Inter-category Map: Building Cognition Network of General Customers through Big Data Mining

  • Social media is considered a valuable platform for gathering and analyzing the collective and subconscious opinions of people in Internet and mobile environments, where they express, explicitly and implicitly, their daily preferences for brands and products. Extracting and tracking the various attitudes and concerns that people express through social media could enable us to categorize brands and decipher individuals' cognitive decision-making structure in their choice of brands. We investigate the cognitive network structure of consumers by building an inter-category map through the mining of big data. In so doing, we create an improved online recommendation model. Building on economic sociology theory, we suggest a framework for revealing collective preference by analyzing the patterns of brand names that users frequently mention in the online public sphere. We expect that our study will be useful for those conducting theoretical research on digital marketing strategies and doing practical work on branding strategies.

빅데이터를 통한 소비자의 의복관리방식 트렌드 분석 (Trend Analysis on Clothing Care System of Consumer from Big Data)

  • This study investigates consumer opinions of clothing care and provides fundamental data to decision-making for oncoming development of clothing care system. Textom, a web-matrix program, was used to analyze big data collected from Naver and Daum with a keyword of "clothing care" from March 2019 to February 2020. A total of 22, 187 texts were shown from the big data collection. Collected big data were analyzed using text-mining, network, and CONCOR analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, many keywords related to clothing care were shown from the result of frequency analysis such as style, Dryer, LG Electronics, Product, Customer, Clothing, and Styler. Consumers were well recognizing and having an interest in recent information related to the clothing care system. Second, various keywords such as product, function, brand, and performance, were linked to each other which were fundamentally related to the clothing care. The interest in products of the clothing care system were linked to product brands that were also naturally linked to consumer interest. Third, the keywords in the network showed similar attributes from the result of CONCOR analysis that were classified into 4 groups such as the characteristics of purchase, product, performance, and interest. Lastly, positive emotions including goodwill, interest, and joy on the clothing care system were strongly expressed from the result of the sentimental analysis.

Risk Perceptions and Risk-reduction Strategies in Internet Apparel Shopping

  • Although Internet retailing is becoming a viable channel for apparel retailing, consumers are still reluctant to use Internet for apparel purchasing because at their concerns at Internet security and the difficulties at virtual shopping in unfamiliar shopping environment. The purpose at this study is to examine the nature at perceived risk associated with Internet apparel shopping and risk-reduction strategies used by Internet apparel shoppers. The data were collected via an online survey by a online research company. A total at 4,254 Internet users participated in this survey. Among these Internet users, 1,146 respondents had previous shopping experience in Internet shopping. Within this group, 195 were Internet apparel information seekers, and 589 were Internet apparel purchasers. Descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, and t-test were used to analyze the data. The perceived risks and risk-reduction strategies used by Internet apparel no-interest shoppers, Internet apparel information seekers (browsers), moderate Internet apparel purchasers, heavy Internet apparel purchasers were examined and compared. The results indicated that these tour groups were significantly different in apparel related risk, performance risk, and privacy risk. Internet purchasers tend to perceive more apparel-related, performance, and privacy risks than others. The results also indicated that these tour groups were significantly different in their opinions of risk-reduction strategies.

  • Since digital economy and electronic commerce are evolving rapidly. further shaping process of e-commerce over the Internet would be highly influenced by the impact of electronic commerce technologies. That is. the widespread application of electronic commerce technologies is remoulding classic business patterns and enabling organizations to deal with new ways of doing business with global suppliers. distributors, marketers and consumers. The objective of this study is to examine the scheme of electronic commerce technologies. analyzing the current state and what is expected of them In the future. However, it is difficult to clarify relationships with the every electronic commerce technology and to analyze the progress of each of them. This study focuses on the major electronic commerce application technologies relevant to e-business. In order to analyze the current state of electronic commerce technologies and relationships among them. this study has tried to gather experts' opinions using the Delphi method. For each major EC technology, this study has analyzed the current level. the technology scheme. the applicability, the economic influences of the EC technologies and the urgency of the technology development. This study will play a role of catalyser for the study of electronic commerce technologies and will provide guideline for future studies electronic commerce and information communication technology(ICT) diffusion.

  • Recently some negative opinions on milk, for instance, 'don't drink, if you want to live long' 'people who drink milk life-long, they suffer from arteriosclerosis' or 'milk is not helpful to osteoporosis, because it's acid food' etc. are confusing the regular consumers who believe milk is one of the best food, although milk has been used for a longtime since it was proved as the most nutritionally perfect food by many scientific researchers and medical doctors. According to the contents of negative assertion, experiments were carried out mostly targeting western people who are eating bread with butter everyday and taking large quantity of meat & milk, probably 2~3 times more than asian people. So, the probability of suffering from many diseases like obesity, hypertension, arteriosclerosis etc. is naturally high. Therefore, comparison itself between westerner and asian is not reasonable because of quite different food culture and fat intake far less. Milk has been contributing to the health of human for hundreds years supplying many nutrients, and this kind of contribution will last as long as humankind exist on the earth. However, milk is good source of many functional components, there are some people who can not drink milk. As a nutritionist said, milk is a kind of food, the only problem is quantity, people who can not digest milk can choose another and who want to drink milk, drink it as much as they need. That's all.

