  • Clustering algorithms with different similarity measures are commonly used to find an optimal clustering or close to original clustering. The recovery level of using Euclidean distance and distances transformed from correlation coefficients is evaluated and compared using Rand's (1971) C statistic. The C values present how the resultant clustering is close to the original clustering. In simulation study, the recovery level is improved by applying the correlation coefficients between objects. Using the data set from Spellman et al. (1998), the recovery levels with different similarity measures are also presented. In general, the recovery level of true clusters was increased by using the correlation coefficients.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to discover the recovery process of those having had myocardial infarction. Methods: 15 participants with myocardial infarction were recruited by theoretical sampling methods. The data were retrieved through in depth interview, participant observation, and medical records of the patients. Collected data were analyzed through grounded theory approach of Strauss and Corbin(1998). Results: 63 concepts, 27 subcategories, and 11 categories were deduced from the open coding process. The recovery process of myocardial infarction showed to be a process of 'Controling healthy track', and chronological recovery process was a four-step process of recognizing disruption of healthy track, making efforts for controlling the disrupted healthy track, reconstructing the new healthy track, and adapting to the new healthy track phase. 'Controling healthy track' had three types of self-initiation, contention of reality, and fateful acceptance. Conclusion: The results provided basic information for nursing intervention strategies depending on 'Controling healthy track' process by each phase and different types.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify degree of quality of life and recovery of mental disorder, to determine the factors affecting the quality of life. Methods: The data were collected from May 20 to 27 2013. Data were collected by questionaire from 310 individuals with mental disorder. The instruments for this study were Happy-Quality of Life Scale(Happy-QoL), Recovery. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple linear regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The degree of quality of life and recovery of mental disorder were lower than in the middle. The significant factors influencing quality of life were recovery(${\beta}=.66$, p<.001) and average monthly household income(${\beta}=.09$, p=.039). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop the program that increasing the level of recovery and quality of life.

  • Tn the data transmission service of the mobile host, it is needed to reduce the bandwidth and to make a reliable error recovery. there are two appropriate methods in that. One is FEC which retransmits the parity of error recovery, in case of happening of the loss after forming the parity of error recovery by grouping original data. The other is local recovery based on server which can block the implosion of transmission. The use of FEC and local recovery based on server at the same time enables the reliable multicast. This paper suggests algorithm that recovers the loss by FEC and local recovery based on server through the solution of the problems about triangle routing, tunnel convergence by dividing mobile host into two parts-the sender and the receiver. This model about the loss of algorithm tested the efficiency of performance by the homogeneous independent loss, the heterogeneous independent loss, the shared source link loss model. The suggested algorithm confirms effectiveness in the environment where there are much data and many receivers in mobile host.

  • A disaster is the time-excess case that computerized service can tolerate a failure and financial industry is being set up the disaster recovery system based on the disaster recovery plan and the business continuity plan for preparing these disasters. However, existing system can not guarantee the business continuity when it comes to cyber terror. This paper analyzes the building type and building technology of disaster recovery system for the financial fields. Also this paper explain the type of data backup using online redo log and type of archive log backup using WORM storage. And this paper proposes the model of improved data recovery combining above two types. Lastly this paper confirm the effectiveness and reliability for proposal rocovery model through the implementation of the test environment.

  • This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of anxiety between adolescents' smartphone overdependence and fatigue recovery, and to secure the evidence data for adolescents' smartphone overdependence intervention. Among the 16th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 54,948 students were included. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, factor analysis, mediating effect analysis. The results were as follows. Smartphone overdependence had a direct effect on fatigue recovery and an indirect effect on fatigue recovery through anxiety. Smartphone overdependence had a significant effect on anxiety and fatigue recovery. Also, anxiety is verified as the mediation effect between smartphone overdependence and fatigue recovery. When we prepare intervention programs which improve fatigue recovery for adolescents, we need to consider anxiety.

  • The major role of temperature sensors in thermal error compensation system of machine tools is improving machining accuracy by supplying reliable temperature data on the machine structure. This paper presents a new method for fault diagnosis of temperature sensors and recovery of faulted data to establish the reliability of thermal error compensation system. The detection of fault and its location is based on the correlation coefficients among temperature data from the sensors. The multiple linear regression model which is prepared using complete normal data is also used fur the recovery of faulted data. The effectiveness of this method was tested by comparing the computer simulation results and measured data in a CNC machining center.

  • Novel 622Mb/s burst-mode clock and data recovery (CDR) circuits with muxed oscillators are realized for passive optical network (PON) application. The CDR circuits are implemented with 0.35$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS process technology. Lock is accomplished on the first data transition and data are sampled in the optimal point. The experimental results show that the proposed CDR circuits recover the incoming 400Mbps-680Mbps burst mode input data without error.

  • In wireless sensor networks, the importance of transporting data correctly with reliability is increasing gradually along with the need to support communications between the nodes and sink. Data flow from the sink to the nodes requires reliability for control or management that is very sensitive and intolerant of error; however, data flow from the nodes to the sink is relatively tolerant. In this paper, with emphasis on the data flow from the sink to the nodes, we propose a mechanism that considers accurate transport with reliability hop-by-hop. During the process of sending the data, if errors occur or data is missing, the proposed mechanism supports error recovery using a fixed window with selective acknowledgment. In addition, this mechanism supports congestion control depending on the buffer condition. Through the simulation, we show that this mechanism is accurate, reliable, and proper for transport in wireless sensor networks.

  • Purpose: This study aims at confirming the effects of the chest meridian massage on the post-anesthetic recovery of general anesthesia appendectomy patients. Method: The research was post-test designed as a nonequivalent control group among quasi-experiments tested. The data was collected from June 20, 2003 to October 14, 2003 at a hospital in P city. In the collected data, using SPSS Win 10.0 program, these general features were analyzed by real numbers and percentages; the homogeneity among variables by $X^2-test$ and t-test and the research hypothesis by the t-test. Result: Hypothesis 1; The experimental group receiving the treatment of the chest meridian massage will have a much higher post-anesthetic recovery score than that of the control group not receiving it was supported(t=2.544, p=.014). Hypothesis 2; The experimental group receiving the treatment of the chest meridian massage will have a much shorter time of stay in the recovery room than that of the control group not receiving it was supported(t=-4.919, p=.000). Conclusion: According to these results, it may be concluded that Chest Meridian Massage is effective in producing a higher level of post-anesthetic recovery score and helps appendectomy patients reduce the time of stay in the recovery room. Therefore the chest meridian massage can be considered as an intervention therapy for directly nursing general anesthesia appendectomy patients.
