종격종 림프관종은 림프관에서 기원하는 드문 양성 종양이다. 대부분 출생 시 존재하며 생후 첫 2년 이내 발견되는데, 성인에서는 매우 드물게 발생하며, 대부분 증상이 없이 단순 흉부 방사선촬영에서 이상소견이 발견되어 진단된다. 저자들은 단순 흉부 방사선촬영에서 이상소견이 발견된 3명의 환자에서 수술을 통하여 조직학적으로 종격동 림프관종임을 진단하고 치료한 3명의 환자를 경험하여 이를 보고하는 바이다.

This paper reviews and examines the empirical results of past research concerning individual differences and similarities in landscape preference and evaluation. The conflicting results (differences and similarities) found in the review are attributed to the variety of methodology adopted by the past research and to the lack of comprehensive theoretical base in the field of landscape research. Two suggestions are derived from the review. First, both the landscape type to be evaluated and the measurement context to be used by research subjects have critical importance in results. Thus, it is suggested that researchers should be careful in selecting landscape type and measurement tool. Second, more scholartic endeavours should be put into a development of comprehensive theory of landscape experience that could explain both differences and similarities in people's landscape preference and evaluation. Once developed, the theory would not only provide us more valid and specific research methodology, but also allow us to design more healthy and valued landscape.

This study suggests a set of Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) of Causality Mechanism which integrates the matter of characteristics of emerging market and its expansion strategies. In order to make CLD more objective, all causalities are articulated from recent 55 studies (2000~2012) of SSCI Top Journals. This approach is valuable in that it is a first try to draw all the causalities from rigorous literature review regarding emerging market strategy. The 5 CLDs will show and clarify the strategies of how to expand into emerging market for MNCs. In sum, political activity and institutional void is a critical factor related to characteristics of emerging market, and CSV and cultural distance should be considered as a leverage point. For all this study's contribution to clarify the causality of emerging market strategies with abundant literature review, the study has its limits in integrating and testing CLD.

This study examines how an initially perceived product value affects consumer's purchase intention after reading online reviews with various tones. The study proposes that associations among initially perceived overall product value, degree of confirmation resulting from reading the reviews, and final purchase intention differ across review tones such that 1) when the tone is favorable, the effect of an initially perceived product value is stronger than when the tone is critical, and 2) when the tone is extreme, the effect of confirmation is stronger than when the tone is moderate. The survey was conducted with 276 online shopping mall users in Korea, and most of the hypotheses were supported. This study asserts that the effects of online reviews should be considered together with customer's level of expectation formed prior to reading online reviews, which resulted from extensive search and screening processes that the customer went through before reading online reviews.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review and identify the meaning and components of the concept, Frailty. Method: We conducted literature review of studies that concluded the word of 'frail' or 'frailty between 1980 and 2008, and used MEDLINE, CINAHL database to select the articles. Results: Frailty is defined as a concept with multidomains, which are physical, cognitive, psychological, social. Critical characteristics of Frailty include multidominal deficiency, combined accumulation, diminished ability to keep up the independence of daily living, states beyond one's reserve capacity, dynamic relativity, proximity to adverse health outcome, aggregated symptoms. Frailty is caused by decreased physical activity, loss of sensory function, Chronic symptoms or signs, relationship with Caregiver, social isolation. Moreover, Frail elderly is at risk of falls and institutionalization. Conclusion: Frailty is very useful concept, because it has the potential to identify the elderly population at risk of adverse health outcomes. Based on this results, the appropriate tool for screening Korean Frail elderly and Nursing intervention for them needs to be developed.

Various problems on logistics systems have been dealt with recently as research issues since they were regarded critical for taking up a better position in the increasingly competitive global market. In particular, the freight transportation is considered as a key factor which affects the economic competitiveness of a whole nation as well as the production cost of individual companies. The objective of this study is to identify main issues and review recent foreign and domestic studies related to the freight transportation. The studies are classified into two categories according to the hierarchical level in the decision making process: infra structure design and transportation strategies, service design and operation. Main issues are introduced with a brief review on the related literature and methodologies applied.

Biotechnology will play critical role in improving animal productivity. Animal growth rate and muscle deposition potential can be greatly improved by the application of biotechnology and biotechnological products. Administration of recombinant somatotropin (ST) or other compounds such as IGF-1 and growth hormone-releasing peptides (GHRPs) can enhance growth rate and carcass lean percentage. Gene transfer offers a powerful approach to manipulate endocrine system and metabolic pathways toward faster growth and better feed efficiency. Biotechnology is also extensively used for improving metabolism and activity of gut microorganisms for better nutrient digestibility. Knockout of growth-inhibiting genes such as myostatin results in considerable acceleration of body weight and muscle growth. Animal growth can also be improved by the use of gene therapy. Immunomodulation is another approach for efficient growth through controlling the activity of endogenous anabolic hormones. All the above aspects will be discussed in this review.

Viscoelastic instabilities are of fundamental importance to understanding the physics of complex fluids and of practical importance to materials processing and fluid characterization. Significant progress has been made over the past 15 years in understanding instabilities in viscoelastic flows with curved streamlines and is reviewed here. Taylor-Couette flow, torsional flow between a cone and plate, and torsional flow between parallel plates have received special attention due to both the basic significance of these flows and their critical role in rheometry. First, we review the criteria for determining when these flows become unstable due to elasticity in the absence of inertia, and discuss the generalization of these criteria to more complex flows with curved streamlines. Then, focusing on experiments and simulations in the Taylor-Couette problem, we review how thermal sensitivity (i.e., the dependence of fluid viscosity and elasticity on temperature) and inertia affect the stability of viscoelastic flows. Finally, we conclude with some general thoughts on unresolved issues and remaining challenges related to viscoelastic instabilities.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the economic effectiveness of by conducting a literature review of published articles, masters theses, and doctoral dissertations. Method: Prior to the literature review, inclusion-exclusion criteria were established. We then reviewed 1,029 CINAHL, MEDLINE, and Cochrane DB papers, and 153 RISS papers collected between Results: A total of 12 studies met the inclusion-exclusion criteria.-effectiveness: 6 cost-effectiveness studies, 1 cost-utility studies, and 5 cost-benefit studies. Each of the 12 reviewed studies concluded that home care nursing had greater economic benefits than other compared healthcare services. Conclusion: Home care nursing has significant economic benefits in multi health care service settings and for various patient groups. Therefore these results will be used a critical evidence for the development of economically effective home based health care systems for future policy making.

Objectives To review the epigenetic modifications involved in chronic pain and to improve individualized intervention for the chronic pain. Methods Focused literature review. Results Significant laboratory and clinical data support that epigenetic modifications have a potential role for development of chronic pain. Conclusions Epigenetic approach may identify mechanisms critical to the development of chronic pain after injury, and may provide new pathways and target mechanisms for future treatment and individualized medicine.
