The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning and the value of the cultural collage expressed in men's fashion. As for the research methodology, literary research was under taken to study psychoanalytical and socioeconomic contexts in which cultural collage has been formed. In addition, demonstrative studies in men's fashion were undertaken through the analysis of pictures. The cultural collage is defined as a phenomena of making creativity by combining cultures which have no relevance. In psychological and sociological aspects, the rise of the cultural collage is caused by multinational corporation, pluralization of identity, information society, consumer oriented production, consumer society and inundation of kitsch. On the basis of the characteristics and social backgrounds of cultural collage, the aesthetic values of men's fashion can be explained by pluralism de-generalization and relativity.

본 연구는 나이지리아 남서부에 위치한 일레이페($Il{\acute{e}}-If{\acute{e}}$, 혹은 이페$If{\acute{e}}$)를 중심으로 그 지역 고대 유물과 창조신화를 통해 현재 나이지리아 요루바족 예술문화 전통의 근원을 살펴보고, 문화의 상대성에 대해 상기해 보고자 하는 데 있다. 구전 전통에서 왕국 이제부, 오요, 베냉은 그 기원을 모두 일레이페지역에 두고 있고, 특히 오요와 이제부 왕국의 건립자는 일레이페의 통치자이며 요루바족의 신 오두두와(Oduduwa)의 아들들이라고 전해진다. 이처럼 당시 일레이페를 중심으로 세워진 왕국들은 같은 지역과 동일한 창조신이라는 공통분모를 통해 문화적, 종교적, 사회적으로 밀접하게 연결되어 있다. 요루바 문화를 이해하기 위해서 그들의 예술과 문화 전통의 근원인 일레이페에 대한 연구는 중요하다. 일레이페에 뿌리를 내린 요루바족은 자신들의 예술성을 태초부터 꾸준히 간직해 왔으며, 수세기 동안 그 형식과 형태를 그대로 유지시켜오면서 현재까지도 그들의 생활 속에서 활용하고 있기 때문이다. 그것의 증거들이 요루바족의 수많은 예술품들과 정신문화를 대표하는 문화유산인, 이파점술과 신화 등이다. 이파 점술은 요루바족의 신 '에슈'와 '이파'가 관련된 요루바족 풍습 가운데 하나로 지금까지 요루바족 사이에서 행해지고 있다. 만일 이러한 요루바족 전통 풍습을 비롯하여 아프리카의 문화와 문명이 비논리적이고 미신적이라고 여겨진다면, 그것은 태초의 것을 원형 그대로 유지시키고자 하는 그들의 노력을 다른 문화 차원의 기준에서 오도하는 것이다. 만일 그렇다면 타문화와 문명의 상대성과 그 문화와 문명을 판단하는 가치 기준의 다양성과 유연성의 필요를 재인식해야 할 것이다.

This paper reexamines ideas about linguistic relativity in the light of new interest in the theoretical climate. The original idea is based on the incommensurability of the semantic structures of different languages. On this view, language, thought, culture are deeply interconnected, so that each language might be associated with it a distinctive world view. Throughout this work I utilize the historico-epistemological standpoint to dissect the conceptual structure of this principle. In the introduction I will of for a justification of choice of the theme. Section 1 will address some essential definition of the linguistic principle and insist on the necessity to elaborate a typological spectrum of relativism and universalism. In the second section some important landmarks of linguistic relativity were marked from Plato to Humboldt via Condillac and Herder. 1 will subdivide the relativity hypothesis into 3 theses which are interlated. In the final section the epistemological structure of the linguistic principle will be analysed in some detail by providing my exposition of Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. By way of conclusion I will present the works of Wierzbicka who demonstrated the lexicons of different languages suggest different conceptual universes. By rejecting analytical tools derived from the English language she proposed instead a natural semantic metalanguage based on lexical universals, which is made up of universal semantic primitives. In this paper we attempted to construct a general problematics of linguistic relativity, focolizing on the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. We devided this very problematic question into its ontological and epistemological dimensions. In particular the ambivalance of Whorf's relativity is discussed in some detail. Also, an archeological survey of this subtle question on the relation between language, thinking and culture was provided. (from Aristotle to Humboldt, via Condillac and Nitzche). In conclusion this investigation underlines the necessity of preparing the cultural linguistics to enlarge the scope of contempory linguistics.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the possibility of application of some French and German movies to teaching of multi-culture in elementary, middle and high schools. Three different films are selected. (2005), a French animation film directed by B?n?dicte Galup and Michel Ocelot, is appropriate for the education of understanding cultural relativity and improving multi-cultural sensitivity in elementary school. is a French short film directed by Walter Salles and Daniela Thomaso and included in omnibus style film (2006). This short film relating a story of an immigrated woman who leaves her baby in a cr?che and travels through Paris to work for a bourgeois mother can be used for developing a bond of sympathy between natives and immigrants. It is recommended for the class of junior high school. Finally (2007), a German film directed by Fatih Akin, provide a learning model for the education of multi-culture in high school classrooms. The cinematographic aesthetic of this film is focused on a process of reconciliation with others over the cultural, racial, national and generational differences. Analyzing the structure of the film and being guided by teachers the students can understand better in improving abilities to understand others.

