Creep, drying shrinkage, modulus of elasiticity and Poisson's ratio of concrete are influenced by a number of factors such as mix type, member thickness, curing condition and loading cases. Particularly, creep and shrinkage in concrete have yet to be studied due to its complicated time-dependent properties. In this study, the concrete creep tests were carried out at varous ages of loading-7, 28, 90, 180 and 365 days in order to investigate and quantify its long-term properties. The test procedures and analysis of the test results were also described herein. The results of this study will enable A/E to calculate effective prestressing forces considering time-dependent prestressing loss and evaluate the structural integrity of the prestressing system using the representative values derived from this property test.

The spherical bead manufactured by rapidly cooling process shows high density of 3.64g/㎤, high unit volume weight of 2.6kg/l, and high solid volume of 71%. When it applies to the grouter, it is possible to obtain even high fluidity with only a small amount. This study, focusing the grouter using a rapidly-cooled electric arc furnace oxidizing slag(RC-EAFS), deals with the properties of flow and setting time in fresh state, compressive strength and length variation at 1, 3, 7 and 28 curing day in hardened state. As the results, even though the grouter with RC-EAFS shows comparative low strength, it will be possible to development the competitive product due to the properties of increasing flow and low cost.
I. Objectives Newly-designed method was evaluated to measure the linear polymerization shrinkage of light-cured resin composites. II. Materials and Methods A resin composite(Clearfil AP-X, Kuraray, Japan) was filled into a vinyl-polysiloxan mold(1 to 8mm-depth, and 7mm-diameter). As indicators, 4 beads(Retention Beads 2 SS, GC, Japan;particle size $200{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$) were placed diagonally on the resin surface of a mold. The coordinates (x, y, z, pasition) of each indicator were measrued by a measuring-microscope after which the resin surface was irradiated by a curing-light source(Optilux 500, Demetron/Kerr, USA) for 40 sec. After 20 sec the coordinates were again measured.(omitted)
This paper deals with hydration properties of the OPC with CSA-system expansive materials. In OPC using CSA, that was formed monosulfate for the main part. but In OPCs using CSA and gypsum, using CSA and gypsum and lime, that were formed ettringite for the main part. On the shrinkage ratio, the former is larger than the latter And CSA-system with gypsum and lime is smallest of all systems. According to dimension of shrinkage ratios are as follows; OPC using CSA only> OPC only> OPC using CSA and gypsum> OPC using CSA, gypsum and lime. And "R"s are 0.32, 0.37, 0.8, 0.8, 0.8 each others. In OPC with CSA-system expansive materials, we know that expansive properties were depend upon the value of "R". "R" means supplying quantities about demanding quantities for ettringite. In the case of expansive materials with CSA-system and lime, it is to be rich Ca(OH)$_2$ in the solution. so, it is formed small ettringite as the needle shapes. they are contribute to expansive.
Purpose: To perform a comparative study on curing shrinkage according to the thickness of photopolymerization resin. Methods: Stainless steel molds of 2, 4, and 6 mm heights were prepared. The 2, 4, and 6 mm-height molds were classified as the 2H, 4H, and 6H groups, respectively. A photopolymerization resin was injected into the stainless steel mold. Photopolymerization was carried out using a photopolymer machine. During photopolymerization, the wavelength and intensity of 400~405 nm were set to 10, the highest intensity among 1~10. Photopolymerization was performed for 30 min per specimen (each group=10). The inner and outer areas of the specimen were measured. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis H test (α=0.05). Results: In terms of the inner and outer diameters of the photopolymerization resin specimen, the 2H group contracted the most, whereas the 6H group contracted the least. A statistically significant difference was found between the groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The amount of light irradiation of the photopolymerization resin must be adjusted according to the thickness.
To determine the effect of chemical structure of linear amine curing agents on thermal and mechanical properties, standard epoxy resin DGEBA was cured with ethylene diamine(EDA) and hexamethylene diamine(HMDA) in a stoichiometrically equivalent ratio. From this work, the effect of linear amine curing agents on the thermal and mechanical properties is significantly influenced by the chemical structure or chain length of curing agents. In contrast, the results show that the DGEBA/EDA system having the two carbons had higher values in the thermal stability, maximum conversion of epoxide, density, glass transition temperature, tensile modulus, flexural strength, and flexural modulus than the DGEBA/HMDA system having the six carbons, whereas the DGEBA/EDA cure system had relatively low values in the shrinkage(%), thermal expansion coefficient, tensile strength, and had similar values in the maximum exothermic temperature, and conversion of epoxide compared to the DGEBA/HMDA cure system. This findings indicate that packing ability in the HMDA structure affects the thermal and mechanical properties.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the polymerization contraction of composite resin(Tetric $ceram^{(R)}$, Ivoclar Vivadent Liechtenstein) according to various liners(Tetric $flow^{(R)}$, Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein/$Ionosit^{(R)}$, DMG, German/ $Vitrebond,^{TM}$ 3M-ESPE, USA). The strain gauge method was used for measurement of polymerization shrinkage strain. Specimens were divided by 8 groups according to curing units and liners. Group A, E: Tetric $ceram^{(R)}$ bulk filing, Group B, F: Tetric $flow^{(R)}$ lining, Tetric $ceram^{(R)}$ filling, Group C, G: $Ionosit^{(R)}$ lining, Tetric $ceram^{(R)}$ filling, Group D, H: $Vitrebond^{TM}$ lining, Tetric $ceram^{(R)}$ filling. Group A, B, C and D were cured using the conventional halogen light($XL3000^{TM}$ 3M ESPE, USA) for 40 seconds at $400mW/cm^2$. Group E, F G and H were cured using light emitted diode(LED) light(Elipar Freelight $2^{TM}$, 3M-ESPE, USA) for 15 seconds at 800 $mW/cm^2$. Strain gauge attached to each sample was connected to a strainmeter. Measurements were recorded at each second for the total of 750 seconds including the periods of light application. Obtained data were analyzed statistically using Repeated measures ANOVA and Tukey test. The results of this were as follows : 1. Contraction stresses in flowable resin and glass ionomer lining group were lower than that in compomer lining group(p<0.05). 2, Contraction stresses in LED curing light groups were higher than that in halogen curing light groups, but there was no significant difference (p>0.05).

