The aim of the present study was to measure intra-individual consistency in clothing and fabric evaluation and to examine its relation to the ratings. A sample of 93 female and 97 male university students rated clothing of 4 styles of daytime wear and 2 fabrics on 15 pairs of polar adjectives twice in 7-days interval. Correlation coefficients between the two ratings for each subject, intra-individual consistency in the evaluation, ranged from -0.12 to 0.89 and mean coefficient was 0.63 of female and -0.01 to 0.78 and mean coefficient was 0.54 of male. Based on the coefficients, the subjects were classified into three groups: high, medium, and low intra-individual consistency. Analysis of variance of mean ratings by the three groups revealed that significant difference existed in 24% of female and 23% of male in 90 combinations of 6 clothing and 15 semantic differential scales. Female of subjects with high intra-individual consistency were most likely definite to evaluate clothing, whereas the ones with low were least. But male subjects were not definite. Mean correlation coefficients for style evaluation subscales of female was 0.39, but male was 0.44. Among the semantic differential scales, high stability in the two ratings was observed for the synthetic clothing evaluation. Correlation coefficients for each clothing obtained from the mean score of the subjects in each semantics differential scale were around 0.98, including that the mean scores of the subjects in each scale could yield excellent stability in clothing evaluation.

Recent trend changes a criterion for evaluation of burner that environmental problem is raised as global issue. For efficient driving problem, the higher thermal efficiency and the lower oxygen in exhaust gas, burner is evaluated the better. For environmental problem, burner must satisfy $NO_{X}$ limit and CO limit. Consequently, 'good burner' means on whose thermal efficiency is high under the constraint of $NO_{X}$ and CO consistency. To make existing burner satisfy recent criterion, it is highly recommended to develop feedback control scheme whose output is the consistency of $NO_{X}$ and CO. This paper describes development of real time flame diagnosis technique that evaluate and diagnose combustion state such as consistency of components in exhaust gas, stability of flame in quantitative sense. This study focuses on wave length of luminescence from chemical reaction measurement of the luminescence via optical measuring apparatus and derive correlation with consistency of components in exhaust gas by image processing technique.

In the construction of earth dam, embankment and highway by filling, a compaction contributes to increasing the density of soil by applying pressure. The effect of compaction depends on various factors such as soil type, moisture content, gradation, consistency, and compaction energy. In this study, the correlations amone maximum dry density, moisture content, dry density, and moisture content are analyzed. Some results obtained in this study are summarizep as follows. 1. The maximum dry density sinoreases with increased of optimum moisture content and the correlations of them can be represented by; ${\gamma}$dmx=a-b(W0) 2. Maximum dry density and liquid limit show negative linear correlation and can be represented by; ${\gamma}$dmx=a-b(LL). 3. Optimum moisture content and liquid limit, plastic limit show positive linear correlation and can be represented by the following equation, W0=a+b(LL) W0=a+b(PL). 4. Liquid limit and plastic limit show positive linear correlation, and can be represented by the following equation, LL=a+b(PL).

The aim of the present study was to measure intra-individual consistency in clothing style evaluation and to examine its relation to the ratings. For this study, a pilot test was conducted to 50 clothing majored university students to explore the stimulus of‘cute’,‘casual’,‘sexy’,‘elegant’,‘intelligent’,‘formal’,‘romantic’,‘individual’,‘refined’for the 9 each image styles from the 32 spring wears in fashion magazine$\boxDr$FARBE$\boxUl$(March, 2000). On the basis of the preliminary survey, the question items explored the 15 pairs of bipolar adjectives as seven-point Likert type. The main survey was preceded 94 female and 111 men of university students from March 13 to 24 in 2000, twice for 7-days interval. As a result of analyzing of correlation coefficients between the two ratings for each subjects, intra-individual consistency in the evaluation, ranged from -.11 to .87 and mean coefficient was .64 of female and .20 to .76 and mean coefficient was .57 of male. Female had higher intra-individual consistency in the evaluation than male. Based on the coefficients, the subjects were classified into three groups: high, medium, and low intra-individual consistency. Analysis of variance of mean ratings by the three groups revealed that significant difference existed in 42% of female and 25% of male in 135 combinations of 9 clothing and 15 semantic differential scales. There was an apparent tendency that subjects of female with high intra-individual consistency were mostly definitely to evaluate clothing, whereas the ones with low were least. But male shows opposit trend compare to each groups of female. The result of this study, it was found that female rated higher intra-individual consistency and definition in the two times evaluations than male and among the semantic differential scales'consistency differ depending on style and gender. It is believed that the result of this study is helpful clothing image evaluation, and clothing image selection tendency.
This study examined the affective representation and response consistency among individuals using affective videos, a naturalistic stimulus inducing emotional experiences most similar to those in daily life. In this study, multidimensional scaling was conducted to investigate whether the various affective representations induced through video stimuli are located in the core affect dimensions. A cross-participant classification analysis was also performed to verify whether the video stimuli are well classified. Additionally, the newly developed intersubject correlation analysis was conducted to assess the consistency of affective representations across participant responses. Multidimensional scaling revealed that the video stimuli are represented well in the valence dimension, partially supporting Russell (1980)'s core affect theory. The classification results showed that affective conditions were successfully classified across participant responses. Moreover, the intersubject correlation analysis showed that the consistency of affective representations to video stimuli differed with respect to the condition. This study suggests that the affective representations and consistency of individual responses to affective videos varied across different affective conditions.
In this paper, we propose a pattern consistency index for detecting heterogeneous time series that deviate from the representative pattern of each cluster in clustering time course gene expression data using the Pearson correlation coefficient. We examine its usefulness by applying this index to serum time course gene expression data from microarrays.

