  • In this study, the Interactive advertising in the Outdoor Interactive Digital Signage is taken as the research object, and the effect of the advertising in the Outdoor Interactive Digital Signage compared to the traditional advertising on consumer propensity is studied. Based on the research methods of literature data and case analysis, we first researched and analyzed the impact of the development of the Internet and artificial intelligence on Interactive Digital Signage advertising, combined with consumer trends and habits, according to the characteristics of Interactive Digital Signage advertising, and '199IT-Internet data Based on the data in the Resource Library, and using an example analysis method, three reasons for the impact of Interactive digital signage advertisements on consumer spending tendencies are proposed. The purpose is to provide reference for future companies to use Interactive digital signage for ad placement and help companies. Increase product sales to increase product value and customer trust in the brand.

A Study on the Actual Condition of Using Low-priced Cosmetics and on the Purchasing Behavior in Female Undergraduates (여대생들의 저가 화장품에 대한 사용실태 및 구매행동에 관한 연구)

  • Women starts to make up after high school graduation. They have low economic power. But they select cosmetics by themselves and have high demand. Therefore, they can be major customers of low-priced cosmetics and it can be regarded as independent cosmetics market. Thus, this study analyzes the purchasing propensity of lowpriced cosmetics in female undergraduates, who are main targets of low-priced cosmetics, satisfies the more customers desire through further segmenting the targets, suggests a continuous developmental plan for low-priced cosmetics through securing potential customers and segmenting market, and analyzes and typologizes female undergraduates lifestyle. The aim is to grasp the actual condition of using the low-priced cosmetics and the satisfaction with purchase, and to utilize it as basic date of inducing right consumption culture of female undergraduates. For this study, 305 reliable questionnaires are analyzed from the total 320 questionnaires and spss win 15.0 program was used. The results were as follows. About 90.1 percent of female undergraduates had experience using low-priced cosmetics and standard of priority selection was the quality of low-priced cosmetics. The main reason not to use was low price image.

Personalized Recommendation Considering Item Confidence in E-Commerce (온라인 쇼핑몰에서 상품 신뢰도를 고려한 개인화 추천)

  • As online shopping malls continue to grow in popularity, various chances of consumption are provided to customers. Customers decide the purchase by exploiting information provided by shopping malls such as the reviews of actual purchasing users, the detailed information of items, and so on. It is required to provide objective and reliable information because customers have to decide on their own whether the massive information is credible. In this paper, we propose a personalized recommendation method considering an item confidence to recommend reliable items. The proposed method determines user preferences based on various behaviors for personalized recommendation. We also propose an user preference measurement that considers time weights to apply the latest propensity to consume. Finally, we predict the preference score of items that have not been used or purchased before, and we recommend items that have highest scores in terms of both the predicted preference score and the item confidence score.

  • The Delivery Companies are Facing the Difficulty in their Delivery Services due to the Continuously Increasing Delivery Demand and Insufficient Supply of Delivery Persons to Satisfy the Demand. In Such Circumstances, the Delivery Companies have been Implementing the CSV Service by Introducing the Senior Parcel Delivery Service Creating Jobs for Senior Citizens. This Paper Investigated the Impact of the Quality of Senior Parcel Delivery Service, CSV Activities, and Individual Characteristic Factors of Consumers on the Customers' Confidence and Intention to Use the Delivery Service of Delivery Companies. For the Empirical Analysis, the Online/Offline Questionnaire Survey was Executed with the Individuals who used the Delivery Service and 216 Samples were Finally Selected for Empirical Analysis. In Accordance with the Analysis Results, the Speed, the Quality of Senior Parcel Delivery Service, had Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence, but Safety had no Significant Impact on it. Next, the Sincerity of CSV Activity by Senior Parcel Delivery Service Companies Showed the Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence. However, the Adequacy of CSV Activity had No Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence. Furthermore, the Consumption Value and Ethical Consumption Propensity, the Individual Features of Consumers, Demonstrated the Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence and also on the Customers' Confidence on and their Intention to use Senior Parcel Delivery Service Companies.

