The Antecedents of the Trust and Customer response for Healthcare Service (의료서비스 신뢰의 선행요인과 신뢰가 고객반응에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to examine the antecedents of antecedents of trust and customer response at the healthcare service. A total of 230 patient' data were used with a structural equation analysis. They were verified by covariance modeling, using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 5.0program. Trust is significantly affected by the three factors. Doctors' professionalism and effort of relationship continuity have a positive impact on trust simultaneously. Also, brand reputation have a positive impact on trust simultaneously. But, Trust is not significantly affected by tangibles. And, Trust has a not positive impact on the word of mouth(WOM). Satisfaction has a positive impact on the repurchase and WOM. Repurchase has a positive impact on the WOM.

The Impact of Patent Infringement Litigation on Customer-Based Brand Equity

  • With continuous news headlines related to patents in the public media, awareness of patents' value is spreading, and patents are valuable not only to a firm but also to consumers. Therefore, this study makes an effort to explore the theoretical mechanism of the effects of patent infringement litigation (PIL) on customers. More specifically, this study examines the influence of PIL on customer-based brand equity (CBBE) and brand innovation image (BII). Based on this study's findings, PIL's outcomes directly affect BII, which in turn indirectly affects CBBE. That is, people will evaluate a winning brand as a highly innovative brand, which contributes to higher brand equity. However, in regards to PIL's direct effect on CBBE, there are some differences between Apple and Samsung. In the case of Apple, the winner image positively affects only one dimension of CBBE, brand loyalty, while for Samsung, the plaintiff's image negatively affects brand loyalty.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the antecedent variables of customer citizenship behavior selected by a social exchange point of view on the Boryeong Mud Festival. Of all the questionnaires collected, 239 were included in the analysis which was performed using SPSS. Date analysis method used to frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and canonical correlation analysis. As the results of the canonical correlation analysis between the customer citizenship behavior and the social exchange point of view, there was a significant relationship between the attributes of customer citizenship behavior - loyalty, cooperation, Participation and social exchange point of view - customer satisfaction, customer confidence, perceived support of customers, justice perception. Therefore, marketing practitioner should recognize the importance of customer's perception in the service circumstance and make a managerial effort to offer the best service to customer. The result of this paper may help local festival planner and marketers for festival marketing strategy.

  • The current paper aims to analyze the influence of users' self evaluation of e-service quality and others' word-of-mouth(WOM) on customer satisfaction and revisit intention in a family restaurant web site. The research model includes the constructs of service quality, WOM, customer satisfaction, and revisit intention. This study examines the hypothesized model using data from 175 college students around the Seoul metropolitan area who have visited a family restaurant as well as used its web site during the last three months. The findings show that service quality has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and a full-mediation effect between WOM and customer satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction has a significant influence on revisit intention. Family restaurants need to have an effort to manage service quality factors and social influences such as online WOM in order to use a web site as a tool of customer relationship management.

  • Global courier companies have been devoting to get more customers and profits with different service because of the worse profits from price competition. So, the effort of improving satisfaction of customers through improving courier service qualities is more important than any other time. However, the previous way to measure courier service has limitation that costs lots of time and money from off-line survey. This limitation could be overcome with less effort and costs if utilizing on-line social big data analysis and it is so helpful to improve competitiveness of courier companies. Therefore, I have collected comments from domestic and international courier companies from big data on social network service, analyzed the satisfaction of customers by R and verified the result by comparing with American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) and Korea National Customer Index (NCSI) in this research. I found out the result depicts clear correlation between SNS analysis and customer satisfaction. This study can be the foundation to predict customer satisfaction easily by utilizing real time SNS information.

A Study on Customer Attitude and Effort towards Reducing Food Waste When Dining Out (소비자의 외식관련 음식물 쓰레기에 대한 태도 및 감소 노력에 관한 연구)