In this study, the replacement effects of cementitious materials (fly ash, blast furnace slag, and blended mixtures) were assessed for normal strength concrete with very low shrinkage properties under $350{\mu}{\varepsilon}$ strain using a powder type shrinkage reducing agent. In addition, through mock-up tests of actual size walls restrained with four sides, the shrinkage characteristics using the power type shrinkage reducing agent were measured and the crack reducing ability was assessed. The slump and air contents were measured as the properties of fresh concrete, and the length changes of the prismatic specimens, $100{\times}100{\times}400mm$ in size, were measured for the shrinkage characteristics. To reduce the shrinkage of concrete, the maximum replacing ratio of the fly ash is effective to 20 percent; however, the use of blast furnace slag and ternary mixtures did not reduce the shrinkage.

Cementitious matrix based composites are vulnerable to the drying shrinkage crack during the curing process. In this study, the drying shrinkage induced fracture behavior of the fiber reinforced concrete is simulated and the effects of the fiber reinforcement conditions on the fracture characteristics are analysed. The numerical model is composed of conduit elements and rigid-body-spring elements on the identical irregular lattice topology, where the drying shrinkage is presented by the coupling of nonmechanical-mechanical behaviors handled by those respective element types. Semi-discrete fiber elements are applied within the rigid-body-spring network to model the fiber reinforcement. The shrinkage parameters are calibrated through the KS F 2424 free drying shrinkage test simulation and comparison of the time-shrinkage strain curves. Next, the KS F 2595 restrained drying shrinkage test is simulated for various fiber volume fractions and the numerical model is verified by comparison of the crack initiating time with the previous experimental results. In addition, the drying shrinkage cracking phenomenon is analysed with change in the length and the surface shape of the fibers, the measurement of the maximum crack width in the numerical experiment indicates the judgement of the crack controlling effect.
