Contrary to the fact that the old films contain artistic and include contemporary literature, religion, and philosophy, latest films are produced with focusing on external interesting composition and sensational scene. A good movie emotionally express the directors' topic message exuding from an interesting story, and empathize with the social agenda which shows a sharp look of the directors' on contemporary social aspect. In the movies of the Coen brothers, it seems like an entertainment movie as typical black comedy genre through irony and happening, but in fact, it inserts a lot of social problems in the film to show that they cynically express their social agenda from a contemplative view. In their movie "The Big Lebowski (1998)", it seems like they are creating comical content through the main characters' unaffected attitude. However, it is director's excellent director of the sub-text that expresses American social issues such as Vietnam war, post-modernism and an obscurantist policy and au fond the comedy about the historical facts of mass production of social maladjustment into black comedy. We expect to contribute to make a step forward in the Korea film industry by analyzing such movies that has the cultural power of influence.

Balhae was an ancient Korean kingdom that existed almost 1,300 years ago. It was a dynamic time in the Korean history when the national strength was building up in terms of politics, economy and culture, thereby called as "Haedongseongguk, the powerhouse in the East". Balhae had dominated parts of Manchuria and the northern part of the Korean peninsula between the late 7th century and the 10th century, occupying the center stage of the northern Korean history. It serves as a window to the East Asia in the present as well as in the past. Yet, due to its geography spanning from the North Korea to Kilin Province of China to part of Heilongjiang Province and to the Littoral Province of Siberia, Balhae has been the center of historical disputes among neighboring countries that insist it is part of each of their own history. China argues that it was a prefecture of the Tang Dynasty, established by the Mohe, not a successor to Goguryeo, which is a China-oriented viewpoint of history. In addition, Russia recognizes Balhae as their first-ever medieval feudal state since the Littoral Province is now under their sovereignty. Therefore, the restoration of Balhae history is in line with the veritable establishment of the ancient Korean history. For this, it is necessary to embrace inter-disciplinary achievements and to continue efforts to adopt them rather than to blame the shortage of historical documents and the difficulty of the excavation of relics. If fashion is "a visual symbol" of our society, beauty culture serve as a mirror to reflect our civilization and culture directly or indirectly. Still, it is not easy to draw similarities by analyzing and comparing the attributes of various cultures and civilizations party because the essence of culture lies in diversity. Nevertheless, it is believed that cultural liaison as well as geographical liaison can be a medium to compensate for the limits of the foreign exchange history of Southeast Asia in proving the relationship between Goguryeo and Balhae, by examining and speculating beauty culture that reflect their period. It was confirmed by various documents regarding Goguryeo out of relics, historical sites and documents. Mural paintings showed how the people of Balhae wore and accessorized themselves. They also allowed us to speculate their way of living. As the contemporary historians can assert that Balhae is part of the Korean history thanks to the realism scholars in the late Joseon Dynasty, who rediscovered the Balhae history and conducted practical researches, it is expected that researchers who study beauty culture contribute to completing the restoration of the Balhae history by thoroughly examining our history, costume and beauty culture.
The pursuit of freedom by the individual--desire to be liberated from all forms of restrictions-- is one of the defining character-istic of the modern society. As costume is, in part, a product of the spirit of the times, it was only natural that this desire for freedom would find its expression in modern costume as well. Among various forms of restrictions, differentiaton by sex has placed one of the most significant binding influences on individual behavior. From early times, the dichotomous division by sex was incorporated into the disign of costume, and the traditional differestriction of costume by sex imposed a significant restriction on the background,“the modern androhynous look”was born as a by-product of the sexual liberation movement in the second half of the 20th century, based on the concept of the individual as a complete human being rather than as a member exclusively of either the male or the female sex. This paper seeks to examine the androgynous look within a coherent theoretical frame-work, and explore new design possibilities by analyzing and understanding the visual characteristics of the androgynous look. In addition, this paper seeks to define the functional aspects of the androgynous look based on the premise that costume is an embodiment of the spirit of the times. As for research methodology, both theoretical and historical methods are employed. Through a theoretical examination of historical documents, the meaning of the androgynous look is explored from various angles, and order to examine its place in modern fashion, an-drogynous styles are categorized and system atically analyzed. The main findings of the paper can be summarized as follows : 1. Androgyny is a compound word consisting of“andro-”(meaning man) and“gyn-”(meaning woman). In modern times, this word has been associated with the socio-cultural aspect of gender rather than the physical or physiological aspect with the pshchological characteristics of the male and female sexes. Androgynous styles also appear in fashion and general arts such as drama, film, dance, and music. In fashion, the androgynous look, represented by the visual superimposition of “masculine”and “faminine”elements, has emerged as a major element of the 20th-century costume, and has gained broad acceptance among those free spirits wishing to be liberated from the conventional conceptions of male clothing, and the unisex look. 3. The androgynous look in modern fashion reflects the spirit of the 20th century society and culture, and performs various functions as follows : expression of fun, change in gender roles, expression of the inner consciousness, and pursuit of the ideal human type.
