Based on various employment and technology data in the cultural sector from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s in Seoul, Korea, this research examines whether technology- and human resource-oriented programs exert significant impact on creative manpower, R&D technology level and tolerance. After briefly introducing Seoul's trends in the culture industry, it tries to explain major reinforcing and balancing loops. The stock-flow diagram of the culture industry in Seoul is applied to estimate relative effectiveness of technology- and human resource-oriented cultural programs cultural programs. Judging from a series of simulated experiments, technology-oriented cultural programs are essential to increase creative manpower and R&D technology level in the short term. For the first half of research period, this research finds that human resource-oriented cultural programs put forth minimal impact, if they even exist at all. The trends, however, are reversed in the long term: Both size of creative manpower and R&D technology level absolutely depend on human resource-oriented cultural programs in the second half.

Hypertext is a web form consisted of HTML(hypertext markup language) which is used in Internet. Hypertext in costume is the product of modem industrial society. Hypertext is not a mechanical technique that enlarges external capacity of human beings. It is rather a motif that extends the internal ability of human beings. It brings about the social innovation by extending the expression realm of costume and providing the various views of recognition. This study regards costume not as an artistic work but as a text which interacts in the open relationship of human body, society and culture and causes dynamic generation of meaning. This study distinguishes Plasticitic Characteristics of Hypertext in Costume with intertextuality, rhizome, interactivity in the structural characteristics of hypertext which is a typical trait of digital culture of openness and variousness. In conclusion, this study clarified plasticitic value of modem costume, which expresses vague isms and the pargidm of multi-typed culture most sensitively and condretley, and expressional forms in relation with the structural characteristics of hypertext.

It is reported that mechanical stimulation takes a role in improving cell growth in skeletal system. And various research groups have showed that developed bioreactor to stimulate cell-seeded and threedimensional scaffold. In this study, we designed a custom-made bioreactor capable of applying controlled compression to cell-seeded agarose gel. This device consisted of a circulation system and compression system. In circular system, culture chamber was sealed for prohibiting contamination and media solution was circulated by pump. In compression system, mechanical stimuli were controlled by LabVIEW software and mechanical transfer system. Cell-encapsulated agarose gels were cultured for up to 7 days. There were significant differences between the number of cells grown in dynamic cell culture and in static cell culture from 3 days to 7 days.

Chinese Opera-themed woodcut New Year pictures in Yangjiabu are representative of Chinese New Year pictures. This research takes cultural research as a breakthrough point, analyzes and combs its Context, Representation, Coding & Decoding, and finds that: After the imitation and restatement of traditional Chinese opera, the opera-themed woodcut New Year pictures have formed a dynamic intertextual relationship with Chinese culture and traditional Chinese opera. The understanding of this intertextual relationship is not only an important way to study Chinese folk art but also one of the ideas to show the aesthetic spirit of it.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the jeans advertising campaigns of the 1990's in South Korean magazine advertisements and their relation to the beauty trends of the 1990's in South Korea. There are three significant and varying periods in the 1990's. Each period will be dissected into four categories. The four categories are 1. Catchphrases 2. Pose selection of the models 3. Selection of models 4. Overall images and themes of the ads. The results are as follows : 1. 1990∼1993 ; Youth & Freedom From 1990 to 1993, jean ads emphasized the catchphrsase and the dynamic pose more and used the Korean model. The ads displayed youthful energy and the freedom of the younger generation. 2. 1994∼1997 ; Sex Appeal From 1994 to 1997, the second transition in jeans advertisements focus shifted from the youthful images of the early 90's to more sexually oriented ads. In terms of model selections and pose, Caucasian models instead of Korean models, and static pose were used more. The ads emphasized the image more than the catchphrase. 3. 1998∼1999 ; Diversity of Individuality & Naturalism During 1998 to the present day, the jeans ads no longer focused on groups but the diversity of individuality. The other focus of ads was the naturalism and the harmony with the nature. Both the static and dynamic pose, Korean model, and the image ads were used.

It has been reported that mechanical stimulation takes a role in improving eel/ growth in skeletal system. In this study, we hypothesized that the various conditions of mechanical stimulation would affect cell growth and proliferation. To prove our hypothesis, we designed a custom-made bioreactor capable of applying controlled compression to cell-encapsulated scaffolds. This device consisted of a circulation system and a compression system. Each parts of the bioreactor was fabricated using the rapid prototyping technology By using the rapid prototyping technology, we can modify and improve the bioreactor very rapidly For dynamic cell-culture, cell-encapsulated agarose gel was fabricated in 2% concentration. We performed dynamic cell-culture using this agarose gel and developed bioreactor in 3 days.

