  • Computing Performance, sensor, storage, memory, and network costs have been steadily declining, and IoT services have recently become more active. The Internet of Things is linked with Big Data to create new business, and public institutions and corporations are hurry to import Internet of things. As the importance of the Internet of things has increased, the number of devices supporting the IoT has rapidly increased. With the development of the Internet of Things, various types of Internet services are being developed. For this reason, there is an increasing demand for IoT service designers and developers for IoT service case automatic search technology. IoT service designers can avoid duplication with existing services through service case retrieval and developers can save cost and time by combining existing reusable service equipment. This paper proposes IoT-Lite ontology for IoT and Semantic Web service to solve the above-mentioned problems. The existing ontologies for IoT, despite its many advantages, are not widely used by developers because it has not overcome the relatively slow drawbacks of increasing complexity and searching for development. To complement this, this study uses the IoT-Lite ontology introduced by W3C as a model and a semantic web service for automatic system retrieval. 3D camera, GPS, and 9-axis sensor, and IoT-Lite designed by IoT-Lite technique are integrated with the semantic technique and implemented directly.

  • The complete mitochondrial genome of a troglobite millipede Antrokoreana gracilipes (Verhoeff, 1938) (Dipolopoda, Juliformia, Julida) was sequenced and characterized. The genome (14,747 bp) contains 37 genes (2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes and 13 protein-encoding genes) and two large non-coding regions (225 bp and 31 bp), as previously reported for two diplopods, Narceus annularus (order Spirobolida) and Thyropygus sp. (order Spirostreptida). The A + T content of the genome is 62.1%, and four tRNAs ($tRNA^{Ser(AGN)}$, $tRNA^{Cys}$, $tRNA^{Ile}$ and $tRNA^{Met}$) have unusual and unstable secondary structures. Whereas Narceus and Thyropygus have identical gene arrangements, the $tRNA^{Thr}$ and $tRNA^{Trp}$ of Antrokoreana differ from them in their orientations and/or positions. This suggests that the Spirobolida and Spirostreptida are more closely related to each other than to the Dipolopoda. Three scenarios are proposed to account for the unique gene arrangement of Antrokoreana. The data also imply that the Duplication and Nonrandom Loss (DNL) model is applicable to the order Julida. Bayesian inference (BI) and maximum likelihood (ML) analyses using amino acid sequences deduced from the 12 mitochondrial protein-encoding genes (excluding ATP8) support the view that the three juliformian members are monophyletic (BI 100%; ML 100%), that Thyropygus (Spirostreptida) and Narceus (Spirobolida) are clustered together (BI 100%; ML 83%), and that Antrokoreana (Julida) is a sister of the two. However, due to conflict with previous reports using cladistic approaches based on morphological characteristics, further studies are needed to confirm the close relationship between Spirostreptida and Spirobolida.

  • The effects of retinoic acid (RA) on the regenerating limbs of Korean newt (Hynobius leechii) larvae have been studied. Intraperitoneal injection of RA at 4 days post-amputation caused the proximalization of regenerate structures in the proximodistal (PD) axis of the limbs amputated through either the distal zeugopodium or the distal stylopodium. The mean level of proximalization (MLP) increased as a dose-dependent manner, and the MLP was also dependent on the level of amputation at a given dose of RA. At the dose of 150 $\mu$ g/g body wt., MLP's in either amputation level reached close to a peak value, and an increasing number of inhibition of regeneration or duplication in the transverse plane occurred at the dose of 200 $\mu$ g/ g body wt. and above. The changes induced by RA treatment suggest that positional values in the cells of the regenerating limbs have been modified in the three cardinal axes including PD and transverse axes in a graded mode. Furthermore, from the comparison of data in two different amputation levels, it can be speculated that the sensitivity of cells to RA effect along the PD axis might not be linear.

  • he paper introduces evolutionary computing to Fractal Image Compression(FIC). In Fractal Image Compression(FIC) a partitioning of the image into ranges is required. As a solution to this problem there is a propose that evolution computation should be applied in image partitionings. Here ranges are connected sets of small square image blocks. Populations consist of $N_p$ configurations, each of which is a partitioning with a fractal code. In the evolution each configuration produces $\sigma$ children who inherit their parent partitionings except for two random neighboring ranges which are merged. From the offspring the best ones are selected for the next generation population based on a fitness criterion Collage Theorem. As the optimum image includes duplication in image data, it gets smaller in saving space more efficient in speed and more capable in image quality than any other technique in which other coding is used. Fractal Image Compression(FIC) using evolution computation in multimedia image processing applies to such fields as recovery of image and animation which needs a high-quality image and a high image-compression ratio.

  • When the record management faces to the information environment, the practices based on self-judgment needs more open and considerate policies. New viewpoint that treat records as information and treat information as records will produce new mutual-conscious behavior that create records based on the value of information usage and maintain information data based on the reliability as an record. As the internal aspect how to create records well, how to transfer them well, and how to archives them well used to be the focus of record management, existing legislation, guidelines, and training seem to be mainly related to this front steps. We should also address issues according to the succeeding information services, including opening to the relevant, sharing, duplicating, information security, privacy protection, and constructing collections with continual supplement. This paper observe the confusion of the viewpoints in the recent reports, explain the need of fusion viewpoint, and suggest interconnecting feedback cycle between record management system and general information system.

  • There has been significant research in security technology such as e-passport standards, as e-passports have been introduced internationally. E-passports combine the latest security technologies such as smart card, public key infrastructure, and biometric recognition, so that these technologies can prevent unauthorized copies and counterfeits. Biometric information stored in e-passports is the most sensitive personal information, and it is expected to bring the highest risk of damages in case of its forgery or duplication. The present e-passport standards cannot handle security features that verify whether its biometric information is copied or not. In this paper, we propose an e-passport security technology in which biometric watermarking is used to prevent the copy of biometric information in the e-passport. The proposed method, biometric watermarking, embeds the invisible date of acquisition into the original data during the e-passport issuing process so that the human visual system cannot perceive its invisibly watermarked information. Then the biometric sample, having its unauthorized copy, is retrieved at the moment of reading the e-passport from the issuing database. The previous e-passport security technology placed an emphasis on both access control readers and anti-cloning chip features, and it is expected that the proposed feature, copy protection of biometric information, will be demanded as the cases of biometric recognition to verify personal identity information has increased.