Six sigma has been the most influential management innovation tool in order to achieve the customer's satisfaction and keep the competition in the age of limitless competition. The success in six sigma is to find the correct CTQ (Critical to Quality). QFD (Quality function deployment) is the efficient too ever created to tie product and service design decisions directly to customer wants and needs. One of the mistakes in QFD is to analyze using an inconsistent HOQ (House of quality) chart. An inconsistent HOQ chart is one in which the information from the correlation matrix is inconsistent with that from the relationship matrix. This study presents the consistency check and inconsistency check in case of failing the consistency check. Also we propose the procedures using the Limiting Probability in correlation matrix and the Median Rank in relationship matrix in order to be consistent in HOQ chart.
Objectives The Yin-Yang construct was shown to have stable internal reliability or consistency using Sasang Personality Questionnaire (SPQ) throughout the various ages, however the study of stability over specific period of time was only conducted using adults. The purpose of the study was to examine the stability across the time using middle school students whose physical and psychological characteristics were most rapidly changing. Methods The 122 middle school students (65 boys and 57 girls) completed the SPQ at 1st year and 2nd year with one-year time difference. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and Pearson's correlation analysis were employed in order to show the internal consistency and stability over one-year interval after considering sex difference. Results The internal consistency of SPQ-T, SPQ-B, SPQ-C, SPQ-E using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were .61, .72, .28, .28 in 2016 and .62, .72, .26, .46 in 2017. The one-year test-retest reliability of SPQ-T, SPQ-B, SPQ-C, SPQ-E using Pearson's correlation analysis were .56, .61, .31, .23 in boys and .58, .63, .64, .29 in girls. Conclusion The current study showed the stability of Yin-Yang temperament across the one-year time suggesting that the Yin-Yang temperament is quite stable and measurable concept and the SPQ would be considered as an objective and reliable personality assessment.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to establish the reliability and validity of the Wheelchair User's Shoulder Pain Index (WUSPI), which was translated into Korean for long-term wheelchair users. This index measured 15 functional activities, including transfer, self-care, wheelchair mobility and general activities. METHODS: To assess test-retest reliability, 23 long-term wheelchair users completed this self-administered index twice within the same day. Reliability was determined by the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), and Cronbach's alpha was used to measure internal consistency. To examine concurrent validity, 21 long-term wheelchair users completed the questionnaire, and we examined the correlation between the index score and the shoulder range of motion measurements. RESULT: The results showed that the intraclass correlation for test-retest reliability of the total index score ranging from .88 to .99 was good to excellent. Additionally, Cronbach's alpha was .96. The internal consistency indicated excellent. Concurrent validity showed negative correlations of total index score to range of motion measurements of shoulder flexion (rho=-.58), extension (rho=-.09), abduction (rho=-.59), external rotation (rho=-.07) and internal rotation (rho=-.3), suggesting a relationship of total index score to loss of shoulder range of motion. CONCLUSION: The Korean WUSPI shows not only high reliability and internal consistency, but also concurrent validity with loss of shoulder flexion and abduction.
Background: Drug-drug interactions (DDIs) in patients using oral anticancer treatment are more common than in those using injectable anticancer agents. In addition, DDIs related to anticancer treatment are known to cause clinically significant outcomes, such as treatment failure and severe toxicity. To prevent these negative outcomes, significant DDIs are monitored and managed using the information provided in drug databases. We aimed to evaluate the consistency of information on clinically significant DDIs for tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) between representative drug databases. Methods: We selected clinically significant DDIs involving medications that are co-prescribed with TKIs and met the following criteria: the severity level of DDIs was equal or greater than "D" in Lexicomp® or "major" in Micromedex®. We then analyzed the consistency of the severity classification and evidence level between the drug databases. Spearman's correlation coefficient was used to identify the relationship between DDI information in the drug databases. Results: In total, 627 DDI pairs were identified as clinically significant; information on these was provided by Lexicomp® and Micromedex® for 571 and 438 pairs, respectively, and both drug databases provided information on 382 DDI pairs. There was no correlation between the severity and evidence level of DDIs provided in the two databases; Spearman's correlation coefficient for Lexicomp® and Micromedex® was -0.009 (p=0.861) and -0.064 (p=0.209), respectively. Conclusion: To judge the significance of DDIs, healthcare providers should consider that the information on DDIs may be different between drug information databases; hence, clinical factors must be considered concurrently.
