  • Design an efficient and secure electronic payment system is important for M-Commerce. In this paper, we propose an efficient Micro-Payment Protocol that allows multiple transactions using ID-based public key cryptosystem. Current PayWord system requires to generate certificate of the vendor for each transaction. In this paper, we use a session key instead of certificate key generated by Weil Pairing which use an Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem over finite field $F_q$ for transactions Therefore, it is more secure in Known key attacks as well as Man-in-the-middle attacks.

  • Because of heavy computational overheads, the use of public key cryptosystem in Wireless Sensor Networks seems unfeasible. But some recent researches show that certain public key cryptosystem can be used in WSN, in which the key and data size, power consumption is relatively small. The NTRU cryptosystem is suggested as one of the candidates of public key cryptosystems which can be used in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we propose an efficient key agreement scheme using NTRU and we show that it can be used in wireless sensor networks.

  • Kvarnstrom et al. ${in}^{[10]}$ proposed a rule protection scheme by using one-way hash function to protect rules in security systems over ubiquitous environment. Son et at. ${in}^{[5-6]}$ also prooposed a rule protection scheme for Snort, which is one of the most common IDS. These schemes provide security only for the header information but not for its contents. To solve this problem, this paper presents a scheme based on the symmetric cryptosystem over Snort not only for the header information but also contents. This paper uses the key management based on PCMCIA security module proposed ${by}^{[12]}$ for the symmetric cryptosystem. Our scheme could be adjusted to other security systems, which use the rule based detection.

  • The CRT-RSA cryptosystem is very vulnerable to fault insertion attacks in which an attacker can extract the secret prime factors p, q of modulus N by inserting an error during the computational operation on the cryptographic chip. In this paper, after implementing the CRT-RSA cryptosystem, we try to extract the secret key embedded in commercial microcontroller using optical injection tools such as laser beam or camera flash. As a result, we make sure that the commercial microcontroller is very vulnerable to fault insertion attacks using laser beam and camera flash, and can apply the prime factorization attack on CRT-RSA Cryptosystem.

  • In this paper, a three-key triple data encryption algorithm (TDEA) of a digital cryptosystem based on phase-shifting interferometry is proposed. The encryption for plaintext and the decryption for the ciphertext of a complex digital hologram are performed by three independent keys called a wavelength key k1(λ), a reference distance key k2(dr) and a holographic encryption key k3(x, y), which are represented in the reference beam path of phase-shifting interferometry. The results of numerical simulations show that the minimum wavelength spacing between the neighboring independent wavelength keys is about δλ = 0.007 nm, and the minimum distance between the neighboring reference distance keys is about δdr = 50 nm. For the proposed three-key TDEA, choosing the deviation of the key k1(λ) as δλ = 0.4 nm and the deviation of the key k2(dr) as δdr = 500 nm allows the number of independent keys k1(λ) and k2(dr) to be calculated as N(k1) = 80 for a range of 1,530-1,562 nm and N(dr) = 20,000 for a range of 35-45 mm, respectively. The proposed method provides the feasibility of independent keys with many degrees of freedom, and then these flexible independent keys can provide the cryptosystem with very high security.

  • Cryptanalysis is very important step for auditing and checking strength of any cryptosystem. Some of these cryptosystem ensures confidentiality and security of large information exchange from source to destination using symmetric key cryptography. The cryptanalyst investigates the strengths and identifies weakness key as well as enciphering algorithm. With increase in key size the time and effort required to guess the correct key increases so trend is increase key size from 8, 16, 24, 32, 56, 64, 128 and 256 bits to strengthen the cryptosystem and thus algorithm continues without compromise on the cost of time and computation. Automatic Variable Key (AVK) approach is an alternative to the approach of fixing up key size and adding security level with key variability adds new dimension in the development of secure cryptosystem. Likewise, whenever any new cryptographic method is invented to replace per-existing vulnerable cryptographic method, its deep analysis from all perspectives (Hacker / Cryptanalyst as well as User) is desirable and proper study and evaluation of its performance is must. This work investigates AVK based cryptic techniques, in future to exploit benefits of advances in computational methods like ANN, GA, SI etc. These techniques for cryptanalysis are changing drastically to reduce cryptographic complexity. In this paper a detailed survey and direction of development work has been conducted. The work compares these new methods with state of art approaches and presents future scope and direction from the cryptic mining perspectives.

  • In this paper, a public key kanpsack cryptosystem algorithm is based on the security to a difficulty of polynomial factorization in computer communication is proposed. For the proposed public key kanpsack cryptosystem, a polynomial vector B(x,y,z) is formed by transform of superincreasing vector A, a polynomial f(x,y,z) is selected. Next then, the two polynomials B(x,y,z) and f(x,y,z) is decided on the public key. Therefore a public key knapsack cryptosystem is based on the security to a difficulty of factorization of a polynomial f(x,y,z)=0 with three variables. In this paper, a public key encryption algorithm for data security of computer network is proposed. This is based on the security to a difficulty of factorization. For the proposed public key encryption, the public key generation algorithm selects two polynomials f(x,y,z) and g(x,y,z). The propriety of the proposed public key cryptosystem algorithm is verified with the computer simulation.

  • Esmbedded devices such as smart cards and electronic passports highly demand security of sensitive data. So, the secure implementation of the cryptographic system against various side-channel attacks are becoming more important. In particular, the fault injection attack is one of the threats to the cryptosystem and can destroy the whole system only with single pair of the plain and cipher texts. Therefore, the implementors must consider seriously the attack. Several techniques for preventing fault injection attacks were introduced to a variety of the cryptosystem, But the countermeasures are still inefficient to be applied to the classical RSA cryptosystem. This paper introduces an efficient countermeasure against the fault injection attack for the classical RSA cryptosystem, which is based on the famous Fermat's theorem. The proposed countermeasure has the advantage that it has less computational overhead, compared with the previous countermeasures.

  • In this paper, a public key knapsack cryptosystem algorithm is based on the security to a difficulty of polynomial factorization in computer communication networks is proposed. For the proposed public key knapsack cryptosystem, a polynomial vector Q(x,y,z) is formed by transform of superincreasing vector P, a polynomial g(x,y,z) is selected. Next then, the two polynomials Q(x,y,z) and g(x,y,z) is decided on the public key. The enciphering first selects plaintext vector. Then the ciphertext R(x,y,z) is computed using the public key polynomials and a random integer $\alpha$. For the deciphering of ciphertext R(x,y,z), the plaintext is determined using the roots x, y, z of a polynomial g(x,y,z)=0 and the increasing property of secrety key vector. Therefore a public key knapsack cryptosystem is based on the security to a difficulty of factorization of a polynomial g(x,y,z)=0 with three variables. The propriety of the proposed public key cryptosystem algorithm is verified with the computer simulation.

  • It is news from nowhere that post-quantum cryptography has side-channel analysis vulnerability. Side-channel analysis attack method and countermeasures for code-based McEliece cryptosystem and lattice-based NTRU cryptosystem have been investigated. Unfortunately, the investigation of the ring-LWE cryptosystem in terms of side-channel analysis is as yet insufficient. In this paper, we propose a chosen ciphertext simple power analysis attack that can be applied when ring-LWE cryptography operates on 8-bit devices. Our proposed attack can recover the key only with [$log_2q$] traces. q is a parameter related to the security level. It is used 7681 and 12289 to match the common 128 and 256-bit security levels, respectively. We identify the vulnerability through experiment that can reveal the secret key in modular add while the ring-LWE decryption performed on real 8-bit devices. We also discuss the attack that uses a similarity measurement method for two vectors to reduce attack time.