  • As food waste problems become more severe, the need for reduction plans is increasing. Thus, this study aimed to discover the attitudes towards and the intentions to reduce restaurant food waste as well as the importance of and intentions to participate in reduction plans among adults customers A self-administrated questionnaire was given to 361 adults (216 men and 145 women) over 20 years old residing in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. According to the results, the respondents regarded restaurant food waste problems as serious (4.01). The biggest reason for leaving food was concern about hygiene (3.57), followed by tasting food (3.34) and portions that were too large (3.10). 57.6% responded that they try to reduce food waste when dining out. Women over 30 admitted to leaving food when dining out if the food did not taste as expected, if they had health concerns about additives such as condiments, and for body weight management. The overall average degree of awareness on the gravity of restaurant food waste problems was 4.06, indicating that respondents deeply empathized with the matter. Women showed higher alertness compared to men, and respondents in their 30s or over did more than those in their 20s. Also, respondents who try to reduce food waste when dining out had higher levels of concern than those who did not. According to the results from measuring the importance of and intention to participate in restaurant food waste reduction plans, taking away left-over food was the best option. In short, citizenship improvement campaigns should be designed for restaurants and related organizations in order to stimulate the need and effects of efforts to reduce dine-out food waste and induce aggressive participation by consumers. Diverse methods to increase actual consumer participation in food waste reduction plans that show high consumer participation intentions also needs to be developed.

  • Objectives : This research analyzed the general characteristics of care workers and verified the correlation among self-perceived health, job stress and customer orientation. Methods : We conducted a survey from May 1st, to May 31st, 2015 of 260 care workers who are affiliated with elderly care facilities or home care facilities in Busan, Korea. Results : The more the workers were stressed about their organizational culture, the more they recognized psychological difficulties. However, there was no correlation between organizational culture and their tendency to be oriented toward customers. It was verified that the recognized psychological health has a positive regulation effect between customer orientation and job stress such as job skill requirement(p<0.01), job autonomy(p<0.01), and organizational culture(p<0.01). Conclusions : Because both suppliers and recipients of care services are aging, it is necessary for elderly care facilities to make a greater effort to minimize the physical and psychological losses of recipients.

  • Customer relationship management is getting more and more important due to the recent development in Internet. Internet allows businesses to collect customers' information, to contact on individual base, and to communicate bilaterally. Much increased interest has many researchers make effort to verify effectiveness and efficiency of relationship marketing. Despite the importance of characteristics of relationship, there has been no systematic study of the uncoupling of internet shopping mall-customer. The purpose of this study is to develop a model that depicts the key variables of relationship in shopping mall-customer situation. The findings of Qualitative research indicate that on-line shopping mall customers do form a long-term orientation toward shopping malls as they do in off-line.

  • In the past, Manufacturers used to determine the quality of products, but the trend of today's market becomesmore into customer-driven. As a result, demands from customers are becoming more diverse and complicated,and most companies are obligated to meet their needs. As one of the effort to achieve their satisfaction,companies are now emphasizing activities to find out what customers specifically want and extract voice ofcustomer(VOC). This study attempts to develop an ergonomic product development process as a method tomaximally reflect the VOC. In order to meet this goal, ergonomic design guidelines, which are possible to beclassified according that user's human characteristics, will be recommended. Even now, there are numerousdesign guidelines already existing in the ergonomics literature. However, it is not realistically feasible to reviewall of those guidelines, and some of them are even conflicting with each other. Therefore, in this paper, theproduct development process, which prioritizes the human characteristics that reflect customer needs and appliesthe design guidelines that meet the most important ones, will be suggested. Finally, the research was described toshow the validity of the product development process through an example of a mobile phone development case.

  • Purchasing should be considered as an exciting entertainment by itself in these days. Customers can be satisfied with making their own choices and dreaming of their better lives through the action of buying,. However the customers are not rushing into stores without any special reason except when the store has something attracts them. Generally speaking the customers will willingly spend their time and effort in shopping only when they are attracted by well-displyed goods and reasonably planned layout. Based upon these concepts interior design as a creative marketing tool plays a great role in enhancing customer's circulation and the productivity of a store. This study is to propose the layouts which are increasing the customer's circulation by contacting the customers with commodities as many as possible. This study is primarily revolved around the parts affecting customer's circulation among the factors of store's layouts. This study was consist of theoretical consideration about the store's layouts on the foundation of conference and existing works and several proposals. The results of this research are as below: 1) The entrance and exit of a retail store should be apart from each other to increase customers' circulation. It is regarded as ideal to locate the entrance on the right side of front to control moving line of customers. 2) A shop should be surrounded with the main aisles which is straightened inward from the main entrance. 3) Placing magnets which can be anything that attracts customers' attention at the corner of store can lead customers inward and increase customers' circulation.
