Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC) with high electrical efficiency and low environmental effect has been developed for the commercial application of power generation fields. Recently we have built a 25 kW molten carbonate fuel cell power generation system and tested it. The MCFC system is composed of diverse peripheral units such as reformer, pre-heater, water purifier. electrical loader, gas supplier, and recycling systems. The stack itself was made of 40 cells of $6.000 cm^2$ area each. The stack showed an output of 28.6 kW power and a reliable performance at atmospheric operation. while in pressurized operation the stack showed an output 25.6 kW lower than the atmospheric operation. The reason of lower performance of pressurized operation was caused from a gas cross over shown in few cells in the stack.
We investigate near-infrared light (NIR) propagation in a model of an adult head using an extensive Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. The adult head model is a four-layered slab which consists of a surface layer, a cerebrospinal fluid layer, a gray-matter layer, and a white-matter layer. We study the effects of a refractive index mismatch on the model, calculating the intensity of detected light, mean flight time, and partial mean flight time of each layer for various refractive indices of the cerebrospinal fluid layer as functions of source-detector spacing. The Monte Carlo simulation shows that the refractive index mismatch presents very rich results including rapidly decaying intensity of detected light and a peak and cross-over in the partial mean flight time with source-detector spacing. We also investigate spatial sensitivity profiles at various source-detector spacings, discussing the index mismatch effect on the model.
In the powder compact melting technique, proper precursor fabrication is very important because density distribution after foaming and foamability are determined during precursor fabrication process. The fabrication of the precursor has to be performed very carefully because any residual porosity or other defects will lead to poor results in further processing. In order to evaluate the effect of the compaction parameters on the kinetics of the foaming process, a series of experiments were performed. In this study, aluminium foams with a closed cell structure were fabricated by using both the powder compact method and the induction heating process. A proper induction coil was designed to obtain a uniform temperature distribution over the entire cross sectional area of precursor. To establish the foamable precursor fabrication conditions, effects of process parameters such as the titanium hydride content (0.3∼1.5 wt.%), pressing pressure of the foamable precursor (50∼150kN) on the pore morphology were investigated.
Gas-phase phenyl group migration within the protonated ketones has been studied MO theoretically using the AM1 method. The initial state structure shows relatively strong resonance delocalization of positive charge into the nonmigrating (Y) ring, while the ring migration (Z-ring) is nearly complete in the transition state. These results are reflected in the large $p^+_Z$ (<0) and $p^+_$Y (>0) values and in the predominant contribution of resonance (r) over inductive (field, f) effect, r/f ranging from 1.3 ($p^+_r$) to 1.5 ($p^+_z$). The cross-interaction constant $p_{YZ}$ is vanishingly small ($p_{YZ}$=0.03) which is in contrast to the larger magnitudes for benzilic ($p_{YZ}$=-0.48) and azibenzil ($p_{YZ}$=-0.53) rearrangement processes. The relationship found between the extent of resonance contribution in the initial state and the magnitude of $p_{YZ}$ provides strong support for the proportionality between the magnitude of $p_{YZ}$ and the change in the intensity of interaction, ${\Delta}I^{\cdot}_{YZ}$, in the activation process.

In this study, the effect of porosity distribution pattern on the free vibration analysis of porous FG plates with various boundary conditions is studied. The material properties of the plate and the porosities within the plate are considered to vary continuously through the thickness direction according to the volume fraction of constituents defined by the modified rule of the mixture, this includes porosity volume fraction with four different types of porosity distribution over the cross-section. The governing partial differential equation of motion for the free vibration analysis is obtained using hyperbolic shear deformation theory. An analytical solution is presented for the governing PDEs for various boundary conditions. Results of the presented solution are compared and validated by the available results in the literature. Moreover, the effects of material and porosity distribution and geometrical parameters on vibrational properties are investigated.
We report the results of a real-time synchrotron x-ray scattering study of the growth of TiN thin films on Si(001) substrates by RF sputtering. Our experiemnts show that the morphology of the TiN films strongly depends on growth conditions. After the nucleation and growth takes place with random crystallographic orientation at the very early stage, the films grow with a preferred orientation. Such preferred orientation was found to depend on both the sputtering power and the carrier gases used in the sputtering. Generally, the final morphology assumes either(111) or (002) crystallographic orientation. Using Ar sputtering, a cross-over effect from(002) to (111) was observed at intermediate time. The nature of the observed morphological changes is discussed.

Nowadays the deadly virus famous as COVID-19 spread all over the world starts from the Wuhan China in 2019. This disease COVID-19 Virus effect millions of people in very short time. There are so many symptoms of COVID19 perhaps the Identification of a person infected with COVID-19 virus is really a difficult task. Moreover it's a challenging task to identify whether a person or individual have covid test positive or negative. We are developing a framework in which we used machine learning techniques..The proposed method uses DecisionTree, KNearestNeighbors, GaussianNB, LogisticRegression, BernoulliNB , RandomForest , Machine Learning methods as the classifier for diagnosis of covid ,however, 5-fold and 10-fold cross-validations were applied through the classification process. The experimental results showed that the best accuracy obtained from Decision Tree classifiers. The data preprocessing techniques have been applied for improving the classification performance. Recall, accuracy, precision, and F-score metrics were used to evaluate the classification performance. In future we will improve model accuracy more than we achieved now that is 93 percent by applying different techniques

We are designed was to find an efficient warm-up method for resistance training for muscle hypertrophy, and 10 males with at least 3 years of resistance training experience were selected as subjects. The 75% 1RM was measured directly based on the pre-measured bench press 1RM. After that, the main experiment of 75% 1RM bench press according to the three warm-up methods was conducted one week apart, and all experiments were randomized and cross-over. Performance according to the warm-up method (3) was measured by total exercise volume, and physiological changes were determined by myocardial workload. All post-measurement data were analyzed using SPSS.22.0 and analyzed using repeated measures one-way ANOVA and contrast comparisons were made using the deviation method. The results showed that the method of gradually increasing the number of repetitions by performing the same intensity as the intensity of the main exercise in the form of muscle hypertrophy, but at submaximal repetitions, showed the highest performance.
Purpose: To evaluate thermal effect and medication compliance of red ginseng extract. Methods: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, cross-over clinical study was performed. Twenty four healthy, married women aged 30-45 years with FSFI score below 25 were randomly divided into two groups; red ginseng group(N=12) and placebo group(N=12). During the first 6-week period (Study1), each group was dosed with red ginseng or placebo twice a day. Before starting the second 6-week period(Study2), a crossover design was chosen with a 2-week break(Washout period). Interchanging two groups after Washout period, red ginseng and placebo were dosed to each group. The efficacy of thermal effect was measured with subjective warm sensation scale and lower abdomen temperature by Digital Infrared Thermographic imaging(DITI) before and after each 6-week period. A medication compliance was assessed after each 6-week period and the correlation medication compliance between Sasang Constitution and subjective warm sensation was analyzed. Results: Overall 23 participants completed the study. In subjective warm sensation scale, after taking placebo, all participants exhibited an improving trend, but there was no significant difference. In lower abdomen temperature by DITI, statistically significant objective thermal effect of red ginseng was also not shown. A medication compliance was higher in Yin constitution(Taeumin, Soeumin), and showed an upward trend with decreasing subjective warm sensation. But no statistically significant difference was exhibited. Conclusion: Statistically significant thermal effect of red ginseng was not shown in this study. We anticipate if a long-term clinical trial is practiced, significant thermal effect of red ginseng will be shown.
