Effects of N, P and K Application Rates on the Yield and the Available Constituents Contents in the Rhizoma of Rehmannia glutinosa (질소(窒素), 인산(燐酸), 가리(加里)의 시용량(施用量)이 지황(地黃)(Rehmannia glutinosa) 근경(根莖)의 수량(收量) 및 유효성분함량(有效成分含量)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • The purpose of this study was centered on investigation of the effects N, P and K application rates on root yield and their available content (catalpol, sugar, ash and extracts) of Ji-whang(Rehmannia glutinosa Lib. var. purpurea Makino), and the current application rates(N 20kg/10a, $P_2O_5\;30kg/10a$, $K_2O\;20kg/10a$) was studied for Ji-whang production in Eui-sung Gun southeastern part of Korea Peninsular. The yields of fresh and dried rhizomas were 941-1,494 kg/10a and 251-385 kg/10a, respectively. The rhizoma yield increased highly with increasing the application amount of nitrogen more than 10 kg/10a, but the effects of phosphorus and potassium were observed only at the application level of 40 kg/10a and 20 kg/10a, respectively. Catalpol contents in rhizoma increased at the plot of 20 kg/10a application of nitrogen, but the effects phosphorus and potassium on the catalpol contents were not observed. Catalpol content in dried root increased with increasing N application more than 10 kg/10a. Fructose contents increased at the plot of 20 kg/10a and more N application, and galactose contents decreased with K application. With increasing N application, ash contents decreased, but ethanol extract contents increased.

Influence Factors of Online-Based Interpersonal Relationships by Developmental Level -Centered on Social Networking Service Users - (대인관계 발달 단계에 따른 온라인기반 대인관계에 미치는 영향요인 - 소셜네트워크 서비스(SNS) 사용자를 중심으로 -)

  • In this paper, the correlation which is at work between affecting factors and interpersonal relationships' dimension depend on developmental level has been studied to search for clues about how to develop the online based interpersonal relationships -the fundamental aims of SNS related services- efficiently. People who'd ever entered into a relation through the 'online-based generated relationship' by SNS were divided into two groups on the development level. They were conducted a survey, and the results were derived using PLS statistics. As the result, 7 kinds of factors as social attraction, physical attraction, reciprocity, content quality, coexistence perception, information provision and similarity had an impact on the initial level of relationships, and 6 kinds of factors as social attraction, physical attraction, reciprocity, content quality, web appearance and coexistence perception had an impact on the developed level of relationships. This study could be utilized for the service design for facilitating interpersonal relationships efficiently by their level of development.

An Web-based Training of a short bamboo flute performance by using UCC (UCC를 활용한 단소 실기 원격 교육)

  • These days UCC(User-created content) is being made and shared increasingly in entertainment and sports area, but its life cycle seems to be very short and the cases that it is used for an education or a learning purposes are not common yet. In this study a new methodology is suggested for adapting a UCC to a distance education. A teacher upload the movie that he or she made for the distance education system, so the students can carry out the self-centered learning procedure. After that, the students send their own movie files to the teacher, and get a feedback from the teacher as a evaluation of the course. In this study a distance education system was established as a prototype, and a short bamboo flute class was chosen for this study from the specialty developmental education program of the elementary school. According to the result of the questionnaire the students thought that their performance skill was improved a lot and they were satisfied with the learning program and the method of evaluation. They also answered that their skills dealing with a camera, a camcorder and a computer got much better. Moreover, most of the students thought that the relationships with their friends and their parents got better also because they spent lots of time together making and watching the movie files for this education program.

Nurses' Perceptions toward Parent Participation in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit: A Content Analysis (소아중환자실 부모의 돌봄참여에 대한 간호사의 인식: 내용 분석 연구)

  • This paper describes nurses' perceptions toward parental participation in pediatric intensive care units (PICU). Qualitative data were collected from five nurses working at two PICUs in Seoul through individual in-depth interviews. The interviews were conducted from January to February 2016 and analyzed using traditional content analysis. Five categories were found for the parent participation in PICU: needs, attributes, benefits, barriers, and facilitating strategies for parent participation in PICU. Nurses acknowledged the necessities and benefits of parent participation, particularly in PICU, considering the parents' emotional burdens due to the critical health condition of their child as well as the limited visiting policy. The major barriers were a lack of knowledge and the skills of nurses to facilitate parent participation, nurses' heavy workloads, and lack of policies and guidelines supporting parent participation within the PICUs and hospitals. The participants indicated that organizational facilitating-strategies, such as education for nurses about meaning and skills of parent participation in PICU, raising awareness for nurses as well as parents, and ensuring professional staff dedicated to promoting parent participation, to be significant factors. Further study will be needed to develop nursing interventions to integrate parent participation in PICU care.

A Study on the Science-Gifted Camp at Educational Institutions for the Gifted (과학영재교육기관 캠프 운영 실태 분석)

  • In this study, using a questionnaire about camp programs, we surveyed 375 gifted education institutes, including 285 classes for the gifted, 70 institutes for the gifted at education offices, and 20 institutes for the gifted at universities. The survey questionnaire consists of questions relating to camp design, camp operation, and camp introspection. The questions relating to camp operation are subdivided into questions relating to content, process, product, and learning environment of the camp. In the analysis of camp design, experience-centered camps entailing visits to research institutes, science museums, and so on showed the highest ratio. The camps were generally carried out in summer vacation as two day/one night programs. The average score of camp content was 3.72, that of camp process was 3.78, that of camp product was 3.77, and that of camp environment was 3.58. In the analysis of camp introspection, the item 'a lack of information about diverse camp activities' showed the highest difficult thing. Integrating these results, we suggest that information about diverse camp activities should be developed and supplied and the camp environment strengthen the freedom of students to select camp activities.