In 1966, $Seokgatap$ pagoda in $Bulguksa$ temple was damaged by the tomb robbers and was dismantled to fix the damage. In the process, many offerings to Buddha and containers for Sarira(the cremated remains) were found in $Sarigong$(specially designated space for the Sarira casket) inside the second floor of the pagoda. Many fabrics like $Geum$, $Neung$(twill), $Rha$(complex gauze), silk tabby and linen were also excavated. In this study, $Geum$ fabric from the $Seokgatap$ was closely examined. $Geum$ of $seokgatap$ is weft-faced compound weave according to the analysis of its weaving pattern which was wrongly presumed as warp-faced compound weave for some time. Technical analysis of $Geum$: Main: silk, Binding: silk, Proportion: 1 main warp to 1 binding warp, Count: 15 main warps and 15 binding warps per centimeter, Weft: polychrome silk without apparent twist, Colors: yellow, mustard yellow, deep blue, green and purple, Weave: weft-faced compound twill, 1/2 S. $Geum$ of $Seokgatap$ was made in the $8^{th}$ century, since it was weaved in weft-faced compound weave twill which was popular in the $8-9^{th}$ century. And also, the arrangement of the colors was done in the same way of gradation $Geum$ silk which was popular in the $7-8^{th}$ C in China and Japan. Third, we restored the pattern of $Geum$ of the Unified Shilla Dynasty for the first time. It was very difficult to figure out the shape and the size of pattern since the fabric was partially lost and ruined. We tried to draw the diagram of structure with the cross point of the warp and the weft to restore the pattern. By doing so, we could identify two kinds of small flower pattern, palmette and the pattern of repeating vines. Fourth, we could infer that the $Geum$ of $Seokgatap$ was used for $geumdae$(a pouch made of $geum$) by analyzing all the documents and the characteristics of the fabric.

Positioning technique which has been widely used for making marketing strategy by analyzing customer's image also has been used for public and test-taker's image analysis about public facilities, entrepreneurs, universities. This study analyze image of library and Information science students who trying to find a job in library fields about diverse types of library and information centers by Positioning technique. As a result of Similarity cognition analysis by multidimensional Scaling and K-means clustering, it was found that students recognize that public, national, university, school library are similar, on the other hand, portal company and special library are different from those types. In the jobs, user service jobs and technical service jobs are recognized as separated clusters, and cultural program job is also recognized dissimilarly from those clusters. By the way, images about work satisfaction and stability of employment shows high in national library; high wage shows high in portal company; employee's growth potential shows high in special library; job importance shows high in reference service jobs; difficulty shows high in content's job. Anyway, in the workplace selection, almost students regard stability of employment as top priorities, accordingly they prefers public library at most. Such a preference concentration tendency is strongly appeared in local university students than in metropolitan area students as a result of Pearson's chi-square test.

This study investigated the information behavior and media use of Korean young adults with immigration background, focusing on the influence of their social and cultural context. 11 young adults between 13 and 18 with immigration background participated in the study. The participants provided data via daily logs about information needs, written surveys about media use, and two times of in-depth interviews. The data gathered from these diverse methods were used in analyzing the participants' daily problem situations and attempts to satisfy information needs using media. The information needs of young adults with immigration background in their everyday lives included study, leisure, appearance, self-development, living, and career searching - study and leisure were the most needed information subjects. The young adults who participated in this study were actively using media to solve their information needs. For them, media was an emotional support, a tool to express their own identities, a solution that gives all the answers, and a good companion to spend time with. The proposed strategies about young adults' media use in this study could be used in planning library services for children of families with immigration background.
