The present study was to develop a dry PFB method similar to the existing gypsum board construction method in order to apply the existing wet PFB method that uses fire.resistant adhesive. It was found that the existing wet method can produce concrete compressive strength of 80MPa and fire resistance of 3 hours with 30mm PF boards. The goal of development in this study was fire resistance of 3 hours through dry construction of 15mm fire resistant boards. The results of fire resistance test showed an increase in thermal durability and thermal strain. It is believed that inorganic fiber reduces thermal strain, and lowers heat insulation performance by 15% or less. This suggests that heat insulation performance was improved by the change in the inner composition of PF board resulting from the adjustment of Al:Si mol ratio, high temperature molding, and dry curing. According to the results of fire resistance test, when the dry PF method was applied, the temperature of the main reinforcing bar was 116$^\circ$C in 15mm, 103.8$^\circ$C in 20mm, and 94$^\circ$C in 25mm, and these results satisfied the current standards for fire resistance control presented by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. When a 3 hour fire resistance test was performed and the external properties of the specimen were examined, the outermost gypsum board hardly remained and internal PF board maintained its form without thermal strain.
The use of Polymer Concrete (PC) is growing very rapidly in many structural and construction applications such as box culverts, hazardous waste containers, trench lines, floor drains and the repair and overlay of damaged cement concrete surfaces in pavements, bridges, etc. However, PC has a defect economically because resin which be used for binder is expensive. Therefore the latest research is being progressed to replace existing resin with new resin which can reduce the high cost. Here, Polymer concrete using the recycled PET(polyethylene terephthalate) has some merits such as decrease of environmental destruction, decrease of environmental pollution and development of new construction materials. The variables of this study are amount of resin, curing condition and maximum size of coarse aggregate to find out mechanic properties of this. Stress-strain curve was obtained using MTS equipment by strain control. The results indicated that modulus of elasticity was increased gradually in an ascending branch of curve, as an increase of resin content. Compressive strength was the highest for resin content of $13\%$. And Compressive strength was increased as maximum size of coarse aggregate increases. The strain at maximum stress increases with an increase of resin content and size of coarse aggregate. For the descending branch of stress-strain curve the brittle fracture was decreased when it was cured at the room temperature compared to high temperature.
Twenty pork loins were processed for manufacturing raw hams according to a short-ripening procedure including dry-and wet-curing for 1 week each, followed by ripening for 2 weeks. Raw ham cuts were vacuum-packaged and stored in darkness at 10 and $25^{\circ}C$ for 90 days, and their physicochemical and sensory quality characteristics were investigated. The sodium chloride content of raw hams stored at 10 and $25^{\circ}C$ was maintained at approximately 5.1% throughout storage at either temperature. No significant changes in water, crude protein, crude fat and ash contents were observed in all samples regardless of storage temperature and storage length. Thiobarbituric acid and volatile basic nitrogen values increased continuously during the storage period. The changes in physicochemical characteristics including pH, water activity texture lipid oxidation and protein degradation, and sensory attributes appeared to be more pronounced at $25^{\circ}C$ than at $10^{\circ}C$ over the storage period. At prolonged storage periods, a significant quality loss in the aspect of texture changes including hardness, brittleness, elasticity, cohesiveness, gumminess, and adhesiveness was observed (p<0.05). Based on sensory evaluation scores, It appeared that vacuum-packaged raw ham cuts stored at 10 and $25^{\circ}C$ were not acceptable after 75 and 45 days, respectively.

The phenomena that we experience in everyday life such as snow, rain, wind, and temperature are referred to as weather, and the average state of atmospheric phenomena that occur over a long period of time in a specific region is referred to as climate. In addition, significant variation of climate compared to the average state is referred to as climate change. Concrete structures can have various problems when exposed to elements. Among the problems, the freeze-thaw problem due to extreme climatic factors such as heavy rain and snowfall has become a particularly significant issue recently. The concrete that has been subjected to repeated freeze-thaw rather than too high or low temperature shows serious degradation of durability, and the performance of structures with degraded performance is difficult to recover. Therefore, in this study, concrete durability performance with respect to freeze-thaw from curing conditions change due to wind speed and sunshine exposure time. Concrete freeze-thaw experiment are performed. using wind speed and sunlight exposure time. Also, performance based evaluation through the satisfaction curve based on the freeze-thaw test results are performed.

In this work, the cure behaviors of the DGEBA/PMR-15 blends initiated by N-benzylpyrazinium hexafluoroantimonate (BPH) as a cationic latent catalyst were performed in DSC and DMA analyses. And, the thermal stabilities were carried out by TGA analysis and their mechanical interfacial properties of blends were measured in the context of critical stress intensity factor ($K_{IC}$). As a result, the curing activation energy ($E_a$) determined from Ozawa's equation in DSC and the relaxation activation energy ($E_r$) from DMA were increased with increasing PMA-15 content. Also, the thermal stabilities obtained from the integral procedural decomposition temperature (IPDT) and the glass transition temperature ($T_g$) were highly improved with increasing the PMR-15 content, which were probably due to the high heat resistance. And, the $K_{IC}$ showed a similar behavior with $E_a$, which was attributed to the improving of the interfacial adhesion or hydrogen bondings between intermolecular chains.

