cross correlation matrix. To do so, we test the correlation coefficients simultaneously and threshold the correlation coefficients by controlling FRD at a predetermined level α. Further, we apply the proposed method and an alternative adaptive thresholding procedure by Cai and Liu (2016) to the integrative analysis of the protein expression data (X) and the mRNA expression data (Y) in TCGA breast cancer cohort. By varying the FDR level α, we show that the new procedure is consistently more efficient in estimating the sparse structure of cross correlation matrix than the alternative one.

  • Since the G20 summit in 2011, South Korea who was dependent on foreign energy needs of 97% receives natural gas from Russia from 2015 to 30 years, but South Korea is a situation of scarce experience and skills of pipeline project in permafrost area. In this study, we kept the target for analyzing the data and information flow of the pipeline projects in permafrost area, and the ultimate goal is set to developing the hierarchy structure of design and construction data for an efficient administration of the project. In order to develop that structure, Configuration Management was introduced and through this method, it is expected to be used to build the overall information management system in O&M phase.

  • In this paper, we discuss model identification of nonlinear data using GAs-based Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks(GAs-FPNN). Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks(FPNN) is proposed model based Group Method Data Handling(GMDH) and Neural Networks(NNs). Each node of FPNN is expressed Fuzzy Polynomial Neuron(FPN). Network structure of nonlinear data is created using Genetic Algorithms(GAs) of optimal search method. Accordingly, GAs-FPNN have more inflexible than the existing models (in)from structure selecting. The proposed model select and identify its for optimal search of Genetic Algorithms that are no. of input variables, input variable numbers and consequence structures. The GAs-FPNN model is select tuning to input variable number, number of input variable and the last part structure through optimal search of Genetic Algorithms. It is shown that nonlinear data model design using Genetic Algorithms based FPNN is more usefulness and effectiveness than the existing models.

  • 기타는 내부 구조와 재질에 따라, 기타 음의 특성이 달라진다. 개발된 장치는 기타 내부 구조와 재질의 변동에 따른 기타 음의 분석을 컴퓨터로 처리하여 data base화 할 수 있도록 한 장치이다. 시스템의 구성은, 기타 내부 구조를 쉽게 변경할 수 있도록 한 기구부와, 다 채널의 음향 입력을 A/D 변환하여 DSP 보드에서 처리 한 후 RS232C를 통하여 PC 에 입력하는 방법으로 음량를 수집할 수 있는 입력 장치부와, 입력된 데이터를 컴퓨터에서 data base화 하여 쉽게 조회 및 분석 할 수 있도록 하는 소프트웨어로 구성되어 있다.

  • ICBMA(IoT, Cloud, Big Data, Mobile, AI)로 대변되는 정보기술의 발전은 데이터의 급증과 이를 수용하기 위한 데이터센터의 수적, 양적 증가로 이어지고 있다. 이에 데이터센터를 사회 중요 기반시설로 인식하고, 테러 공격 대응 등 안전성 확보를 위해서는 사전에 물리보안 위협의 식별이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 위협의 식별과 분류를 쉽게 처리할 목적으로 물리보안 위협 분할도(PS-TBS)를 개발하고, 전문가 설문조사를 통하여 개발 된 물리보안 위협 분할도의 타당성과 효용성을 검증한다. 또한 위협 분할도의 항목에 대해 상세 정의를 통해 실무 활용을 통한 물리보안 수준 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

Bridge Health Monitoring with Consideration of Environmental Effects

  • Reliable response measurements are extremely important for proper bridge health monitoring but incomplete and unreliable data may be acquired due to sensor problems and environmental effects. In the case of a sensor malfunction, parts of the measured data can be missing so that the structural health condition cannot be monitored reliably. This means that the dynamic characteristics of natural frequencies can change as if the structure is damaged due to environmental effects, such as temperature variations. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes a systematic procedure of data analysis to recover missing data and eliminate the environmental effects from the measured data. It also proposes a health index calculated statistically using revised data to evaluate the health condition of a bridge. The proposed method was examined using numerically simulated data with a truss structure and then applied to a set of field data measured from a cable-stayed bridge.

항공안전데이터 구조 분석 및 표준 분류체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Aviation Safety Data Structure and Standard Classification)

  • In order to enhance the safety of the international aviation industry, the International Civil Aviation Organization has recommended establishing an operational foundation for systematic and integrated collection, storage, analysis and sharing of aviation safety data. Accordingly, the Korea aviation industry also needs to comprehensively manage the safety data which generated and collected by various stakeholders related to aviation safety, and through this, it is necessary to previously identify and remove hazards that may cause accident. For more effective data management and utilization, a standard structure should be established to enable integrated management and sharing of safety data. Therefore, this study aims to propose the framework about how to manage and integrate the aviation safety data for big data-based aviation safety management and shared platform.

대용량 BIM 형상 데이터 스트리밍을 위한 캐쉬 구조 (BIM Geometry Cache Structure for Data Streaming with Large Volume)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 물리적 메모리 할당이 어려운 대용량 BIM(Building Information Modeling) 형상 데이터를 처리하기 위한 캐쉬(cache) 구조를 제안한다. 조달청 등 공공기관에서 BIM 발주가 많아짐에 따라 대용량 BIM 형상 데이터를 가시화하고, 계산해야 하는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 규모가 크고 복합적인 시설물의 경우, 렌더링 및 계산해야하는 형상 수가 많아 사용자가 BIM 모델을 검토하고, 단면을 확인하는 데 어려움을 겪는 경우가 있다. 예를 들어, 설계, 검토 협업 시, 대용량 BIM 데이터를 네트워크를 통해 전달받아야 할 경우, 다운로드에 많은 시간이 걸릴 수 있고, 물리적 여유 메모리 한계를 넘어가면, 에러로 가시화나 형상정보 추출이 불가능할 수도 있다. 물리적 메모리가 부족하거나 대역폭이 적은 네트워크 상에서 대용량 BIM 데이터를 활용하기 위해서는, BIM 형상 렌더링 및 계산 시점에 필요한 데이터만 메모리로 캐쉬(cache) 처리하는 것이 유리하다. 이 연구는 물리적 메모리 할당이 어려운 대용량 BIM 형상 데이터를 효과적으로 렌더링하고 계산하기 위한 BIM 형상 캐쉬 구조를 제안한다.
