센서네트워크(Sensor Network)기반의 웹 기반 기술과 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술의 급속한 발전으로 인해, 일반인은 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경에서 다양한 형태의 데이터와 정보를 생산, 제공 및 공유할 수 있게 되었다. 공간정보분야에서는 지오 센서네트워크(Geosensor Network)와 공간 비공간 데이터 융합처리기술이 결합된 GIS(Geographic Information System)를 이용하여 공간정보 서비스를 제공하는 연구가 진행 중이다. 하지만, 방대한 양을 가지는 웹 데이터와 센서데이터를 GIS 데이터와 연계하여, 사용자 맞춤형 정보를 생성하기 위해서는 상황인지모델 기반의 정보제공이 필요하다. 상황인지 서비스는 사용자의 개입을 최소화하면서, 사용자 상황에 맞는 적절한 정보를 제공하는 것을 의미한다. 이를 위해 상황인지모델은 센서네트워크와 모바일 기기에서 취득된 데이터들의 특성과 연관성을 모델링하고, 사용자의 위치와 관심지역의 상황에 맞는 정보를 제공한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상황인지모델 기반의 GIS 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 대기환경 데이터와 모바일 데이터를 취득하고 분석된 결과를 대기환경정책에 반영함으로써, 시민의 환경의식을 높이고 공동참여를 활성화하도록 설계되었다.

인공지능 스피커 시장은 디스플레이 탑재라는 새로운 흐름 속에 놓여 있다. 이 연구는 디스플레이 유무에 따른 인공지능 스피커 사용 경험의 차이를 사용 맥락에 따라 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 아마존 에코 쇼(Echo Show)와 에코 플러스(Echo Plus)의 온라인 리뷰 텍스트가 어떠한 구조적 차이를 보이며 차별화된 UX 이슈들로 구성되어 있는지 의미연결망 분석을 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 사용자 경험의 물리적 맥락과 사회적 맥락에 따른 에고 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 주요 이슈를 도출하였다. 분석 결과 디스플레이 탑재에 따라 사용자의 기대격차가 발생하고 이로 인해 부정적 경험이 유도되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 멀티모달 인터페이스는 침실보다 부엌에서 활용도가 높으며, 가족 구성원 간의 커뮤니케이션 활성화에 기여할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 발견을 바탕으로 향후 국내에서도 출시될 디스플레이형 스피커가 고려해야 할 사용자 경험 전략을 제안한다.

This paper addresses the "PC vs. mainframe" issue by systematically evaluating the usefulness of PCs in an educational context. For this purpose the satisfaction of 47 undergraduate students working with a software package that is available on both PCs and the mainframe was measured and analyzed. The results of the analysis of variance show no interaction effects between computing context and computing experience. Users were more satisfied with PC LINDO than with its mainframe counterpart. Also experienced users showed significantly higher satisfaction than inexperienced users in this study.his study.

In this paper we first introduce a Carleson inequality and study the generalized form of Carleson inequality in the context of spaces of homogeneous type. The previous inequality is known to play important roles in harmonic analysis.

Previous studies of the Korean wave have focused mainly on fan clubs by taking an ethnographic approach in the context of countries in Southeast Asia and, in a minor extension, Europe. This study fills the gap in the literature by providing a social network analysis of Tweets in the context of Mexico. We used the Twitter API in order to collect Twitter comments with the hashtag #kpop from March to August 2012, analyzing them with a set of webometric methodologies. The results indicate that #kpop power Twitterians in Mexico were more likely to be related to the public television broadcast. The sent Tweets were usually related to their programs and promotion for Kpop artists. These Tweets tended to be positive, and according to URLs, not only Kpop but also Korean dramas had considerable influence on the Korean wave in Mexico.

The growth-share matrix is a portfolio planning tool developed by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to assist competitive positioning in the international market including those in the construction industry. This matrix is helpful in balancing the firm's cash-flow, and it can suggest strategic directions for each business unit. However, its effectiveness and applicability have long been debated in the academic field due to the complex and unique industrial context of construction. To solve the dispute, this research clarifies the applicability of theories underlying the growth-share matrix to the construction industry. Empirical research based on actual financial data of Korean construction firms is adopted for the statistical analysis including one-way analysis of variance and correlation analysis. The results of this research show that empirical findings on the relationship between performance variables. In this context, this research can provide important insights on the concept of portfolio management in the construction industry.

Through the utilization of a contrastive analysis of English consonantal phonemes and their Russian counterparts, the present study investigates the challenges faced by Russian EFL learners in pronouncing English consonantal phonemes, with a particular focus on phoneme substitution errors as a principal source of erroneous pronunciation. We comprehensively explore the characteristics of both the English and Russian consonant systems, highlighting the differences between them. Based on this examination, the study aims to present the detailed articulatory characteristics and phonetic variations of Russian speakers' common mispronunciations or improper substitutes of English consonants, rather than focusing on shared ones between the two languages. Furthermore, it seeks to provide strategies for error correction and effective pedagogical strategies to address specific phonemic challenges and enhance accuracy. Grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the objectives and advantages of comparative analysis within the context of phonemic awareness, the study emphasizes the significant importance of pronunciation instruction. It points out that this area still appears somewhat overlooked in specific EFL teaching situations within the context of English language education.

The purpose of this study was to examine the connection among inquiry activities related to 'Metabolism' presented in life science textbooks developed according to the national common basic curriculum. To perform this, the type, process and context of inquiry activities of life science textbooks were analyzed. The number of inquiry activities is gradually increased from elementary to secondary school. As result of analysis, types, processes and skills, and context of inquiry were not balanced according to textbooks and school levels. It is suggested that the framework of evaluating inquiry activities based on curriculum objectives be provided when developing science textbooks. It also implies that teachers need to reconstruct inquiry contents and activities suitable to school situations when they teach in the real fields of education.

Multi-criteria ABC inventory classification is one of the most widely employed techniques for efficient inventory control, and it considers more than one criterion for categorizing inventory items into groups of different importance. Recently, Ramanathan (2006) proposed a weighted linear optimization (WLO) model for the problem of multi-criteria ABC inventory classification. The WLO model generates a set of criteria weights for each item and assigns a normalized score to each item for ABC analysis. Although the WLO model is considered to have many advantages, it has a limitation that many items can share the same optimal efficiency score. This limitation can hinder a precise classification of inventory items. To overcome this deficiency, we propose a context-dependent DEA based method for multi-criteria ABC inventory classification problems. In the proposed model, items are first stratified into several efficiency levels, and then the relative attractiveness of each item is measured with respect to less efficient ones. Based on this attractiveness measure, items can be further discriminated in terms of their importance. By a comparative study between the proposed model and the WLO model, we argue that the proposed model can provide a more reasonable and accurate classification of inventory items.

본 연구에서는 고맥락 문화의 대표국인 일본과 저맥락 문화의 대표국인 미국에서 제작되고 있는 소녀 대상 만화의 표현 발달과 성립에 대한 비교분석을 하였다. 동서양 문화권에 따른 비교연구는 소녀만화 표현 매커니즘에 대한 정서적 차이를 구명할 수 있으며, 표현영역 확장에도 그 근거를 제시할 수 있다고 사료된다. 특히, 소녀만화의 표현 매커니즘의 가장 기본이 되는 '칸의 구조'를 살펴보는 것은 각 문화권에서의 소녀만화를 보다 자생력 있는 문화콘텐츠로 육성하기 위한 이론적 토대가 될 것으로 사료된다.
