네덜란드 RE;USE 디자인의 창발성과 변증적 사유방식 (The Emergent Properties and Dialectic way of thinking of the Dutch RE;USE Design)

  • This is a study on the application of a dialectic way of thinking in terms of design methods, and has contents about the formation of new visual and the ways of process that are triggered by cognitive introspection. A ccordingly, the study has its purposes in interpretation and recommendation of new methodological systems around dialectic principles and ways of thinking on the works of the Dutch Architecture Exhibition carried out in Korea in 2013, with the theme of "Reuse" among the aspects expanding since the reflexive modernization. Firstly, the basic features of Dutch designs were connected to dialectic ways of thinking. After studying the basic concepts of dialectics from Greek philosophies to Kant, Hegel, Marx and Benjamin, the aspects of applying them onto creative works such as art, architecture and design were methodologically systematized. Through this process, it was confirmed that the existing concepts are newly rearranged rationally, logically and scientifically based on dialectic ways of thinking rather than subjectively or emotionally. From the study of the 12 art works, it was confirmed that the value of use and potential obstacles have been used as a design solution. Also, the process which is juxtaposed with the result by itself has been expressed and causes the alienation effect. Therefore, such dialectic ways of thinking was organized into a procedural flow of contradictory recognition on situations, drive due to negativity, mutual penetration, mutual transformation, abstraction, verbalizing and creation of new concepts, and it was confirmed that such finding was valid in securing creative possibilities as 'New Uses' rather than 'Re-uses'.

게임의 영화화 각색방법에 대한 고찰 : 앵그리버드를 중심으로 (The Analysis on Adaption Method from Game to Film : Case on Angry Bird)

  • 2016년 7000만 달러를 투자해 스마트폰 기반 캐주얼 게임을 각색한 3D 애니메이션 영화 <앵그리버드>가 상영된 후 전 세계적으로 누적 흥행 수입 5.14억 달러를 초과하는 등 큰 성공을 이루었다. 게임을 각색한 영화에서 입소문과 흥행 성적이 모두 좋았던 성공 사례는 매우 드물다. 구체적인 이야기 줄거리, 캐릭터 그리고 세계관이 없는 스마트폰 기반 캐쥬얼 게임을 어떻게 대중들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받는 상업 영화로 각색할 수 있었는지가 본 연구 목적이다. 본 연구는 먼저 스마트폰 기반 캐쥬얼 게임 <앵그리 버드>와 대형 온라인 게임 <와우>에 대해 비교를 진행하여 각색함에 있어서 장단점을 비교하고자 한다. 다음 <앵그리 버드>의 게임과 영화를 비교하여 두 매체 속에 존재하는 핵심요인 간 차이를 분석하고 설문조사를 통한 관객 평가 결과를 참조하여 가장 관객들의 인정을 받는 영화의 요소와 이런 종류의 영화에 대한 관객의 태도는 어떠한지를 알아보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 원격 조정 매니퓰레이터에 적용할 수 있는 보급형 서비스 로봇 암을 개발하였다. 생체 모방학을 활용하여 새로운 형태의 로봇 손에 대한 개념을 도출하였다. 손가락과 손목은 인체 팔의 근골격에 분석을 통하여 상박에 설치된 와이어와 액추에이터에 의하여 구동된다. DC 모터에 의해 구동되는 스크류-너트 매커니즘을 통하여 구동 케이블에 높은 장력을 발생시킨다. 파지력의 쉬운 제어를 위하여 스크류-너트 메커니즘에 조합 스프링을 적용하였다. 첫 번째 설계에서 손가락 제어 문제, 손가락과 손목 운동의 간섭 문제가 발견되었다. 트리즈의 모순 분석을 통하여 이러한 문제에 대한 해결안을 도출하였다. 두 번째 설계에 대하여 다양한 형태와 무게의 물체에 관하여 파지와 동작 테스트를 시행하였다.

