The purpose of this study was to identify the factor Disaster Nursing Core Competencies in nursing college students. A descriptive correlation study design was used. The subjects were 144 university students of a university located in D and K city. The study used a Educational Needs on Disaster Nursing, Disaster Nursing Knowledge, Disaster Preparedness, Self-efficacy and Disaster Nursing Core Competencies. Data were collected from February 25 to March 15, 2019 and analyzed with t-test, pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple response analysis, stepwise multiple regression by using SPSS IBM 22.0 Program. The findings are follows: First, among the disaster nursing education methods, simulation based practice were the highest. Second, Disaster Nursing Core Competencies was positively correlated with Disaster Preparedness, self-efficacy and Disaster Knowledge. Third, the influencing factors in Disaster Nursing Core Competencies were Grade(β=0.343), Self-efficacy(β=0.329), Disaster Preparedness(β=0.282), Experience of practice in ER(β=0.159), adjusted R²=.532. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Customized Disaster Program that can improve the Disaster Nursing Core Competencies of nursing college students based on the factors affecting the Disaster Nursing Core Competencies and Educational needs.

Higher educational institutions face an increasing demand for developing a renewed set of competencies of college students who will live in the knowledge-based society. However, relatively little is known about what constitutes the core competencies that college students need to develop and how we can improve them. Nine categories of core competencies required for college graduates were drawn from the previous research and examples of core competencies developed by other institutions. They are analytic thinking skills, problem-solving skills, communicating skills, collaborative working skills, and etc. A reading guidance course for strengthening core competencies, developed based on the teaching and learning methods was adapted to students of LIS for one semester. Implications of these and related findings are discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to set up a Nursing Core Competencies required for staff nurses and to set up Objectives for Nursing Clinical Education based on the Nursing Core Competencies. The objectives in this study are to be achieved ultimately through clinical practice because it is a common avenue of work and the basic objective regardless of the education system and curriculum. Method: A nursing Core Competencies were established by literature review and verified by 15 experts. Nursing Clinical Education Objectives were established by literature review and analysis, and a survey for validity using a five point Likert scale was given to 257 nursing professors, 503 head-nurses, 509 staff nurses who had less than 3 years clinical experience in 34 general hospitals and 738 senior student nurses from 81 nursing colleges. Result: Nine nursing core competencies were set up. In addition 39 Objectives for each of the nursing clinical core competencies were set up. Conclusion: In conclusion, this study will contribute to professional nursing education to provide comprehensive nursing care by applying knowledge to nursing practice to achieve the Nursing Pore Competency as a professional nurse.

The purpose of this study is to identify the core competencies of graduate students at A research university in the context of graduate education in science and engineering, and to develop and validate a diagnostic tool to measure them. To achieve the research objectives, first, 6 factors and 18 sub-competencies of core competencies were derived based on a review of domestic and foreign studies, cases of excellent research-centered overseas universities, and interviews with members of A University. Second, a theoretical model was constructed by deriving behavioral indicators based on the core competencies and sub-competencies, and a preliminary survey was conducted on 188 graduate students of University A to verify the statistical validity of the theoretical model. Results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, the core competencies of graduate students at A research university consisted of 6 factors, 16 sub-competencies, and 77 items. Specifically, it included "Independent research capability(13 items)", "Social Entrepreneurship(10 items)", "Academic agility(15 items)", "Ingenious Challenges(15 items)", "Collegial Collaboration(9 items)", and "Mueunjae leadership(15 items)". This study contributes to the development of theories related to core competencies of graduate students in science and engineering, and has practical significance as a basis for a data-driven competency-based graduate education system.

Objectives: This study derived the core competencies for developing a curriculum for advanced practice dental hygienists in the elderly. Methods: A Delphi survey was conducted thrice times with 12 subjects engaged in dental hygiene-related activities for the elderly. Results: The item with the highest average in each domain was 'understanding the elderly (mean=5.00)' in basic qualities and attitude competency, 'understanding the oral health characteristics of the elderly (mean=5.00)' in the job competency, and 'development and evaluation of oral health programs for the elderly (mean=4.75)' in job support competency. Conclusions: The core competencies of dental hygienists specializing in the elderly are divided into 3 'basic qualifications and attitude competencies', 'job competencies', and 'job support competencies' 27 sub-competencies are presented.