The Effect of Attributes of Selecting Korean Restaurants Pursuant to Food Service Consumption Propensity on Behavioral Intent (외식 소비성향에 따른 한식당 선택속성이 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is aimed to identify the relationship between Korean restaurant selection attributes and behavioral intention regarding foodservice consumption tendency. In order to achieve the purpose of research, frequency analysis, factor and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square test, variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 18.0. As a result of variance analysis, accessibility did not appear to have a significant difference in all clusters, food quality appeared to have a significant result (F=5.587, $p{\leq}.001$), employees' service appeared to have a significant difference (F=5.186, p<.01), and price discounts also showed a significant difference (F=4.921, p<.01). Therefore, the first hypothesis that the foodservice consumption tendency has a difference in the Korean restaurants selection attributes was partially selected. In order to verify the hypothesis that the Korean restaurants selection attributes affect behavioral intention, the sub-factors of the Korean restaurant selection attributes (accessibility of restaurants, food quality, employees' service, price discounts) were set as independent variables, and the behavioral intention of foodservice consumers was set as a dependent variable. As a result, the accessibility of restaurants (${\beta}=.092$) and price discounts (${\beta}=.299$) have a non-significant effect on behavioral intention. However, a significant result was shown in food quality (${\beta}=.379$, p<.001) and employees' service (${\beta}=.251$, p<.001). Thus, the hypothesis that the Korean restaurant selection attributes have a positive effect on behavioral intention was partially selected. Based on the results, foodservice managers need to build up strategic management to improve food quality with better ingredients, sanitation, adequate quantity, and consistent taste of food. In addition, they should provide better service with well-trained employees.

Preference and Loyalty Evaluation Using Sentiment Analysis for Promotion and Consumption Expansion of Paprika (감성분석을 이용한 파프리카 소비 확대와 홍보를 위한 선호도와 충성도 평가)

  • This study investigated the consumption tendency and awareness of paprika in order to expand and promote the consumption of Capsicum annuum L. The research investigated the relationship of preference and loyalty based on emotional response of paprika according to the semantic differential scale. The survey was conducted from January to February 2022 using a random sampling method targeting 155 general people, and a total of 142 questionnaires were analyzed excluding 13 wrong answers. The nine items on the awareness of paprika showed to be consisted of three factors such as 'Food taste', 'Usability', and 'Economics' by factor analysis. Regarding to the awareness of paprika the positive answer that 'I think paprika is good for health' among the nine questions was the highest at 92.3%. In the preference aspect of shape, blocky type had the highest preference for the shape of paprika, followed by mini and conical types in order of preference (p < 0.001). As for color preference, yellow paprika was the most preferred, followed by orange, red, and green, showing statistical significance. The emotional response of paprika by paprika image showed a statistically significant difference in the four colors. The words such as 'bright', 'clean', and 'spirited' appeared as representative emotional vocabulary for paprika. Multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the effect of paprika on the three factors of awareness, preference, and loyalty due to the quality of life. As a result, the higher the paprika preference and quality of life, and the higher the taste and availability factors, the higher the paprika awareness and loyalty. As the variable that has the most influence on the loyalty of the survey respondents, preference was found to have the highest explanatory power at 43%. From these results, it was judged as a very important factor in the survey on the shape and color preference of paprika. Therefore, the recent increase in awareness that paprika is good for health is thought to act as a positive factor in revitalizing the domestic market and increasing consumption of paprika in the future. Also, among the three types of paprika, the yellow blunt type showed the highest preference. Therefore, in order to produce and promote this type of paprika, it is also important to increase the cultivation to suit the purchasing propensity of consumers.

  • In accordance with the development of broadcasting, the style of using medium by users has been personalized in the propensity to consume. Recent advent of media convergence allowed users of medium to decide the received environment for their needs, thereby the position of users has become more important in the medium consumption. IPTV has the most advanced form of personalized information media. However, IPTV was made by media convergence, which has relation with a variety of interested parties, so there are a few troubles among them in the way of commercializing IPTV. As a matter of fact, although users play a leading role in the IPTV industry, there are still few discussions on the welfare of users. IPTV should be remained the characteristic of the medium of personalized information, and it should include the welfare of users in various fields of media convergence. That is Universal Service. It is necessary to be guaranteed the access right and the variety of contents in using IPTV. Moreover, in terms of telecommunication, IPTV should insure the reasonable fare system as a pay-services. On the basis of the analysis in local and international IPTV circumstances, in terms of content as a medium of personalized information, in terms of fares as a pay-services, and in terms of digital literacy as a new medium of digital access, policies for welfare of users are suggested.