  • 품질 및 정보화경영체제의 통합형태 내지 통합수준이 이 시스템의 통합효과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 통합 목표와 통합효과를 통합수준 내지 추진과정의 요인별로 점검하고, 통합 형태를 그 구조적 특성에 따라 분류하여 시스템 통합의 효율성과 효과성에 이들 통합형태가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 연구하여 양 시스템을 도입 운영하는 조직의 경영성과제고를 위한 시스템 통합 방안을 제시함에 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구결과 두 경영시스템의 통합에 고려하게 되는 통합형태와 각 통합형태별로 도달하고 있는 통합수준 그리고 통합추진단계에 따라 궁극적으로 기대하는 통합효과가 대체적으로 유의한 차이를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 앞으로 IMS와 QMS의 통합을 계획하거나 통합과정 중에 있는 기업은 이론적 고찰과 현장조사에서 입증된 사실을 감안하여 규격중심의 통합보다는 프로세스중심의 통합형태를 또한 완벽한 통합수준의 구축에 따른 유연성과 비용효율성의 부정적 측면을 참작하여 부족한 통합수준 가운데서 자사의 실정에 적합한 통합수준을 선정하여야 할 것이다.

Theoretical construction of solar wind proton temperature anisotropy versus beta inverse correlation

  • In situ observations from the Wind spacecraft that statistically analyzed the solar wind proton at 1 AU has indicated that the measured proton temperature anisotropies seems to be regulated by the oblique instabilities (the mirror and oblique firehose). This result is in contradiction with the prediction of linear kinetic theory that the ion-cyclotron (for ${\beta}_{\parallel}$ < 2) and parallel firehose (for ${\beta}_{\parallel}$ <10) would dominate over the oblique instabilities. Various kinds of physical mechanisms have been suggested to explain this disagreement between the observations and linear theory. All of the suggestions consider the solar wind as a unoform magnetized plasma. However the real space environment is replete with the intermediate spatio-temporal scale variations associated with various physical quantities, such as the magnetic field intensity and the solar wind density. In this paper we present that the pervasive intermediate-scale temporal variation of the local magnetic field intensity can lead to the modification of the proton temperature anisotropy versus beta inverse correlation for temperature-anisotropy-driven instabilities. By means of quasilinear kinetic theory involving such temporal variation, we construct the simulated solar wind proton data distribution associated the magnetic fluctuations in (${\beta}_{\parallel}$, $T_{\perp}/T_{\parallel}$) space. It is shown that the theoretically simulated proton distribution and a general trend of the enhanced fluctuations bounded by the oblique instabilities are consistent with in situ observations. Furthermore, the measure magnetic compressibility can be accounted for by the magnetic spectral signatures of the unstable modes.

ON THE ASSEMBLY HISTORY OF STELLAR COMPONENTS IN MASSIVE GALAXIES

  • Matusoka & Kawara (2010) showed that the number density of the most massive galaxies (log $M/M_{\odot}=11.5-12.0$) increases faster than that of the next massive group (log $M/M_{\odot}=11.0-11.5$) during 0 < z < 1. This appears to be in contradiction to another important empirical concept of "downsizing". We attempt to understand the two observational findings in the context of the hierarchical merger paradigm using semi-analytic techniques. Our models closely reproduce the result of Matusoka & Kawara (2010). Downsizing can also be understood as larger galaxies have on average smaller assembly ages but larger stellar ages. Our fiducial models further reveal the details on the history of stellar mass growth of massive galaxies. The most massive galaxies (log $M/M_{\odot}=11.5-12.0$ at z=0), which are mostly brightest cluster galaxies, obtain roughly 70% of their stellar components via merger accretion. The role of merger accretion monotonically declines with galaxy mass: 45% for log $M/M_{\odot}=11.0-11.5$ and 20% for log $M/M_{\odot}=10.5-11.0$ at z = 0. The specific accreted stellar mass rates via galaxy mergers decline very slowly during the whole redshift range, while the specific star formation rates sharply decrease with time. In the case of the most massive galaxies, merger accretion becomes the most important channel for the stellar mass growth at z ~ 2. On the other hand, in-situ star formation is always the dominant channel in the $L_*$ galaxies.