Social enterprises that are solving pressing global issues and providing services such as micro-finance, affordable housing, appropriate technology and education for the 'bottom of the pyramid' as well as cultural and community-related businesses that improve the 'quality of life' within a society are the target of impact investments. Among them, a capital financing is one of the most important factor in founding and fostering of social enterprise. However, the capital market for social enterprises in South Korea are not yet sufficiently developed. The Britain and U.S.A. attempted to solve the social problem by the introduction of the social innovation credit model, for example, social impact bonds(SIB), Big Society Capital, DBLIF, and ACCION International, which are considered as an innovative new financing instrument for social program. Instruments are being attempted for the first time in Britain and America. This study have two purposes. The first purpose is abstracting the institutional mechanism for introduction of impact investment such as SIB and DBLIF case in Britain and U.S.A.. Second, analyzing type and mix of policy instrument on impact investment from the perspective of policy instrument.

The purpose of this study was to develop educational programs of STEAM-based project under the theme of "Photography of Earth" for the circle activities of the creative experiential activity, to be applied this program to them and to identify technology subject self-efficacy and change in attitude toward engineering. In order to achieve the research objectives, this program was applied to middle school student in Cheonan, STEAM-based circle during 9 class instruction. The results of this study are as follows. First, the STEAM program contents for circle activities were selected through utilizing a five-stage design model(preparation, design, development, implementation and evaluation) and analyzing the curriculum. After that we have developed a teaching plan, STEAM-Story, student activity sheets from the viewpoint of cultural fusion and have applied the circle activities of the creative experiential Activity during 4 months. Second, The result of the test(pre- and post-test) about STEAM program that has been developed were different about technology subject self-efficacy and attitude toward engineering. Therefore, we have verified that the effect of the STEAM-based project under the theme of "Photography of Earth" for the circle activities on the attitudes toward engineering and self-efficacy in middle school is effective.
The present study began from the criticism that the discussions related to the existing digital media have focused on the technical productivity and effectiveness to focus on the positive perspective. Therefore, this study will concretely confirm the dangers that may be caused by digital media and confirm the overall risk perception for digital media such as the user's opinions for risk evaluations and risk management for such dangers. As a result of making the digital convergence media, the smart phone, as the detail study subject, the 17 risk types including the 'risks of financial dimensions, risks of social-cultural dimensions, risks of individual dimensions and risks of pathological dimensions' were classified. Furthermore, the users appeared to highly evaluate the seriousness and possibilities of risks as a result of analyzing the risk-factor per each risk type(risk magnitude ${\times}$ development possibility). Next, it appeared that the users did not have high degree of reliability for the government in the aspects of countermeasures and prevention of risks and appeared to highly evaluate their expectation and liability for their individual roles. If the seriousness and development possibilities, the evaluations for liability, preventative measures and post-management methods for the risks of smart phones can be thoroughly analyzed and applied, it will be able to expand them as significant political countermeasures that can reduce the risks of other digital media in the future.
The Movie, A Werewolf Boy, describes metaphorically the hidden desire of female audience. The majority of stories about wolves contains fear of wolves inherited by and learned through human history struggling with the nature. They also shows punishment and reward toward wolves as a cultural symbol of evil. This study focuses on analyzing wolves as a metaphor of hidden original desire rather than as a subject of fear and punishment. Soon-Hee's experience with a wolf-boy in her period of puberty and her remembering the experience in her old age expresses her original sexual desire. The movie, A Werewolf boy does not directly deal with sexual content. However, SU-NI's growth through the interaction with the wolf-boy informs us Freudian theory of sex and the mechanism of sexual desire and its repression or realization. Brun Bettelheim's "Little Red Riding Hood" was used to analyze Soon-hee's desire during her puberty and Clarissa Estes's "Women Who Run with the Wolves" were used to explore SU-NI's wildness forgotten in her elderlyhood. This study shows in the process of wolf boy's transformation from biological being into social being awakened the hidden and original desire of woman.
