기업들이 제품을 개발하는데 가치공학을 적용하여 실시할 때 느끼는 공통적인 어려움은 기능을 어떻게 정확하게 정의하느냐가 관건인 것으로 나타났다. 기능이라는 추상적인 개념을 어떻게 수치화하느냐에 따라 가치공학의 효과가 차이가 나기 때문이다. 더 나아가 가치공학의 성과를 향상시키기 위해서는 가치의 향상이 요구되어지는데 가치공학을 실시하고 있는 대부분의 기업들은 원가절감에 목적을 두고 이 방법을 추진하고 있다. 제품 개발의 연구결과 기능은 충족하면서 본체, 노트북, 부루투스 프로브가 제품에 대부분을 차지하는 것을 확인할 수 있으며, 원가절감을 위해서는 안정된 품질이 요구되는 것과 맞추어 구매에서의 원가 절감노력이 필요하다고 사료되며 구매업체의 다변화를 통한 가격다운 절감노력이 필요한 것으로 분석, 연구되었다.

This paper proposes the cost analysis on the energy efficient equipment when this equipment is participated in the demand-side bidding. Conventional demand-side bidding is exercised through load re-distribution. However if this load reduction is exercised by the use of high efficient equipment, its effect will be assumed to be more economical. This paper analyses this cost-benefit effect of high efficient equipment in the demand-side bidding.

The objective of study is to evaluate the effect of speed control hump on traffic operation and accidents. Three sites were investigated for the change of traffic accidents before and after the hump installation. Vehicle speeds approaching the hump were also analyzed. The study revealed that not only the number of traffic accidents but also the accident severity were significantly reduced by the installation of hump. Further, different types of traffic accidents with lower severity were observed after the hump installation. For the effect of speed reduction by hump, it was found that the speeds observed at 15m upstream of hump were in the range of 36~50 percent of approaching speeds which were not affected by (ie, without) the hump. Economic analysis of hump installation showed the benefit-cost ratio of 4.3 and 11.2 at two sites. Further analysis revealed that the benefit by the accident reduction exceeds the cost by speed reduction and installation capital if AADT is below 43,150 vehicles on two lane highways. It is recommended from the study that humps should be considered on two lane highways of high accident locations for excessive speeds to reduce traffic accidents and severity.

This paper introduce the technology of peak demand reduction using automatic water tank pumping system on the apartment. That systems on the apartments installed water tank can control pumping(electricity) demand. Generally, system peak demand is occurred at the same time on workday and many water pumps consume electric power randomly. At this point, shift of operating time of water pump can reduce peak demand using automatic water tank pumping system. We were operating this system on some apartments for test of effect of peak demand reduction. and we represent result of demand shift. This result suggests that spread of the automatic water pumping system can contribute to reduce system peak demand and reduce system operation cost.

태양열 집열판을 이용한 가온재배 실태를 조사 분석하고 그에 따른 문제점을 도출하여 해결방안을 모색, 향후 자연에너지 이용 기기제작 및 사용의 기초자료를 제공하고자 태양열 집열판을 이용한 20농가를 조사한 결과, 설치 비용은 18백만원/20a정도 소요되었으며, 주 재배작목은 토마토(30%)와 화훼(40%)였고, 포도, 고추, 오이, 상추 및 딸기 등도 일부 재배하고 있었다. 태양열이용 정보는 대부분 지도기관에서 얻고 있었으며, 연료절감 효과가 20%미만이라고 응답한 농가가 75%로 지도기관에서 조사한 대부분 20%이상과는 차이가 있었다. 연료절감 효과에 비하여 시설비의 과중과 시공업체의 기술부족이 문제점으로 나타나 이의 보완이 필요하였다.

This work presents a proposal for employing reduced numerical integration in the formulation of the 4-node quadrilateral solid finite element. The use of these low-order integration rules leads to numerical instabilities such as those producing the hourglass effect. The proposed procedure allows evaluating a given constitutive model only in one integration point, achieving an attractive computational cost reduction and, also, successfully controls the hourglass effect. A validation of the proposal is included and discussed throughout the paper. To show the efficiency of the proposal, several application examples of masonry structures are studied and discussed. To represent the non-linear mechanical behaviour of masonry a plastic-damage model is implemented within the application of this sub-integration scheme. Also, in order to have a full and computationally efficient strategy to determine the behaviour of masonry structures, involving its evolution to collapse, a homogenization technique with a macro-modeling approach is used. The methodology discussed throughout this paper demonstrates a substantial computational cost reduction and an improved approximation of the non-linear problem evidenced by a reduction of up to 85% of the computational time for some cases.

이 논문에서 우리는 MFCC 특징벡터의 차원 저감을 통해 음성 인식에서의 계산량을 줄이는 방법을 조사한다. 특징벡터의 특성분해는 벡터의 성분을 분산의 크기에 따라 배치되도록 선형 변환 시켜준다. 첫 번째 성분은 가장 큰 분산을 가져서 패턴 분류에서 가장 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 분산이 작은 성분들을 제외시키는 차원 저감을 통하여, 계산량을 줄이면서 동시에 음성 인식 성능을 저하시키지 않는 방법을 생각할 수 있다. 실험 결과, MFCC 특징벡터의 성분을 절반 정도로 줄여도 음성인식 오류율에 큰 악영향이 없음이 확인되었다.

Recently, researches on IT Service Management (ITSM) for improving information system operation service and information system outsourcing cost estimation model are proliferating. This study suggests a new cost model of IT operation service and optimizing method based upon the characteristics of operation service as a long-term and continuous business service for both user's and service provider's point of view. This study explains the cost optimization model of IT operation service by improving service request management process, such as adequate reception and control, proper valuation, process management using project management methodology, effective organization and time management of service personnel. Especially in this study, service ability improvement effect and fixed operation cost reduction effect are defined to prove the proposed new cost model.

The longitudinal vibration of the tape in the tape transport system influences the performance of the nagnetic tape-recording system. Generally it is controlled by a passive method with impedance roller which is easy to implement and cost-effective. Therefore the effect of the impedance roller in reducing the tape vibration was analyzed in this paper. The practical tape transport system was modelled mathematically as a mass-spring system. Both simulation and experimental study were carried out in order to show the vibration reduction effect of the impedance roller.