Roles of the Specialized Education Recognized by Professional Panels (전문가 패널들이 인식하는 공업계고등학교의 전문교육 역할)

  • The purpose of this research is to clarify the elements of the function of the role of industrial high schools that its experts perceived. The content of this research is verify the function element required for the performance of the role of specialized education through content validity ratio(CVR). This research adopted the method of literature research and Delphi method, which is to collect and come to an agreement of the opinions of the 26 research panels. The first round is constructed by the semi-constructed questionnaire for the analysis of the opinions of the panels by inductive method. The second round is to categorize the result of the first one into 7 domains, and asked each category by Likert's 5 scale checklists, and statistically analyzed mean, medium, standard deviation, and quartile. The third round is to statistically analyze Mean, standard deviation, medium, and validity ratio(CVR) to reassure the opinions of the panels on the basis of the result of the first one. The categorized contents of the function required for the performance of the specialized education in this research is 'in-service visit and in-service training', 'licence acquiring education', 'employment counseling and job employment information', 'custom-made education connected with industry', 'career education' and 'enhancement of basic career competency'. The panels are divided into professors, teachers, professionals, and policy administrators, and they verified the validity rate of the function role and priority of emphasis. The result showed that the tendency of the education is converting from physical function-centered education to education of emotional attitude and competence of thought.

Components of geriatric nursing robot for Korean elderly : Based on the Focus Group Interview (포커스그룹을 통한 한국형 노인 간호 동물로봇 구성요소 확인)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the components of the geriatric robot pet, which might be helpful in caring for elderly people in the future. Focus group interview-with two focus groups-was performed between August 2014 and December 2014. Study participants were 13 geriatric experts from nursing, medicine, social work, and physical/occupational therapy. All interview data were transcribed, followed by debriefing and a qualitative content analysis. Three main themes emerged: acknowledgment of the usefulness of geriatric robot pet, establishment of elderly-centered appearance, and the functions of the robot pet to meet the needs of elders and family members. The robot pet was considered to be useful to elders who live alone since they can benefit from companionship and care provided by the robot pet. Geriatric robot pet needs to be manageable in size and weight, like a small dog. Moreover, a function that allows for interaction with and monitoring the elderly would be beneficial. The baseline elements that could guide further development of contents for the Korean geriatric robot pet were proposed from the results of FGI. Studies that validate these elements are necessary.

  • Virtual Advertising, which was introduced exclusively in sports casting programs in 2010, has enlarged its scope to terrestrial TV networks' sports news, entertainment shows, and dramas by 2015. Such advertising deregulation allows broadcasting business operators to insert more various virtual advertising methods into TV programs. Despite recent evaluation that virtual advertising was deregulated to a large degree, it is still inadequate compared to foreign state of affairs and has a lot of room for growth. Therefore, this research explores a literature review of virtual advertising in other countries and considers possible ways for virtual advertising in Korea to move forward. Additionally, through in-depth interview with seven virtual advertising experts, the research unravels positive and negative impacts of virtual advertising as well as its current state of affairs and struggles. This research also analyses the regulation of virtual advertising and finally explores possible revitalization strategies. The results of the research show that it is necessary to first improve the viewers' favorable concerning virtual advertising in order to revitalize virtual advertising. Revitalization will also require a clarification of regulation as well as a more unified and consistent content review and rating system. Furthermore, it is imperative that data of advertising impact will be accessible to advertisers and that advertising regulation will loosen. A Study on the Improvement of the Intention of Continuous Use of Enterprise Content Management System: Focusing on the Technology Acceptance Model (기업콘텐츠관리시스템의 지속적 이용의도 향상에 대한 연구: 기술수용모델을 중심으로)

  • As systematic information protection and management is recognized as an organization's core value, organizations are pursuing a shift from an individual-centered information management method to an organization-oriented information management method. The Enterprise content management system(ECMS) is a solution that supports document security and information sharing by insiders and is being introduced by many organizations due to recent technological developments. The purpose of this study is to present a method of improving performance through continuous use of the ECMS from the user's point of view and also suggest a method to improve the intention of continuous use through the expansion of the technology acceptance model. This study surveyed the employees of organizations that adopted the ECMS and verified the research hypothesis derived from previous studies through structural equation modeling. As a result of the analysis, usefulness, and ease of use affected on the intention of continuous use of the ECMS, and the knowledge sharing culture and the ECMS quality factors affected the technology acceptance model factors. The results of this study have academic and practical significance in terms of suggesting a plan to increase the usability of the ECMS from the user's point of view.

Development and Implementation of an Activity-Based AI Convergence Education Program for Elementary School Students (초등학생을 위한 활동중심 인공지능 융합 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • As the core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, AI is applied to various fields of society(e.g. politics, culture, industry, economy, etc.) and causes revolutionary changes. Students who will lead the age of AI need the ability to recognize social changes due to AI, acquire AI related knowledge and utilize AI in various situations. However, it is difficult for elementary school students to understand the concept and principles of AI. Therefore, this study developed an AI education program by selecting educational contents and methods appropriate to the level of elementary school students, and investigated the educational effects of the program by applying it to an actual educational setting. The content selected in this study is 'Social Awareness on AI', 'Understanding AI' and 'Utilizing AI', and eight content elements were selected. To help students learn AI easily and pleasantly at their level, activity-centered education, convergence of subjects and project-based learning were selected as instructional methods, and 20 sessions of education program were developed and implemented. In addition, the effects of the program were analyzed concerning 'perception on AI', 'convergent thinking', 'creative problem-solving' and 'collaboration capability', and positive changes were verified for all four aspects.
