다양한 제약조건을 갖는 열개의 파쇄장비 모델들 중 최적 모델 선정을 위한 방법과 신뢰성 (A Methodology and Reliability for Selecting the Optimal Model among Ten Models of Crushing Machine with Various Constraints)

  • It is not difficult to see the road repairing. There are many and various machines which crush road surface. The efficiency and power of the machine depend on crushing head-shape, crushing interval, crushing load, crushing stress, machine's dropping height and roller's kind. The objective of this study is to select the optimal model among ten models of crushing machine with constraints such as crushing depth, variation, and crushed particle size. And then this paper provides the valid theoretical base on selected model. The data for this study are chosen from the site of construction in Kangnung during three months (2004. 6. 1${\~}$2004. 8. 31). The provided methodology in this paper will be fruitful not only for the selection of crushing machine but also for the aspects of construction period, cost, work efficacy according to the condition from the various sites of construction.

  • 수중암반파쇄는 주로 중추에 의한 파쇄와 수중발파에 의존하였습니다. 그러나 최근에는 연안양식과 항만증설에 따라 수중암반파쇄민원이 해소되는 암반파쇄방법으로 대체하고있습니다. 암반파쇄 구역에 인접해 있는 지형, 양식장, 각종시설물 및 부대전자장비와 환경보호구역등을 고려하여 해양환경을 보호하는 효과적인 암반파쇄방법을 검토하였습니다. 파쇄암반수량, 암질특성, 분포상태를 조사하고 암반파쇄시공속도를 고려하여 효과적인 암반파쇄방법을 비교검토하였습니다. 해안 주변역, 즉 연안역의 활용도가 높아지므로 수중암반파쇄민원을 해결하고 환경을 보호하면서 해양시설건설이 동시에 이루어지는 암반파쇄방법으로서 효과적인 방법을 비교검토하였습니다.

고구마 덩굴처리기 개발 (Development of a Vine Crusher for Harvesting Sweet Potato)

  • This study was carried out to develop a vine crusher for harvesting sweet potato. The experimental two-row vine crusher attachable to agricultural tractor composed of vine crushing part with frail type vine crushing blades and vine lifting blades, power transmission part with chain and gear transmission mechanism, crushing height control part with two control wheels and manual levers, and implement frames, was designed and fabricated. And this vine crushing performance was also analyzed. From vine crushing tests, backward travel direction (i.e., rotational direction of the vine crushing blades) showed better vine crushing performance than forward travel direction. Crushing ratio of remained vine was increased, and length of remained vine and length of crushed vine were decreased as working speed was decreased and rotational speed of vine crushing blades was increased. At a working speed of 0.27 m/s and rotational speed of vine crushing blades of 800 rpm, crushing ratio of remained vine was 98%, length of remained vine was 104 mm, and length of crushed vine was 327 mm. But, when crushing vine on irregular ridges, vines and mulching vinyl were wound in the vine crushing part. Therefore, change of location of power transmission chain mechanism, and an automatic control device for controlling crushing height were needed.

  • The electrical pulse separation of concrete samples for the recycling purpose has been investigated by the electrical disintegration method using the discharged high voltageimpulse. First, when the consumed energy increased in electrical crushing, fracture section area increased clearly. This result suggests that crushing energy was consumed efficiently. Secondly, when conventional crushing after electrical disintegration is compared with only conventional crushing, gravels are more stable after electrical crushing. Thus, electrical crushing makes it easy to recover gravels from wasted concrete. In the next year, more efficient recovery of gravel for wasted concrete by electrical disintegration will be investigated. Thus, actual wasted concrete crushing by electrical separation and combination of conventional crushing will be carried out.

입자 결합 및 파쇄 형태에 따른 전단거동 특성 (Characteristics of Shear Behavior According to State of Particle Bonding and Crushing)

  • 조립재료의 입자 결합 및 파쇄 형태가 전단거동 특히 잔류 전단거동 특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여, 개별요소법(DEM, discrete element method)에 기초를 둔 프로그램인 PFC(Particle Flow Code)를 이용하여 링 전단시험을 수치해석적으로 모델링하였다. 본 연구에서는 PFC내의 clump 모델 및 cluster 모델을 이용하여 두 개의 비파쇄모델 그리고 두 개의 파쇄모델을 포함한 총 네 개의 모델을 제시하였다. Lobo-Guerrero and Vallejo(2005)가 제안한 Lobo-crushing 모델의 적합성을 검토하였다. 또한 링 전단시험 모델링의 결과 분석을 통하여 직접전단시험 모델링 결과와 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 잔류 전단거동 분석을 위해서는 링 전단시험의 모델링이 필수적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 잔류 전단강도 분석을 위해서는 Lobo-crushing 모델이 부적합함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 수치해석 모델은 향후 입자 파쇄를 포함한 조립재료의 잔류 전단강도 특성 연구에 다양하게 적용될 수 있다고 판단된다.