A Factors Effecting Online Social Decisions in Online Consumer Behavior

  • Purpose: Consumers are affected by the purchase of a large number of opinions or support during the online purchasing process. This can be defined as the term of 'social decisions' on line. This paper seeks to explore the factors of influence on social decisions in on-line environment and to study in depth. Methodology: The purpose of this paper is to empirically examine the impact of factors on online social decisions. To verify the hypothesis of study, This study collected 256 from Seoul City, Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province through Survey. Results: According to the research results, First, eWOM information usefulness have a positive impact on online social decisions, Second, online network connectedness have a positive impact on online social decisions. Third, innovative product have a positive impact on online social decisions. and the lower the category of knowledge, the more inclined it is to make online social decisions. Finally, social decisions have a positive impact on purchasing decisions about product. It is most significant that academic research has advanced consumer behavior in response to recent changes in the consumption environment. It is meaningful that we have studied in depth the changing consumer decision process in online channel environment.

  • Quality of life today is being enhanced through technology and economic activities, but time for leisure has continued to shrink. In this modern society, a phenomenon is appearing in which people are trying to return to their pure and childlike worlds to relieve themselves from the pressures of stress, anxiety, and feelings of crisis in their repetitive and boring daily lives. Along with the struggle for existence that they feel, this shows how modern people hold on to nostalgic elements experienced in their childhood, and have a tendency to want to express those experiences through consumer activities. As positive opinions stating that such consumer activities not only relieve stress, but also help psychological stability are emerging, consumer trends for the development of fashion products which reflect 'Kidult' emotions are becoming increasingly popular. Not only that, with interior products, the need for the development of differentiated designs which are focused on consumers and which reflect consumer demands is being magnified as they are very important as living designs within the consumption environments of modern people. As such, the goal of this study is to develop textile pattern designs for kidult interior products for adults.

사이니지 시장유형화를 위한 해석적 연구 : Q 방법론 적용 (Analytical Study for Typology of Signage Market : by applying Q methodology)

  • 사이니지에 대한 시장유형을 정의하는 것은 공급자와 소비자입장에서 중요한 관심사항이다. 초기 미디어인 사이니지를 이해하는 전문가의 인터뷰를 통해서 Q 방법론을 적용한 시장유형을 구분하는 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과, 3개 유형을 도출할 수 있었다. 유형들은 사이니지의 사용에 대한 P 표본대상자의 이용경험과 지식차이에 따라 유사한 생각, 의견, 개념, 태도로 묶여서 각 유형을 설명해주고 있다. 각 유형은 제1유형은 인터랙티브 사이니지 시장, 제2유형은 네트워크 사이니지 시장, 제3유형은 타 매체 연동형 사이니지 시장으로 명명되었다.

상품화된 육수의 이용 현황 및 소비자 의견 조사 (A survey on the Status of Utilization and Consumers' Opinions for Commercial Soup Stock)

  • 본 연구는 상품화된 육수 재료의 이용 현황 및 소비자 의견을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었고 이를 위해 서울에 거주하는 500명의 주부를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 사용하는 제품의 종류는 분말형이 가장 많았고 시간 절약과 편리함이 상품화된 육수재료를 사용하는 가장 주된 이유였다. 또한 육수 재료를 사용하는 방법으로는 육류로 만든 육수에 섞어서 사용하는 방법이 가장 많이 쓰이고 있었다. 상품화된 육수 재료의 기호도에 대해서는 응답자의 81%가 상품화된 육수에 대해 '좋아하지 않는다'라고 하였다. 좋아하지 않는 가장 큰 이유는 '첨가제에 대한 염려와 인공조미료 때문'이었다. 연령이 높고 결혼지속년수가 길수록 상품화된 육수 재료를 좋아하지 않는 비율은 높아졌다. 상품화된 육수가 품질만 보장된다면 응답자의 75%는 사용할 의사가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 나머지는 아무리 좋은 품질이라 해도 육수는 직접 제조하겠다고 응답하였다. 60대 이상의 응답자들만은 상품화된 육수를 사용하지 않겠다는 비율이 더 높아 60대 이상의 고령층은 상품화된 육수 제품에 대해 가장 거부감이 큰 연령대인 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구 결과, 상품화된 육수의 수요는 크나 시판되는 제품들에 대한 만족도는 낮은 것으로 나타났으므로 소비자 요구를 반영한 육수 제품에 대한 연구가 시급한 것으로 생각된다.

  • 인터넷 환경의 발달로 소비자들 사이에 상품정보에 대한 의견이 교환되기 시작하면서 다양한 형식의 온라인 리뷰들이 급속도로 생성되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라, 기업들은 온라인 리뷰들을 분석하여 마케팅, 세일즈, 제품개발 등의 다양한 기업 활동에서 그 결과를 활용하려는 노력을 진행하고 있다. 그러나 대표적인 경험재인 '게임'과 관련된 산업에서의 온라인 리뷰에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 머신러닝 모델을 활용하여 스팀(STEAM)게임의 커뮤니티 데이터를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 타 사용자의 게임 리뷰를 유용하다고 판단하는데 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 리뷰의 유용성을 예측하는데 있어 가장 우수한 성능을 보인 모델과 변수들을 도출하여 사용자의 충성도와 사용성을 증대시키기 위한 제안을 하고자 한다.
