  • In this paper we have designed a monitoring and controlling system, which rainwater harvests. Atmega 128 microprocessor family is used for the monitoring and controlling of the system. Through the Internet, the rainwater bank system can be monitored and controlled by using JAVA program. Monitoring and controlling of the system are also possible without Internet connection.

  • It is a superordinate concept to a network control system which optimally distributes the battery power to overall length parts through the linkage control drive and absorbs/integrates network diagnostics and overlapped functions with overall length control systems. This study is to develop a system that maximize the battery power and motor effectiveness by controlling motor battery controlling module with common MCU Integration linkage controlling system, and to develop S/W and H/W that can be controlled by linked with each controlling module in CAN method through using Autosar's standardized software.

  • This paper proposes a multiple switch mode power supply (SMPS) system based on the wireless network which controls variable load. The system enables power supply of up to 600W using 200W SMPS as a unit module and provides a controlling function of output power based on variable load and a monitoring function based on wireless network. The controlling function for output power measures the variation of output power and facilitates efficient power supply by controlling output power based on the measured variation value. The monitoring function guarantees a stable power supply by observing the multiple SMPS system in real time via wireless network. The performance of the proposed system was examined by various experiments. In addition, it was verified through standardized test of Korea Testing Certification. The results were given and discussed.

  • In this paper, we have designed the management System to monitor and control computers running on MS Windows in the PC room using SNMP. The proposed system has controlling capability to control the status of PC and monitoring functions to have real-time monitoring and process control. In the controlling system, it supports update and setting of the configuration information of PC and backup/restore the information when it happens to be some faults. In the monitoring system, it has monitoring the PC of students, controlling the process on PC, and invoking a new job. This system contributes to enhance the effectiveness of teacher's educational activities in PC room by controlling and monitoring the program running on student's computer.

  • This paper describes the standardization of remote monitoring and controlling system for nursery electrical facilities. The proposed system have three operating modes of motoring, controlling, and fault-notifying. In fault-notifying mode, the local unit is designed to send messages on failure of the electrical facilities to the central computer, mobile phone, and pager. Also, the local unit is consisted of 24-input and 8-output port needed for monitoring and controlling the facilities. With the use of this standardized system, we could expect the effective management in every phase of nursery facilities.

  • This paper is for the on-line monitoring and controlling system in which remote central processor execute commands based on data transmitted via radio or cable captured from the industrial or marine environments. By executing the appropriate system commands, many mechanical parts in industrial environments and natural factors such as temperature and humidity are to be under control in the way of normal system condition. In this research, we control the temperature of a hydrochloric acid tank to be within the predetermined range by executing temperature controlling commands issued by remote central computer which decides the appropriate action for the total system based on the received sensor data transmitted via radio and cable media. This type of monitoring and controlling system has the various applications such as the disaster prevention system, ubiquitous embedded system, alarm system, and the USN systems.

  • Product of technology developed in this study is an external interface for controlling the equipment of pendant key remote control system circuit board, and it is used in the electronic component test equipment system. Main control system module is in the role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer engineers to control the inspection equipment. The pentane-key interface module to its role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer for the engineer to control the inspection equipment. Development of the control system can be expected in the configuration of a system for efficient and accurate inspection of high-precision parts.

  • EEG is an electrical signal, which occurs during information processing in the brain. These EEG signals have been used clinically, but nowadays we are mainly studying Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) such as interfacing with a computer through the EEG, controlling the machine through the EEG. The ultimate purpose of BCI study is specifying the EEG at various mental states so as to control the computer and machine. This research makes the controlling system of directions with the artifact that are generated from the subject's will, for the purpose of controlling the machine correctly and reliably. We made the system like this. First, we select the particular artifact among the EEG mixed with artifact, then, recognize and classify the signals' pattern, then, change the signals to general signals that can be used by the controlling system of directions.

  • Computer system is widely used for controlling systems such as nuclear power plant, train speed control and air plane control. The failure of computerized controlling system can be arrived to catastrophic accident, so the safety ensuring of computerized controlling system is very important. This paper shows how to improve and ensure the safety of computerized systems. In this paper, we show how to identify, analyze hazards of the computerized system and to demonstrate risk of the system. Finally, we show how to adopt safety techniques for improving safety of the target system.

  • A realization for FF-PID(Feed-Forward PID) controlling system with backward propagation algorithm and image pattern recognition is presented in this paper. The pattern recognition used backward propagation of nervous network is teaming. FF-PID is enhanced the response characteristic of moving image by using the controlling value which is output error for the target value of nervous system. In conclusion of experiment, the system is shown that the response is worked as 2.7sec that is enhanced round 15% in comparison with general difference image algorithm. The system is able to control a moving object with effect.