Total Dietary Fiber and Mineral Absorption

  • The consumption of foods rich in TDF should not be associated with impaired mineral absorp-tion and long-term mineral status. In surveys of populations consuming high amounts of TDF e.g Third World populations and vegetarinas gross deficiencies in mineral nutrition have not been noted. If mineral status is low among these groups it is most likely caused by the inadequacy or imbalance of the diet and not by the TDF. The key word is interaction which should be inte-rpreted in dietary imbalances that produce nut-rient deficiencies. There are no strong data to support the concept that TDF inhibits mineral absorption through a binding chelation mechanism. Limited data sug-gest that positively charged groups on polymers such as chitosan and cholestyramine will decrease iron absorption in humans and animals. Because TDF does not contain positively charged groups future research should be directed at the possible role of protein consumed along with TDF and the combination of effects on mineral nutrition Phytic acid is acknowledged as a potent chela-tor of zinc. However its association with zinc and its propensity to lower Zn bioavaiability may enhance the absorption of other elements notably copper and iron. The importance of interactions among nutrients including TDF will gain addi-tional attention in the scientific community. Soluble and insoluble dietary fiber function di-fferently in the intestine. Insoluble fibers accele-rate movement through the intestine. Soluble die-tary fibers appear to regulated blood concentra-tions of glucose and cholesterol albeit by some unknown mechanism. In creased viscosity produ-ced by the SDF in the intestine may provide an explanation of how this class of polymers affects plasma glucose cholesterol and other nutrients. Employing a double-perfusion technique in the rat we demonstrated that viscosity produced by SDF will delay transfer of zinc into the circulatory system. This delayed absorption should not be interpreted as decreased utilization. A great deal of additional research is required to prove the importance of luminaly viscosity produced by SDF on slowing nutrient absorption or regulating bllod nutrient homeostasis. Increased intake of TDF in the total human diet appears desirable. A dietary intake of 35g/day should not be considered to have a negative effect on mineral absorption. It is important to educate people that an intake of more than 35g TDF/day may cause an imbalance in the diet that can adve-rsely affect mineral utilization. Acknowledgments. A Data Envelopment Analysis for Estimating the Efficiency of Korean Apparel Industry (한국 의류제조산업의 효율성에 관한 연구)

  • Despite the recovery of consumer expenditure and retailing in the Korean economy after 2001, the domestic apparel industry has been aggravated by negative growth in both productivity and production. The purpose of the stud? is to diagnose the develop competitive of the Korean apparel industry and derive implications for this after estimating the efficiency of the Korean apparel companies with Data Envelopment Analysis. Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) is a methodology based in non-parametric analysis and linear programming. It was developed for measuring the relative efficiency of a set of firms that use inputs to produce outputs. Data used fer input and output variables in the analysis are drawn from financial statement recorded by the Korean Financial Supervisory Service. The initial input data comprise the number fo the employees, fixed assets, general management and selling expenses, and cost of sales. The initial outputs are the operating profit and the gross margin. To summary the results, the efficiencies of the Korean apparel companies has increased yearly in spite of being overabundance of investment in Labour and Capital. According to correlation between input and output variables, the Korean apparel industry has been revamping gradually from labor intensive industries to the capital. The companies need to reduce costs in the results from the number of employees, fixed asset and cost of sales to transform into an efficiently enterprise. The companies owning or obtaining a brand had bitter establish an outsourcing strategic in production, while OEM corporations are called far setting up a manufactory in domestic or abroad. Although the paper is derived some implications with production efficiencies, the relation between apparel companies and brand power, consumption level of consumer, and social trend is remained on a limitation to the study. The next research necessitates a topic with Fashion industry or examining the correlation between brand value, social propensity and profit margin.

A Study on Consumer Preference and Purchase Intention to Smart Phone : Focused on Perceived Cost and Expected Benefit (스마트폰에 대한 소비자선호도 및 구매의도에 관한 연구 : 지각된 비용과 기대혜택을 중심으로)

  • This study examined the preference and the purchase intention of male and female from 20s through 405 to smart phones. This study verified the differences between the groups according to the socio-demographic factors, the usage pattern of mobile phone, and the perceived cost and the expected benefit. The analysis of the relative influence of those relevant factors was followed. The summaries of this study are as follows; First, the high level factors in purchasing smart phones were the perceived cost and the expected benefit pointed over 3.82. It means that they arc interested in smart phones highly, and if they can support to buy smart phones and situations can be permitted, they would like to buy them. Second, the differences between groups of the preference and the purchase intention were found according to the ages, the marital status and the education level. The results showed that those preference and the purchase intension were measured high at the group of the 20s-30s, the married, and the higher educational level of collage students. Third, expected benefit on smart phones was shown to be divided into two characterized factors through factor analysis. One was 'functional expected benefit' and the other was 'emotional expected benefit'. The functional and the emotional benefit on the using of smart phones were presented high level in group of over graduated students. Forth, the results of the stepwise multiple analysis, which was carried out to find out the influencing factors on the preference and the purchasing intension to smart phones, showed that the most effective factor was the functional expected benefit. The self-expressive propensity, and the education level were followed sequentially. The purchase intention was influenced by both of the functional and the emotional expected benefit. The result of this study shows that the level of the consumer's perceived cost(economic, psychological) and the expected benefit were measured high at the same time. That means that it is necessary to make the consumer information and communicating smoothly in order to lower the cost and enhance the benefit. In addition, This study has its meaning because it found out that functional expected benefit is a factor which has an influence on the Consumer Preference and Purchase Intention on Smart phone. If consumer's function requirements on smart phone are satisfied, it will be able to reduce the consumer problems and increase the consumer satisfaction. The result of this study would be applicable when Smart Phone is used as one of the auxiliary tools for smart consumption.