파쇄 메카니즘과 파쇄회로에 따른 입도분포 (Particle-Size Distribution Dependent upon Crushing Mechanism and Crushing Circuit)

  • 본 연구에서는 파쇄 메커니즘이 상이한 파쇄기(함마 크럿셔와 롤 크럿셔)와 파쇄회로(개회로 및 폐회로)를 사용하여 각각의 파쇄기 종류에 따른 백운석 파쇄산물의 입도분포와 파쇄특성에 대해 알아보았다. 함마 크럿셔로 파쇄한 경우, 100 mesh 이하의 미분이 약 34 wt.%로 롤 크럿셔로 파쇄한 경우보다 약 3 배 이상 높았다. 또한 14~25 mesh 산물은 롤 크럿셔로 파쇄할 경우, 함마 크럿셔로 파쇄한 경우에 비하여 약 20 wt.% 이상 많이 생성되었다. 35 mesh 이하의 산물은 함마 크럿셔로 파쇄 시 전체의 약 80 wt.% 정도였다. 두 파쇄기 모두 개회로에 비해 폐회로 파쇄 시 미분의 발생률이 감소하였다. 광석에 따른 적절한 파쇄기 및 파쇄회로의 선택에 따라 목적하는 입도의 산물을 효율적으로 얻을 수 있다.

Fractal and laboratory analyses of the crushing and abrasion of granular materials

  • Gravels forming part of the base of flexible pavements experience abrasion and crushing as a result of static and dynamic loads. Abrasion takes place when the sharp corners of the particles of gravel are removed as a result of compressive and shear loads. As a result of abrasion, the particles change in shape. Crushing is caused by the fragmentation of the particles into a mixture of many small particles of varying sizes. In this study, the abrasion and crushing of gravels are evaluated experimentally and analytically. The laboratory component of this study involves gravels that were subjected to abrasion and dynamic compression tests. The evaluation of the abrasion and crushing experienced by the gravel was carried out using fractals. In this study, the fractal dimension concept from fractal theory is used to evaluate: (a) the changes in shape, and (b) the crushing (fragmentation) of the original particles of gravel. It was determined that the fractal dimension of the profile of the particles decreased as a result of abrasion. With respect to crushing, the fragmentation fractal dimension was found to increase with the degree of breakage of the gravel. To understand the influence of crushing on the permeability of the gravels, the hydraulic conductivity of the gravels was measured before and after crushing. The hydraulic conductivity of the gravels was found to decrease with an increase in their level of crushing. Also, changes in the angle of friction of the granular materials as a result of abrasion was calculated using the Krumbein's roundness chart. The angle of friction of the granular materials was found to decrease as a result of abrasion.

폐콘크리트 순환골재의 단입자 파쇄 특성 (Crushing Characteristics of Single Particle of Recycled Aggregate from Waste Concrete)

  • 본 연구에서는 각종 구조물 철거 시 발생하는 폐콘크리트를 파쇄 처리하여 발생한 순환골재를 각종 토공 및 보조기 층용에 재활용 시 발생할 수 있는 하중-변위 및 파쇄 특성을 분석하기 위해 단입자 파쇄실험을 실시하였다. 수화물과 골재로 구성된 75mm 이하의 순환골재를 40mm 크기(75-40mm 사이)와 20mm 크기(40-20mm 사이)의 골재로 나누어 실험하였다. 순환골재에 하중이 증가할 경우 단입자의 파쇄 거동은 불규칙한 표면이 가압판에 밀착되면서 초기에 표면이 파쇄되는 '표면파쇄(Surface crushing)', 표면파쇄 이후 골재와 수화물이 분리되는 소규모 부분적 파쇄와 균열이 반복적으로 발생하는 '수화물파쇄(Hydrate crushing)', 수화물파쇄가 단계적으로 반복되다가 최대하중에서 골재가 파쇄되면서 하중이 급격히 감소되는 취성파괴인 '골재파쇄(Aggregate crushing)'의 순서로 파쇄 사이클(crushing cycle)이 진행되었다. 한편, 하중이 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 이러한 파쇄 사이클은 수 차례 반복되는 경향을 보였다. 순환골재의 형상은 둥글거나 사각형에 가깝거나, 삼각형 또는 길쭉한 형태로 표면상태나 형상에 따라 파쇄 형상이 다르게 나타났다. 골재파쇄(최대 파쇄)에서 취성파괴로 하중이 감소되는 비율인 파쇄하중 감소율은 50% 이상인 경우는 63% 정도이며, 90% 이상인 경우도 15% 정도로 나타났다. 40mm 단입자는 최대하중 3.05~4.38kN 정도에서 대부분 파쇄되어 작은 입자로 분리되며, 세립화된 단입자 개수를 기준으로 20mm 이하의 분포비율은 약 70% 정도였다.

New insights about ice friction obtained from crushing-friction tests on smooth and high-roughness surfaces

  • Ice crushing occurs in many situations that involve a sliding frictional component such as sports involving ice-contact, ice interaction with ship hulls, and ice-on-ice sliding/crushing within glaciers and between interacting sea ice floes. Ice crushing-friction tests were conducted in the lab at $-10^{\circ}C$ using a set of acrylic ice-crushing platens that included a flat smooth surface and a variety of high-roughness surfaces with regular arrays of small prominences. The experiments were part of Phase II tests of the Blade Runners technology for reducing ice-induced vibration. Ice was crushed against the platens where the ice movement had both a vertical and a horizontal component. High-speed imaging through the platens was used to observe the ice contact zone as it evolved during the tests. Vertical crushing rates were in the range 10-30 mm/s and the horizontal sliding rates were in the range 4.14-30 mm/s. Three types of freshwater ice were used. Friction coefficients were extraordinarily low and were proportional to the ratio of the tangential sliding rate and the normal crushing rate. For the rough surfaces all of the friction coefficient variation was determined by the fluid dynamics of a slurry that flowed through channels that developed between leeward-facing facets of the prominences and the moving ice. The slurry originated from a highly-lubricating self-generating squeeze film of ice particles and melt located between the encroaching intact ice and the surfaces.