지역사회 기반 참여연구 방법론 (The Methodology of Community-Based Participatory Research)

  • Objectives: Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) is a kind of health promotion approach to increase social cohesion and sense of community, which has built the collaborated partnership in all phases. This has the co-ownership of research objectives and knowledges produced by residents, and the outcome was taken to enhance community empowerment. This study performed to embody CBPR, which had regulated collective health status approached by social epidemiology. Methods: Reference review had been exercised focused on CBPR books and papers published since 1990. Our interests were aimed at its paradigm and methodological issues. Particularly, we problematized its feasibility in the social and behavioral foundations of pubic health. Results: According to the review, CBPR shared critical understanding and decision-making related to their community development including health status. Therefore, it was strength-based approach in spite of scientific dichotomy. CBPR created social cohesion and community empowerment with all participants, because it sublated contradiction between subjectivism and objectivism. Conclusions: The success of CBPR needs what we so called trust, democracy, collaboration, devotion, and consensus of equity. Despite these factors, CBPR may be a methodological transition to prepare some intervention of health inequality. This is because it does emphasize a mixture of theory and praxis to manage vulnerable people in community.

현대 패션 사진에 표현된 죽음의 재현(再現) - 페이스북의 패션 사진을 중심으로 - (Death Representation in Contemporary Fashion Photography - The Focus on Facebook Fashion Photography -)

  • This study analyzed 'The representation of death' as expressed in the fashion photography posted on Facebook. Currently, there is a growing interest in 'Well-dying'. Also contemporary art and fashion is a trend that expressed what about death more than life. And today, Facebook is one of the current worldwide as a powerful communication. Death representation in contemporary fashion photography, as expressed in its first characteristic is 'Vanitas', and the main material was a skull. The shape of a skeleton of the symbol of death. Vanitas of inner meaning is vain, a mortal life's futility and death for the paradoxical emotion. The second characteristic is 'Phantom of the ruins'. This is like the darkness of death, and the shape represented in that space. And the death representation is depressed, gloomy atmosphere, dead-man and warm-less. Inner meaning is curiosity about the ghosts and the decadence romantic about the afterlife. The last characteristic is 'Grotesque'. This characteristic is the destruction of the body, fear of sadistic, and inhuman shape. This is parable with death that pain and fear of death, dark fantasy, the appearance of a contradiction modern society and cut off humanity. Inner meaning is the dark fear of death and the anger of wrong of the present society. At present, we have to reproduce the death, and what we want is eventually no one can escape 'Attention to death'. In addition, by expressing the solidarity between death and life is to want to get a consolation for the anxiety and afraid reality.

The Data Processing Method for Small Samples and Multi-variates Series in GPS Deformation Monitoring

  • Time series analysis is a frequently effective method of constructing model and prediction in data processing of deformation monitoring. The monitoring data sample must to be as more as possible and time intervals are equal roughly so as to construct time series model accurately and achieve reliable prediction. But in the project practice of GPS deformation monitoring, the monitoring data sample can't be obtained too much and time intervals are not equal because of being restricted by all kinds of factors, and it contains many variates in the deformation model moreover. It is very important to study the data processing method for small samples and multi-variates time series in GPS deformation monitoring. A new method of establishing small samples and multi-variates deformation model and prediction model are put forward so as to resolve contradiction of small samples and multi-variates encountered in constructing deformation model and improve formerly data processing method of deformation monitoring. Based on the system theory, a deformation body is regarded as a whole organism; a time-dependence linear system model and a time-dependence bilinear system model are established. The dynamic parameters estimation is derived by means of prediction fit and least information distribution criteria. The final example demonstrates the validity and practice of this method.

효과적인 발명원리 교수법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effective Teaching Method of Inventive Principles)

  • 창의적 문제해결 이론인 트리즈는 기계나 전기, 전자와 같은 전통적인 공학 분야뿐만 아니라 IT 분야에서도 널리 활용되어 좋은 성과를 거두고 있기 때문에, 최근 많은 대학들이 트리즈를 정규 교과목으로 개설하고 있다. 특히 트리즈의 40가지 발명원리는 초보자도 비교적 쉽게 배울 수 있는 창의적 발상 도구이자 매우 강력한 문제해결 도구이지만, 실제 문제 해결에 제대로 활용하는 것은 생각처럼 쉬운 것이 아니다. 발명원리가 창의적 문제해결을 위한 강력한 도구가 되기 위해서는 발명원리에 대한 흥미 유발을 통해서 학습자가 반복해서 활용해 보도록 교육하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 일상에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 명함들 속에 숨어있는 다양한 발명원리를 소개하고, 발명원리를 활용한 명함 제작을 통해서 발명원리에 대한 흥미를 유발하도록 교육하는 방법에 대해 제안하였다.