The purpose of this study is to identify disciplinary professors' core competencies in Div. Military Science student. To best accomplish the study, I select core competencies in the precedent study about Disciplinary Professors' Core Competencies studies. The 5 factors of core competencies are as follow ; teaching core competency, evaluation core competency, guidance core competency, class management core competency, speciality development core competency. Through this study I developed disciplinary process model. This model is conducted to fit the structural relationship among the disciplinary professors' core competencies and students' life satisfaction and aspiration for military occupation. But this study has some restriction, so we should study actual proof the more.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop the nursing management core task and competency matrix for hospital unit managers. The perceived level of importance and performance of identified core competencies by unit managers were also investigated. Methods: Literature review and expert survey identified nursing management core task and competencies. Subsequently, the core task and competency matrix was developed and validated by expert panel. A survey of 196 nurse managers from 3 cities identified perceived importance and performance of core competiences. Results: Thirty-eight nursing management core task and thirty-seven nursing management core competencies were identified comprising five categories; Clinical practice knowledge, Evidence-based practice, Employee development, Strategic planning and Initiative. Based on the core task and competencies, the task and competency matrix for unit managers was developed. In the analysis of importance and performance of core competencies, the mean score of importance ($3.50{\pm}0.30$) was higher than the mean score of performance ($3.03{\pm}0.34$). Conclusion: The development of core task and competencies for unit managers in hospitals provides a guide for the development and evaluation of programs designed to increase competence of unit managers.

The purpose of this study was getting the information for successful application to the national curriculum and students' core competencies enhancement, through investigation about competencies discussed in 2015 revised national curriculum development process and analysis about perception of 150 elementary school teachers in study. The results were as follows : Communication skill is considered to be the most important. Thinking ability what has been important traditionally is the middle of the rankings. Elementary school teachers think that a competency is specific to a subject. From this point of view, Creative/Scientific Problem-Solving Ability is the most important in science. They think that the enhancing of the ability of inquiry performance is highlighted in current science class. On elementary school teachers' awareness, inquiry model is the most effective in enhancing of scientific thinking and the ability of inquiry performance. And STS instruction model is in the other. PBL learning model and experimental inquiry model is the most effective in enhancing a competency has the highest feasibility like scientific thinking or the ability of inquiry performance.

As the construction management(CM) market has grown, so has the CM competition in the market place. Consequently, competent construction managers become a core part of CM firms' competitiveness. The objective of the study is to identify and discuss core competencies of construction mangers based on literature survey, Delphi Method and AHP. Among various competencies required for construction managers, skills for problem solving, trust and negotiation skills were identified as the crux of construction managers' competencies. A better understanding of construction managers' core competencies is very critical in terms of CM firms' training of construction managers and continuos self-improvement for construction managers.

Objectives: This study evaluated the perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies (PI-ICCP) scale. Methods: Data were collected from 353 college students of health. Content validity was tested using the content validity index for individual items(I-CVI) and for scale(S-CVI). Criterion validity was tested using the professional competencies scale developed by Choi. Reliability was evaluated using Cronbach's coefficient alpha. The goodness-of-fit of the construct validity was determined through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: The I-CVI of each item was .8 or higher for all items, and the S-CVI was .98. The reliability of the PI-IPCC was Cronbach's α=.98. The goodness-of-fit indices of the model were χ2=1811.54(p<.001), the comparative fit index (CFI)=.91, and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA)=.08, which satisfied the criteria. Conclusions: The construct and criterion-related validity of the perception for PI-ICCP scale were a good fit, so the instrument is appropriate for measuring perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies. Further research will be required using this instrument to investigate perception of interprofessional core competencies of health professionals.