The purpose of this study : 1. The total 56 range measurements of active dynamic motion of 40 subjects (20's and 30's) were measured using 3-D dynamic motion analysis system. 2. Various comparisons were performed for the right and left side, male, age groups (20's, 30's, and 40's ∼ 60's) using previous studies. The results were compared with the other studies in the aspects of age. In this study, the 3-D motion analysis system based on photogrammetry was established and used to analyze the human's motion and posture. The system consists of VICON 140, data acquisition system, and data analysis program (KRISSMAS). The result of this study were as follows : 1. Comparing 20's with 30's the result shows that 30's have larger ROM at some joints, which is inconsistent with the previous result. The reason is that female subjects in 20's were improperly sampled according to the representatives of anthropometry characteristics. 2. There are significant differences in some joints related with age. 20's male subjects have more flexible joints in the neck while 30's male subjects have more flexibility in their shoulder joint and elbow joint. But most of the significances were not high (p〈0.05). The prediction that the right side of Korean bodies would be more flexible was not a good hypothesis. And the joints flexibilities are not correlated with Rohrer's Index.

The purpose of this study was to draw application elements of housing interior design according to user-oriented sensibility types. The sensibility evaluation experiments were conducted to target the general user 118 people using the sensibility evaluation tool for housing interior space. The results of the analysis were as: To produce the 'cozy' space, the colors and materials giving soft and natural feeling should be used. For the 'practical' space, type of ceiling and window that give the visually open feeling, the user-oriented furniture arrangement that allows using the space efficiently. For the 'cheerful' space, the simple and natural effects should be produced by using closed space that stable. For the 'traditional' space, the natural fishing material having rough texture should be used. For the 'unique' space, the space contained the dynamic feeling by the diagonal or vertical line and the graphic expression in the wall. For the 'congenial' emotional space, basic is the symmetric, stable and simple space. On the other hand, for the material, small size, natural texture or typical and soft materials should be used. For the 'sensuous' space, the dynamic and vertical sense of space should be expressed by the type of ceiling. The most important elements for the space of 'gorgeous' sensibility, is the color.

Haute couture denotes a luxurious made-to-order dressmaker's shop. In principle, it refers to a place that is registered with the Paris Apparel Association and has met the size and criteria specified by the association. The features of modern fashion expressed in haute couture have been contemplated by categorizing them into mixed impression appearing in haute couture work pieces. turning the collection event into a spectacle and commercialization for the succession of haute couture. Mixed impression manifested in the haute couture has engendered (1) the creative and dynamic feature (2) eclecticism with popular culture (3) mixed impression of reactionism (4) ethnic characteristics. From the above considerations, one could say that the factors drive the very existence of haute couture and comprise three elements of impeccable backgrounds, They are (1) organizing ability and protective policies of the French fashion industry, (2) relentless experimental spirit of the haute couture designers and (3) Paris that supports creativity and fashion fabrication, have coincided with rising up of the value of persistence on originality of work pieces in accordance with diversifying cultural transformations. consumer-oriented patterns by way of capital symbolized by consumers and restructuring of company operation by each shop. This report describes comprehensive understanding of haute couture, creativity and dynamic power of the haute couture work pieces. Akin to the efforts to maintain the existence of high-grade cultures throughout the overall cultures themselves, haute couture, on the basis of these factors, should also become the motive power through which luxurious culture in fashion is created in the days ahead.

Recently, it has been reported that mechanical stimulation takes a role in improving cell growth. Also, became generally known that skeletal system as bone or cartilage tissues take influence of compression loading. In this study, we fabricated a custom-made bioreactor and analyzed that conditions of compressive loading would influence cell growth. To compare the effect of intermittent compressive loading on cell-encapsulated agarose scaffold, we cultured preosteoblast cell (MC3T3-E1 cells) statically and dynamically. And dynamic culture conditions were produced by changing parameters such as the iteration time and interval delay time. Also, cellencapsulated agarose scaffold were subjected to 10 % dynamic compressive strain at 1㎐ frequency for 7 days. After cell culture, cell proliferation was assessed with PI stain assay for fluorescence images and flow cytometry (FACS).