상대적 소속 함수(RMF)에 기반을 둔 새로운 유사성 측도를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 RMF는 퍼지 부분 집합간의 상대성을 쉽게 나타내기 위해 제시되었다. 이러한 RMF의 형태는 매개변수값들에 따라 결정되기 때문에 매개변수 값들만을 조정해 줌으로써 퍼지 부분 집합간의 상대성을 쉽게 나타낼 수 있다. 그러므로 퍼지 부분 집합을 이용해 주관성을 표현할 때 개인이나 문화차이간의 상대성을 쉽게 반영해 줄수 있다. 이 경우이들 매개변수들은 퍼비 부분 집합의 구조를 결정해 주는 특징점들이라고 할수 있다. 결과적으로 퍼지 부분 집합간의 유사성 정도가 RMF의 매개변수들을 이용해서 빠르게 계산될 수 있다. RMF에 의해 퍼지 부분 집합간의 유사성 정도를 계산하기 위해 유클리디안 거리를 사용한다. 한편, 제안된 유사성 측도의 응용 분야로 새로운 언어 근사 방법을 제시하고 수치적인 예를 보여준다.

This paper aims to show how Thomas Hardy overturns conventional ideas in opposition and eventually disrupts the hierarchical order of ideas in the Victorian society of Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Divided into four sections, such as feeling/reason, purity/impurity, femininity/masculinity, and death/life, it examines how these binaries are deconstructed in the heroine's tragic life journey. The heroine Tess of the book, who boldly crosses the boundaries marked by traditional society, turns her image as a fallen woman into that of divinity, erasing the boundary between evil and good. In doing so, Hardy leads the reader to question the system of established values and reveals the illegitimacy of absolute values, thence stressing what all one can grasp in this world is nothing else than an absence of a central value. The relativity of truth and the power of overturning established value systems advertised in the book have significant implications for today's readers as well as for the Victorians.

This study investigated the formation of communication education which is based on the contemporary language education. Concretely I watched chronologically the proportion of culture element and behavior element, its change, and the contents of writing education. To achieve this, I took the ancient Greek language education as the main materials. The sophists are right if we think only the empirical world, because of the changeability of external world and the relativity of sense. On the other hand, Platon emphasized the ability of abstract thought which is inherent in the human inside. But today's education only emphasizes the 'expression' which came from the Platonic thought. So students fills their devastated inside with arbitrary idea in this history-forgotten social circumstance. It is very beneficial to make subject have some cultural studies and to enhance the sensation on the world through the writing of representation because these can be good to the growth of subject. It is our-not as educator but as a predecessor of human being-duty to set the catalogue of cultural studies of this age and to make students feel the fundamental harmony and the beauty of the world.

Fashion is a field that responds sensitively to social and cultural atmospheres, brings about constant change due to consumer demand for new items in new fashion trends and in the latest design. The fashion industry tries to predict what kind of clothing the customers desires and produces fashion products according to trend information stated by fashion information services. This research analyses the relativity between the trends stated in the fashion information books and what consumer accept, and with this information find the application of trend information books in the planning of domestic woman's clothing. The used information books were based on Samsung Fashion Institute and Interfashion Planning, Inc. The 02/03 F/W season emphasized restoration-romantic, nostalgic mood themes. Fashion trend information and consumer acceptance condition tend to concentrate on trend themes given tv fashion information companies. In other words, $Sincere\;girl(39.04\%){\to}Frontier\;girl(34.92\%){\to}Dark\;lady(18.43\%){\to}Lady\;belle(7.59\%)$ in this order Also when looking into the consumer's wearing, no one theme appears by itself and the themes are mixed accordingly to one's lifestyle and sensibility. Accordingly fashion information organizations must provide precise fashion trends according to consumer sensibility & consumption and also compare trend information to consumer fashion trends each season. With this precise information the planned design plans will help the domestic fashion markets, which are gradually overrun by foreign brands, develop a unique and original fashion product that meets consumer sensitivity needs, and develop a new stepping stone for fashion companies and the relative fashion industry and furthermore contribute to the advancement of overseas markets.

19세기 중엽 이후 동아시아, 그 가운데 특히 한국은 대외적으로 일본을 비롯한 제국주의에 압박을 받았고, 대내적으로는 오랜 정치적 구태 현상, 예를 들어 세도정치와 같은 진부한 상황 때문에, 이른바 내우외환 상태에 있었다. 이 같은 상황을 목격하고 세계정세에 관하여, 거의 전 영역에 걸쳐 독서를 통해 학문적 역량을 쌓고 있었던 유가철학자 최한기는, 이 같은 막힘 현상에 대한 해결의 실마리를 철학화하였다. 최한기는 만물이나 만사를 운동변화 관점에서 바라보았다. 사람이나 사물에 내재한 운동, 변화의 에너지, 운화기가 있다고 믿었다. 사물에 내재하는 존재의 원리, 질서까지도 '기'의 관점에서 파악하여, 이전의 운동성이 결여된 존재론적 리(理)가 우주에 존재하는, 어떤 것보다 앞서 우월하게 존재하며 그것이 세상을 지배한다는 관점을 바꾸었다. 그로부터 만사만물을 지배하는 정체성으로서, 도 또한 하나가 아니라 다양함을 설파하였다. 이것은 일면 잠정적으로 사물의 상대성을 인정한 것이다. 그러면서 그 상대성을 넘어 만물이 긴밀히 연결되어 존재한다는, 만물일체, 그들이 하나로 어울려 존재한다는 '일치', '일통'을 우리에게 가르쳐 주었다. 최한기는 공간에서 뿐만 아니라 시간에 있어서도 사물은 유기적으로 서로 소통하면서 존재한다고 믿었던 것인데, 그것은 그의 운화철학에 두드러진다. 그리하여 존재물들은 자기 안에서 뿐만 아니라 대외적으로 원활한 관계성을 확보하면서 조화롭게 공존할 수 있는 '길'을 열어 놓았다.