The cure and rheological behavior of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F/nadic methyl anhydride resin system with the kinds of imidazole were studied using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and a rotational rheometer. The isothermal traces were employed to analyze cure reaction. The DGEBF/ anhydride conversion profiles showed autocatalyzed reaction characterized by maximum conversion rate at $20{\sim}40 %$ of the reaction. The rate constants ($k_1,\;k_2$) showed temperature dependance, but reaction order did not. The reaction order (m+n) was calculated to be close to 3. There are two reaction mechanisms with the kinds oi catalyst. The gel time was determined by using G'-G" crossover method, and the activation energy was obtained from this results. From measurement of rheological properties it was found that the logarithmic 1:elation time of fused silica filled DBEBF epoxy compounds linearly increased with the content of filler and decreased with temperature. The highly filled epoxy compounds showed typical pseudoplastic behavior, and the viscosity of those decreased with increasing maximum packing ratio.

To prepare acrylic resin coatings containing 70% of solids, we used n-butyl methacrylate(BMA), methyl methacrylate(MMA), 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(2-HEMA), and acetoacetoxyethyl acrylate(AAEA), caprolactone acrylate(CLA) as raw materials, the glass transition temperature(Tg) of acrylic copolymer was adjusted around 50 ℃. The viscosity and molecular weight of the acrylic resins was increased with increasing OH values. Di-tert-amyl peroxide was found to be the suitable initiator to get high-solids acrylic resins. The optimum reaction conditions found in the study are 5 wt% of initiator, 4 wt% of chain transfer agent, 4 hrs of dropping time, and 140 ℃ of reaction temperature. The structure of the synthesized resins were characterized by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Number average molecular weight of 1900~2600 and molecular wight distribution of 1.4~2.1 were obtained. Crosslinked acrylic urethane clear coatings were obtained by curing reaction between the synthesized acrylic resins and hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer(Desmodur N-3300), the equivalent ratio of NCO/OH was 1.2/1.0. The physical properties from the following studies were carried out: viscosity(Zahn cup #2), adhesion, drying time, pot-life, pensil hardness, and 60° specular gloss. Various properties of the acrylic urethane clear coatings were also evaluated on the coating specimens. Adhesion property to a substrate, drying time, pot-life, pencil hardness, and 60° specular gloss of prepared paint showed quite good properties. Futhermore, prepared paint containing 10% of CLA showed quite good properties for adhesion, low viscosity and high hardness.

Recently, there are many structures exposed to severe outdoor environments, which results in rapid degradation of durability of the concrete structures. there can be rapid deterioration of the concrete structures from early frost damage due to the insufficient curing in low outdoor temperature condition. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of thickness change conditions and binding material on early frost damage depth of the concrete exposed to cold weather in winter, and is to clearly assess damage depth of the concrete structure due to early frost damage. Specimens with 300x300x(150, 200, 250, 300mm) were prepared. OPC and OPC+FA+BS were adopted for binders. Test results indicate that the depth of the early frost damage was deeper with the decrease of thickness of members. The brightness of specimens were reduced when the member thickness was thinner. When determining the depth of early frost damage, it can be distinguished into dark color and relatively bright color when dried for approximately 30 minutes in the indoors of $20^{\circ}C$ in temperature and 60% in relative humidity after submerging in water for 24 hours. The dark colored part can be determined easily when measured with vernier calipers.

The cement is a typical CO2 emission industry. Manufacturing process improvements and increased use of alternative materials are needed to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This study confirmed the basic characteristics of cement hydration by sintering CAF at low temperature as a CO2 adsorbent material. For the hydration product of the synthetic CAF, crystal phase analysis, porosity, and structural images were confirmed, and the compressive strength was measured. The replacement rate of SCAF was 10, 20, and 100 %, and the compressive strength tended to decrease as the replacement rate increased. In addition, when the SCAF substitution rate is 100 %, the hydration products of the early age are calcium aluminum oxide hydrate (Ca3Al2O6 x H2O) and calcium iron hydroxide (Ca3Fe(OH)12), and at substitution rates of 10 and 20 %, CAF compounds other than general cement hydrates brownmillerite was observed. As for the porosity, the pore size increased and the porosity increased with the increase of the replacement ratio. As a result of this study, CAF manufactured by low-temperature sintering seems to be difficult to use alone and general curing for utilization as a CO2 adsorbing material.
Various injection materials, such as asphalt-based injection materials, urethane-based injection materials, cement- based injection materials, and acrylic-based injection materials, are used for the repair of aged conduits and underground structures with cracks. In this study, research was conducted on an environmentally friendly acrylic- based leak repair material that exhibits good curing properties even in humid conditions and stability in temperature fluctuations. To compare the performance of the improved acrylic leak repair material with the existing acrylate injection material, experiments were conducted using KS standard methods, including underwater length change rate tests, underwater leakage resistance tests, and chemical performance tests. The comparative experiments revealed that the improved acrylic leak repair material showed no changes in shrinkage due to humidity, temperature variations, or chemical reactions compared to the existing acrylate injection material. In the underwater resistance test, the improved acrylic leak repair material did not show any leakage. Additionally, to assess the environmental impact of the improved acrylic leak repair material, acute fish toxicity tests and acute oral toxicity tests were conducted, and the results showed no mortality and no specific concerns with the test specimens. The experimental results led to the conclusion that the improved acrylic leak repair material is considered to be superior in performance, environmentally safe, and harmless to the human body. Based on various experimental results, it is inferred that the improved acrylic leak repair material is suitable for use as a repair material for cracks in manholes and underground structures compared to the existing acrylate repair material. This study aims to propose valuable data for future technological development by evaluating the applicability of acrylic leak repair materials.
