Generally, existing parallel main-memory spatial index structures to avoid the trade-off between query freshness and CPU cost uses light-weight locking techniques. However, still, the lock based methods have some limits such as thrashing which is a well-known problem in lock based methods. In this paper, we propose a distributed index structure for moving objects exploiting the parallelism in multiple machines. The proposed index is a lock free multi-version concurrency technique based on the D-Stream model of Spark Stream. The proposed method exploits the multiversion nature of D-Stream of Spark Streaming.

The purposes of the study were to identify the operational characteristics in employee feeding facilities, and to examine the correlations of productivity and these characteristics. A questionnaire was developed and mailed the 500 dietitians in employee feeding facilities in Seoul and Kyoungki Do. Usable questionnaires were received from 117 respondents for a response rate of 23.4％. The questionnaire was designed to determine the productivity index and to investigate the relationship between operational characteristics and productivity index. The questionnaire was contained 2 parts with a total of 16 statements. Data were analyzed for descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis using SPSS/PC programs. The average productivity indices of 117 facilities were 6.91 meals/hr. Total meals served/week was significantly correlated to the productivity index (r=0.441, p < 0.001). No of average servings per meal, percentage of convenience food use, average minutes for service/day, and employment in professional practice of dietitian were also positively correlated, while food cost was negatively correlated to the productivity.

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is an effective alternative to conventional inspections which are time-consuming and subjective. SHM can detect damage early and reduce maintenance cost and thereby help reduce the likelihood of catastrophic structural events to infrastructure such as bridges. After reviewing the Damage Index Method (DIM), an Iterative Damage Index Method (IDIM) is proposed to improve the accuracy of damage detection. These two damage detection techniques are compared based on damage on two structures, a simply supported beam and a pedestrian bridge. Compared to the traditional damage detection algorithm, the proposed IDIM is shown to be less arbitrary and more accurate.

The target costing technique, mathematically discussed by Sauers, only uses the $C_p$ index along with Taguchi loss function and ${\bar{X}}-R$ control charts to set up goal control limits. The new specification limits derived from Taguchi loss function is linked through the $C_p$ value to ${\bar{X}}-R$ control charts to obtain goal control limits. This study further considers the reflected normal loss function as well as the $C_{pk}$ index along with its lower confidence interval in forming goal control limits. With the use of lower confidence interval to replace the point estimator of the $C_{pk}$ index and reflected normal loss function proposed by Spiring to measure the loss to society, this modified and improved target costing technique would become more robust and applicable in practice. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate how this modified and improved target costing technique works.

LCCA module enabling to estimate LCC and analyze time-variant reliability index of a plate girder bridge was developed. The developed module was based on the designed data structure following the standardized methodology of ISO/STEP, LCCA module consisted of LCC estimation module, which is composed of six sub modules according to the cost category, and reliability index analysis module, which is composed of time-variant corrosion sub module, time-variant live load sub module, and element reliability analysis sub module, The effectiveness of the developed LCCA module was verified by estimating LCC and analyzing time-variant reliability index of a plate girder bridge on the basis of the constructed test database.

In the course of studying the design of securing the 100-year-long durability of 100 years the subway structure according to the requested service by the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Construction Headquarters, we analyzed 14 construction sites adopting the durability design in subway line No. 9 and concluded as follows: 1. When comparing with 158, the environment index presented for securing 100-year-long durability of subway structure in subway line No. 9, the index of durability was verified as 159.7$\~$179.8 2. When examining the increase value of durability index, we verified that the constructors didn't make various choices in method but they employed the uniformly selected system. 3. Under consideration of the bid form, the construction under bid contract in bulk gave the impacts on the construction cost with attention to selection of the durability index, while the construction under alternative contract in bid adopted uniformly the standard presented by the ordering party.

This paper is to verify if the company's core competency and IT outsourcing capability have a significant influence on each other.

The management systems of defense projects need to be well-maintained because of huge cost and long-terms of acquisition & operation in conducting defense acquisition. In this paper, we use a structural equation model(SEM) to develop an project management index(PMI) for effective defense project. The concept of a customer satisfaction index is used to assess the PMI for strategic improvement plans for various characteristics of project management. It is expected that our model can be used to evaluate and improve the project management capability of defense acquisition.

It is necessary to set up a standard of estimation for annual unit price of sale and cost, damage rate for calculating compensation against fishery damage objectively. Two items on the unit price and cost have regulations but the damage rate has not, so it may occurred some problems such as reasonability and balance because the estimation should be handling by an appraiser's knowledge and experience. This study has analyzed using Regression model and searched variable costs and fixed costs about each items appraisers to operate in the present. It is compare profit damage index is calculated by an estimated model and an appraised example. This analysis showed highly 23-30% estimated model more than appraised example. It means the overestimation for fishery damage. This difference has caused by limited data, lack of sample, much difference in the standard deviation, and has not classified each kind of business and weight of coastal fishery, the overestimation more than what expected. This study has analyzed that the applied rate of fixed and variable cost in relation to the compensation in the cost of coastal fishery is very valuable.

The Korean military has sought to build an all-round military force against the national and international security environment and future asymmetric threats as well as the military threats it faces. However, while raising the need for timely electrification, there are few cases of quantitatively evaluating the loss when electrification is delayed, making it difficult for our military to provide a logical basis to support the importance of the electrification period. Therefore, through this study, we tried to analyze the index of loss cost that can support the need for timely electrification with logical and quantitative data and present it as a logical basis. To this end, the loss cost was calculated in terms of combat efficiency, equipment utilization rate, and maintenance requirements, which can be quantitatively calculated based on "combat readiness," a general impact on the military in case of delayed timely electrification.
